The grass below him made a hissing sound as he stepped on it. It slowly blackened then singed to nothing. Fang looked down at his burning, purple paw that he had obviously got from his father. He wanted to know who this 'father' of his was, but when he asked no one ever answered. His mind quickly strayed from the thought of his father, to what he was going to do today.
"Hm..." He said quietly to himself as he looked around. A small red figure in the distance caught his sight and he quickly made his way over to it. Just as he suspected it was his brother, who seemed to be the complete opposite of Fang. His eyes were pure white, with no feeling in them, which also probably came from their father. As he looked over his siblings, Fang slowly came up with a picture of his father in his head.

Mumbling softly about what his and his sibling's father was. Haseo was curious to meet the large male that was called his father. Mother never answered his questions, neither his siblings. Haseo always had that feeling that Lila wanted to keep their father's name hidden, maybe for their own good. Scrapping the ground and raising his head Haseo spotted the gray figure of his brother running over to him, Haseo looked at him in confusion as Fang examined him strangely.
"What is it?" spat the grumpy male. Fang was also, like him, trying to put an image and find who their father was. It was question no one seemed to answer. Haseo sat down and looked at Fang once more, no emotion spread through his blank eyes. Haseo was in thought, like he was most of time. Charu seemed to fill his mind though, and that put the small kit in an uncomfortable position.
Leaving that dormant place of his mind Haseo looked back at Fang, "So?"

"It's boring." He said huffing a little at his little bit of a run as he made an abrupt stop in front of his cruel brother. The purple male blinked at his brother that had no emotion whatsoever on his face, but a cruel sounding voice. "Brother..." Fang ventured out, "has mother ever told you anything about father?" It was the only thing Fang could ever think of. Who was their father? What did he look like? Why did their mother and 'aunt' work so hard to keep him such a secret?
Fang stood still in front of his brother, feeling the grass slowly wither away under his burning paw. Usually, the little kit tried not to stand still, for he did not want to kill of the grass that was needed for them to be able to eat. The sound of a creature moving in the tall grass made Fang's large, fluffy ears twitch a little. The honest, upright kit sat straight up, as usual, waiting for his brother to speak again.

Haseo was not so stunned by the question. He had been the one to ask the most questions, daring himself to growl at his very own mother just for her to stop shooting worried glances at him. Then Fang started getting curious of their father, asking questions too about him. Lila and their Aunt always worked together, like they were trying hard for them not to learn of their father.
Kneading the ground comfortably now Haseo stared up at Fang, the answers he died to say boiled in him. If only he knew the answers that would send them searching for father, "No. They haven't said a single work to me. I ask them, yet they just stare as if some crow had come and taken me into it's depths." Haseo replied to his brother's question firmly. All they wanted was to find out the answers of who their father was, that was all.
How hard could that be?

Fang's head drooped a little at his brother's answer. Why were they so afraid? Maybe their father was cruel and would hurt them? Maybe he died? Maybe, just maybe he was the lover of their mother's life, but he was afraid and left their mother alone? What if he was afraid of children? Maybe they could find him... yeah, they could find him by using the picture he had come up with of him by taking all the coloring's of their siblings that had something that did not come from their mother.
The smell of burning grass made Fang smile a little bit. There was a small bit of evil in him, but not much at all. Their mother had taught him better, and she tried hard to teach all of the other kits as well. Fang huffed a little then looked around a little. The rustling of the bushes stopped whenever the thing hiding heard his brother's firm voice.
"Maybe one day we will meet father. I have a pretty good picture of him in my head." The little purple and red kit said using his nail to dig in the dirt a little.

Haseo chuckled, it looks like Fang did have some evil stuck in his bones. Even how hard their mother tried, she had better known there would be at least one or two evil kits in the family. Flickering around to see that his brother also, was deep in thought Haseo soon smirked. "I haven't been able to think with this... Picture stuck in my mind." he growled, Haseo was talking about the female kit of Charu. Ever since that day he had an urge to go and find her, play with her and converse more.
Another thought came to mind, what if their father didn't know he had children? Maybe he had left after meeting Lila, and maybe she was pregnant before then. So then, he probably didn't know. Haseo layed down calmly, his eyes wandering across the gray sky. "Maybe our father doesn't know we even exist. I bet he ran off before our mother could even tell him he was going to be a father."
Haseo rolled around and sat up again, his ears flickered shortly.

Fang nodded his head a little at his brother's suggestion about their father. That was one thing that may have happened, but there was a numerous amount of reasons to why they never met their father and why their mother wouldn't teach them about him. "That could be..." Was all Fang to muster as he went into deep thought, creating reasons to why they didn't know who their father was.
Fang's eyes wandered as he thought. When he took another step, the smell of the burning grass filled his lungs. A great smell indeed. The dirt below him still had the markings that his claws made. His paw quickly stamped it as he came out his thoughts. Still, no idea of what may have happened to their father.
The little purple kit blinked at his brother rolling on the dirt. He shrugged his shoulders a little then flicked his ears at the wind that was blowing in them.

The firey smell reached Haseo shortly, he breathed it in delightfully. That scent was heaven to him, he had grown used to fire and it's horrible gases then other Ulaya, which would run because they said it was poisonous. Eyeing his brother dimly, Haseo snorted softly. The kit started tearing the ground with his claws, boredly staring down at it. Haseo murmured something he would dare never say to any Ulaya, and then looked up at his brother.
"The picture that roams our minds always changes," Haseo went on, scrapping a large piece of rocky dirt out of the ground, "I have seen the uniqueness of our other siblings. You and our other brother have fire. I have white eyes, our sister has horns, and our other sister has hooves." He said calmly, looking closely at Fang. His image of their father could be just right, though the color wrong. Haseo sighed softly, retracing his thoughts and finding the right image once more.
"Maybe our father have all those things. He has them all, a big mess if you may."

