Donovan mused a bit as he shifted the bags on his shoulder, for once he had more than one, in fact he had two. Seeing as one bag was his, another bag were things Kara thought he should leave in the Ranch house for future users and for the children. Then there was Lin's bag, normally he would insist she hold it, but she had actually slipped into one of his large pockets on his overcoat which caused a bit of unbalanced weight.
"Hurry up already!" he shouted as he opened the door, "Feng don't forget your battle fans!"
He could see them coming and it was only when he was sure they would follow a fraction of a second after him did he enter.

Triton beat his siblings to the door walking through to a place he had not been since his first visit. He looked around and noticed that while it was not fully dark yet, it was nearly there. Probably evening from the looks of it.

Feng and Ryu came tumbling through next followed by their eldest sister who sighed at the way Feng was leaning over her poor twin brother.
Feng's eyes were bright with excitement, even though she knew this was going to be serious work, the fact she was here and Donovan had insisted was cool. Not to mention something about horses, though she hadn't quite been paying attention at the time.
For once Ryu was probably equally as excited, partly because he knew there was a good chance Donovan would go off hunting without the three Winters children that were fighters. They didn't know how to ride a horse or how to fight on one. So this was more training for them than anything else.
He was pretty sure that was why Triton came along as well, since it was something new that Triton hadn't learnt yet.
In the while Cindy heveled her bag over her shoulder checking one last time to make sure she had everything. She was going to check the supplies, and even though she knew that Ulani and Ulrich would make sure the medicial supplies were good, there were things that might not exist here that they might need. She now wore a simple blue dress, (though Helen had originally made her a pink and white one). It was scary how she could make something so helious look good.

"Hmm.." Donovan began to pick up his pace towards the house, motioning for the others to follow, "Hurry, depending on how far it is, we might be able to make it to the Ranch before it becomes really dark. Though, Feng... Ryu, you might have to stay here since the river is closer to this area, there's no point in you two coming if you're going to sleep in the river."
He trotted along until he got up to Ulani and Ulrich's porch, checking the sky to see how much sun was left before knocking on the door.

After only a few short moments, the door was opened, and a very surprised looking eleven-year-old Adonai blinked and stared. His dark hair had grown past his shoulders by now, and was braided in typical elvish fashion. He was only a little shorter than Donovan now, and showed promise of being as tall as his sister had threatened when she was younger.
He blinked at Donovan several times before tilting his head curiously and saying, "Donovan?"
He looked past him at the others, and his face grew brighter. "Cindy!" he called out, waving. "Hi!"
He'd have said more, but he didn't know the others, so he just stepped aside so that they could all come into the house.

Donovan stepped in studying Adonai, noting that the boy was probably close to what his sister's age was back then. A lot of time had passed... again, well that was a given.
"Your parents home?"

Cindy waved back as she ushered her younger siblings into the house, she smiled as her way of showing she was happy to see him, but let Donovan talked. Since it was getting late, and if they could not make it to the Ranch well, she didn't want to put anyone out of their beds.
At least it would be only the three of them in the house if they had to stay.

Triton had to admit, he had been warned, but it was still weird seeing a mixture of Ulani and Ulrich before him. Though... he did seem to look more like Ulani than Ulrich. He peered around the house noting it didn't seem like it had changed overly that much.

Adonai nodded and pointed to the kitchen, where the three of them had been finishing up their dinner. He closed the door behind all of them silently and slipped into the kitchen ahead of them, taking his seat silently.
Ulani blinked. "What ..."
He'd gone to the door, and she'd heard voices ... so why was he here alone?

Donovan followed in after him and waved with a smirk.
"Sorry for interrupting dinner, I always seem to get the later hours whenever I come in," he shrugged good naturelly, "Have you talked to Elrohir and Haradhel yet?"

Feng and Ryu followed with Cindy watching closely. Not that Cindy was worried about Ryu, but Feng tended to get overly excited. Cindy waved at Ulani and Ulrich happily, as she held on tight onto the collar of Feng's shirt.
"Cindy!" Feng pouted at her older sister as she tried to squrim out of her sister's hands. It wasn't working though, and the fact Feng was bent backwards due to the fact she was just as tall as Yue and Yukito (making her taller than Donovan), "Why do you have to do that."
"Because!" Lin, who had been nearly forgotten popped her head out from where she was hiding in Donovan's pocket, "You always ask people if you can hug them. It's a no no for older people with people not family, Earendil said so! So you be good!"

Triton's body leaned into the kitchen as he waved at Ulani and Urich as well, "Hi, uhm... it's been a while."
Though he was kind of glancing at Cindy and Feng, and the fact his little sister was riding in Donovan's pocket probably didn't help matters much. What was Donovan trying to do? Give his workers a heart attack? Wait.. elves can't have heart attacks.

Ulani blinked and Ulrich choked on his mouthful of food as the group (troupe?) walked into the kitchen. Adonai studied his food, deliberately not looking at the others who had joined them.
"Elrohir and Haradhel, yes," Ulani said finally, recovering from her surprise. "Yes, they arrived ... a few weeks ago." She cleared her throat a bit. "Hello Triton ... Cindy ..."
And she looked at the other two curiously.
Suddenly the front door slammed open again, and an excited voice started calling out in rapid elvish. Aliya, sixteen and as tall as her father bounded into the room excitedly, but stopped in her tracks when she saw how many strangers there were in there.
"CINDY!" she exclaimed, seeing her in the kitchen. Her blue eyes sparkled and her long golden tresses flew in every direction as she pounced on Cindy and squeezed her in an enormous hug. "You're back! You're back! You left without saying anything and when I came home you were gone!"

"Eep!" Cindy felt herself being pounced on which put her completely off balance, fortunately she had Aliya hugging her which meant she wouldn't fall over, "Aliya!" Cindy smiled, "It's good to see you again."
The young woman as Cindy had deemed her had not changed that much, at least not energy wise.
Unfortunately Cindy had tugged on Feng's collar at the sudden weight, before letting go, which threw Feng completely backwards, "Ack!" she grabbed onto Ryu's arm. The unfortunate thing about being as tall as they were was that their center of gravity was much further away from the ground than normal humans, making them quite unstable on their feet. (It didn't help that legs and feet were secondary things and they had long legs to begin with.)
Ryu had been caught competely off balance by this and ended up toppling over sending both twins crashing to the ground. The sudden drop in height, and the fact the two were completely started sent the two mers, tails and all on the ground in a knot of limbs and scales.
"Feng and Ryu go boom," Lin commented up at her father.

Triton winced at the two coming down like they did, partly because he had deemed it a long fall because of their height. Those two were the only people he thought could possilbly be as tall as a normal elf or at least a few shades under it.
