It was rather late, the sun had already set a while back and the stars now twinkling brightly in the sky. Most would be sleeping at this moment in time, especially cubs. However the brown-daddy-look-a-like-with-mommy's-colors was restless, unable to fall asleep for reasons beyond her. For the longest time she just laid on her back looking up at the ceiling of the den hoping that she'd fall back asleep. Alas it did not work and thus she rolled over to her belly, standing carefully, not wanting to wake any of her family members.
Slowly she worked her way through the sprawled bodies towards the mouth of the cave, letting the wind rush past her, enjoying the feel of it against her so much. A smile crossed her maw as she padded softly towards the closest tree. Extending her claws she quickly climbed the tree with grace standing on the branch close to the trunk before slowly inching her way outward toward the tip.
When Tizona reached the middle she closed her eyes and breathed deeply, letting her body relax. There the wind took her away letting her soar in her imagination.

He was getting older, he was getting bigger, oh happy day! He was singing in his mind, pouncing back and forth, trying to perfect his style. His best friend Ruffian taught him how to pounce, he had to get better so that he could show her! Yea, then she'd be so happy and they would pounce bugs and stuff all day.
Then maybe Ruffian could teach him something else!
Then he could show daddy!
Murasame pranced around in the grasses, happy as could be, accept he was alone, and wished for a bit more fun today.

As the wind flew past her she slowly opened her eyes to survey the area around her, to make sure that nothing was close by that could knock her off the branch in any way, shape or form. The last time she had fallen from a branch it had been painful and she hadn't even hit the ground! No she had fallen on a rather nice passerby who was kind enough to save her from the worst of it. Still she wanted to avoid that at all costs.
Seeing nothing at all threatening she started to settle more comfortably on the branch. At that moment she spotted her brother. Unable to control herself she called out. "Murasame!" her voice was lifted by the wind and hopefully carried to her sibling.

"Tiz?" a shortened name her gave his brown pelted sister who he cared for so much, family was everything to the dark pelted juvenile. Peering around with orange orbs he looked and looked until he spotted something in the distance...was she n a branch?! He took off at a run to try and get closer, hopefully her cry to him wasn't a cry for help that she was stuck or something, but upon further inspection coming closer to her, he merely stopped and smiled at her.
A new game?
"Whatcha doing Tiz?"

"Mura!" Tizona called out shorting his name as he did hers when he called for her. She settled against the branch peering her head over the side beaming at her brother. "I'm flying Mura!" She exclaimed cheerfully. Her answer probably sounded very odd to her sibling because she couldn't fly without wings but she still could fly in a sense.
It would be interesting to explain to say the very least. "Do you want to fly too?" Tizona inquired tilting her head at her sibling eagerly awaiting his answer.

"Flying?" he tilted his head, flicked his tail. How could she fly without wings like a bird or butterfly? He peered over at her, and no such wings had suddenly sprouted from her back, what was she speaking of? Orange hues blinked, watching her, and he nodded, maybe he would learn how to fly...however she meant.
"So, what do you have to do Tiz?" he asked, curiosity in his tone of voice.
He couldn't help but wonder.

A giggle escaped the young female's maw at her brother's confusion. "Yes flying!" She exclaimed. She fell silent for a minute peering down over the branch at him just waiting for him to ask her to show him how to fly like she did. "Come close Mura," she told him beckoning with a paw. Flattening herself against the wood of the branch she was perched upon she craned her neck downward.
"Whatcha do is you climb a tree, find a nice high but sturdy branch," she whispered keeping her tone low like it was some big secret. "Then you close your eyes and let the wind take you away." Her last words were hurried like she couldn't get them out fast enough.

Murasame gave a gulp, and shook his head at her. Tiz could maybe do that, but not him, not now, "Maybe later..." later as in when he was bigger, or mom or dad was around, that sounded good to him indeed. "Besides, I thought if you flew you ahve to have wings, don't you?" he was confused, so many things that confused him as of late.
Strange things everywhere.
New things to learn.

With a furrowed brow and a pout Tizona spoke "Aw come on Mura, it's fun!" She told him bouncing back to her usually happy demur. Sticking her tongue out she made a funny face at him. "No you don't, not the way I fly." She exclaimed before pulling away from the bark and backing up. Peering down at the ground she wiggled just before she jumped off the branch and to the trunk digging her claws into the bark.
Letting herself drag a little she released the trunk and pushed off landing upon the grass rolling as she did so. "Sorry if I hurt you mister/miss tree!"

"But-" he said before he watched her come down, scraping at the bark as she did so. "I think it would be more fun if we have wings, and we don't Tiz," he peered over at the tree, and wondered if the tree could speak, and if it could, what it might say to his sister. He scrunched his nose and made a half smile, trees talking? That'd be the day. "I think its okay, the tree," Murasame said looking at it, though he felt as if he was clawed at, it would hurt, "Should we do something for it Tiz?"

"Maybe but it's still fun to fly without wings." Tizona chirped with a happy nod gaze slowly drifting to the tree. Wrinkling her nose she pranced up to the tree rubbing her side against it. "I know it looks like it hurt mister/miss tree but I only got the outer layer of it, nothing very damageable." The brown juve explained golden yellow eyes looking up resting upon her claw marks. "There isn't really anything we can do for it right now..."
Slowly she looked away and back to her dark brother a smile upon her face. "Only time can help it right now. Anyway do you wanna play?"

Murasame watched Tizona, looked up towards the sky, down to the grass beneath his paws and shook his head with a smile on his maw. No, not today. Though he grinned at his sister, play? Yes. Murasame took a fe steps to be closer to her side, looking around at other things besides his sister and smiled, flicked his tail, looked around for the best get away path.
"Yea," he said simply, touched his paw to her shoulder, "Tag your it!" and he darted off into the grass.
This was family.

Tizona blinked as her brother tapped her upon the shoulder before darting off. Gasping as though in surprise she shook her head. "Not for long!" She called after him a happy smile lighting up her features as she darted after him determined to catch him before their parents made them come home. She loved playing her her brother. It was always the most fun.
Family was the best.