Fang nodded at his brother. "I think he is red with some white on him. Where else would our white brother get his coloring from?" The little purple kit sat down watching his brother dig at the dirt. He seemed angry, but Fang could only guess which reasons he might be angry. Maybe for not ever meeting their father? Maybe for not ever really being able to talk to the family since there were so many of them.
Fang sat quiet for a moment before he spoke to his brother again. "What kind of markings would father have?" He wanted to know. What kind of white markings did he have if he actually did have white markings. Maybe he was all red, with some fire on him, but with some white looking fire markings on him, which would explain there one brother's coloring, and their sister's markings that looked like fire.
"Our father may not even be worth all of our troubles." The little purple kit said. He wanted to know, but at the same time he didn't, just in case he really was a rude creature.

Haseo replied with a simplie nod. He stared up at the clouds, which floated by without stopping and creating a giant blanket of the pillowy clouds. He suspected that the clouds were white, and the sky was a light blue color. Colors were what Haseo had his mind on, since every color was black, gray, or white to him. Sighing Haseo shook his head and searched his memories for that male he had met before he had come to find his brother.
That ulaya was probably red, fire had been burning from his back and didn't affect him, his eyes were blank, large horns curved down, and hooves instead of paws were placed. Haseo was in a state of shock of that memory. Could that male have been their father? I mean, he had the same type of temper as Haseo, but more violent.
"I think I know who our father is." He spoke up, blowing away the silence that had left the area still.

Fang's head tilted at his brother. What on earth was he talking about? Just a second ago he didn't have a clue who their father was and now he has an idea of who this unknown figure was? His head raised up to what his brother was looking at. The clouds were gathering, which normally meant rain or something was on its way.
Slowly the white clouds would turn a gray, and Fang would go into hiding. Rain... one of the worst things ever came up with. Water period was the worst thing ever came up with. After a second of looking up at the sky, Fang's eyes drifted back down to his brother. "We should probably go some place where there are more trees." He said keeping a close eye on the clouds that were gathering little by little.
"Well? Who is he? What does he look like? Is he nice?" Fang wanted to know all these things. Finally they may have an idea of who their father actually was.

Haseo had something to show too that would prove their father was very evil. Before he had left that ulaya, he had retorted that they looked alike, then that male had striked down his hoove on his shoulder. The immense pain had left Haseo injured for quite sometime, now a large scar rested on his shouler.
"Well he isn't nice." Haseo said sourly, turning around to reveal the medium sized scar upon his shoulder. "When I confronted him about that he might have children, this was my payment." Then he immediately went on to the details of what the male looked like. That memory wanted to stay dormant for as long as he lived, that painful one.
"He was red, well I think, I don't know what these 'colors' look like." Haseo grunted softly, "He had horns curved in a different position, white eys, black hoves, and his entire body was aflame." Sitting down Haseo slowly went to his personaily again, "He was violent. Very violent. To be honest, I think he raped our mother."

Fang's high hopes of a kind and caring father were crushed under his brother's paws. His once cheerful smile faded into a sorrowful frown. This couldn't be true. Was brother lieing? Maybe it wasn't their father instead just a male that looked a lot like him?
The scar on Haseo's shoulder made Fang nod his head a little. It must be true... That ulaya Haseo was talking about was in fact their father. He had the perfect description of what Fang thought he would look like... well he didn't have markings like Fang thought, but that was the only thing different. "So he had not markings?" Fang ventured. Maybe Haseo had forgotten about the markings.
"Why do you think he raped our mother?" Fang asked, a little offended that his brother would say such a thing about their father. "Mother would never let anyone do that to her." He added. Of course, their mother wasn't the strongest of all the ulaya he had met.

Haseo wanted to snarl somewhat, Fang always had questions that needed to be answered. But he might just be asking the wrong soul, Haseo would love to ask mother of what father did to her, or was she afraid to admit that they were her little 'mistakes'? "He didn't have markings. Only red with the color of flame, but they could by any color." Since Haseo could only see everything in grey then it was hard for him to put a perfect description of every ulaya together. It was very difficult.
Facing Fang Haseo snorted. "Why would anyone be mates with that type of ulaya? The ones who would even hurt kits?" He questioned quietly, sounded like he too was hurt. "That type of ulaya would need to seduce them, or at least... Rape them." The word was poison in Haseo's mouth. He really couldn't bare to word it out.
"Maybe her and that ulaya happened to meet some day, but the meeting went sour and it ended with him raping her." This would have shocked anyone. Haseo didn't like saying this to anyone, he had kept it hidden from all his family because he was afraid of what they would have said. So far Fang was the only one.

Fang thought for a second. What could be a possible explanation for their mother having children with their father? Fang wouldn't let himself agree with his brother. He didn't want to believe that their father was vicious and cruel. Maybe he just didn't like kits. There were too many questions left unanswered, and Fang wanted them to be answered as soon as possible.
"Maybe father doesn't like kits... or maybe they fell in love but figured out that they didn't truly love one another." Fang thought aloud. Love... it seemed like a worthless thing. What was the point of it? Just as his brother thought, he always did have questions. Fang had been around their curious aunt for far too long. He sighed a little.
He was going to meet their father one of these days and prove to Haseo that he wasn't such a bad ulaya... hopefully. Fang would wait till he was older, wiser, and stronger before he came face to face with their father. His stomach turned at the thought of meeting their father. Why was he so afraid? Maybe their father wasn't good news after all.
