The vampire had only discovered this valley recently, and he still wasnt exactly sure where he was, not that he cared too much. He was fine with where he was at the moment, and had no complaints about his life. His muscles flexed under his legs as he walked, and his cloven hooves crushed the grass beneath him.
Casting his sea blue gaze to the sky, he watched the dark of the night be engulfed with the light of the moon and scoffed.
"Bloody Moon..Can't even let a bloke get a little night action.."

The foliage near Spike shifted with the slight wind that had begun to pick up. However the movement lasted far longer then winter's breath of wind. A set of pale green eye's peered out from the stark darker green foliage. The only movement after that was the blink of them every so often. It seemed whatever was hiding within the bush was shy.
For several long moments, nothing moved until with the cracking of the bush a young colt emerged. Though he didn't completely come out from the bush, opting instead to merely stick the majority of his head and muzzle out. His small nostrils flaring slightly as he sniffed nervously at the air.

Omg, Milo is the cuteness<33]
Spike had taken to looking at the scenery of this new place he was to call home, and his gaze had been caught by the moving foliage around his feet. His eyesbrows raising, he wondered what could be in the bush, making it move so much.
"What the Bloody 'ell.." He mumbled, while looking down at the bush to investigate.
When the small colt stuck his head out of the bush, Spike backed up a bit, his eyes only a little wide.
"Holy-.. Where did you come from, now?"

His eyes widened as he started in slight horror up at the massive creature before him. However once he noticed that it had seen him, his head darted back into safety of the grass. Not that it did much good as he was still sniffed at by the creature.
As Spike spoke, Milo's head cocked slightly to the left. His ear's flicking forward as he tried to understand his words. He understood the tone of his voice but not the actual words. Regarding the giant one quietly, Milo's eyes held a weary, nervous look to them. A hint of feral nature swirling within their green depths.

So, another being who couldnt understand him, much like Birdy, the little mare he had coined as Birdy, due to her believing she was an actual bird.
He was cute, and kind of reminded Spike of a cat.. A small cat..
But what were all these Soquili's thinking they were other things lately? He had never been that way before, yet.. Here he was, watching half the people he met think they were something else.
Or maybe this one was just..
Mute? No. His eyes gave him intelligence.
No, there was a feral gaze in those green eyes.
"So you can't understand me then, can you?"

Milo's gaze stared back upon spike unblinkingly. Now completely of the patch of grass and bush that had been his hiding space. He was curious of the giant one. Wondering just why he was where he was.

Ya know, if ya like. A good plot could be that he more or less helps the little guy learn to speak, and lets Milo follow him for awhile.<3]]
Spike looked at the little pony, and his eyebrow couldnt help but raise.
"Ah yes, you can't understand a word that comes out of my mouth."
Peachy, he thought. Not too sure he wanted to be standing here with a colt who really.. Had never gotten the speech training that was vital in a Colts growing brain. Shaking his head, he was sick of trying to make sense of it all here in the new lands.
"My name is Spike.."

Milo's ear's swiveled as a cricket chirped someplace of to his left.Taking another step towards Spike, Milo continued to watch him. So the giant was a spike? well what's a spike? will it hurt him or is it nice? Milo's forward progress halted as his nose bumped into Spike's leg. Too busy trying to figure things out, he hadn't been paying any attention to what was happening.

Spike lowered his head, bringing it to the little one's level as much as possible and blew a bit of breath at the top of his head, ruffling his fur.
Well.. he was a cute little bloke, that was for sure.
"Why arent you with your parents?" He asked, looking around him, and then sticking his head into the bushes as if looking for others.
"Surely you didnt travel on your own."

Sniffing at Spike's leg, Milo decided that he was friend at least for now. Tuning back into Spike's voice, Milo cocked his head once more. Parent's? What were those? Butting his head against Spike's leg, Milo tried to come up with a way to let him know he didn't know.

Well, the little guy was sure working his magic on the big softy of a vampire. Spike couldnt help but grin, and nod at the colt bumping into his leg.
"Do you have a name? Or do I get to come up with something to name you, little bit?"
He asked, head still at Milo's level.

Milo peered into Spike's eyes as he shifted his weight from side to side. A name? He thought he had one though he wasn't sure what it was or how to say it. Letting out a soft woof of air, Milo watched Spike some more.

Teal eyes gleamed into the soft green eyes of the Colt. Hmm..
He was cute, as Spikes old childhood cat friend had been.. He even looked like the Lion that had befriended him.
If only he could think of the name...
Milo! That was it!
"What about Milo? Seems like it could fit you well."

His ears perked up at the name. Milo? hmm that seems like a nice one. Blinking his consent at the new name, Milo opened his mouth almost as if to say something but closed it again. He wasn't even sure how to start to say something.

He grinned, his normal lopsided grin that stuck to his face usually for awhile once it presented itself.
"So you like it then? Good. Milo is a good name for you."
He nodded, as if resigning to the fact that Milo was an excellent name.
But then when the little ones mouth opened, and closed, Spike realized maybe he could be of some use to these Lands.
"Just open your mouth, and try to say Milo. M-I-L-O... I think.. Anyway.."
He said, looking to teh colt expectantly.
