Keahi stared up at the sky, blissfully ignorant to all that was going on around her. She was enthralled by the beauty of the night sky. Every sparkling star, shining oh so bright... the moon, casting it's light upon the nocturnal life forms that crawled upon the land... every cloud, drifting casually across the wide expanse of sky. As Keahi stared, the nightly forms took on a life of their own... and formed into a court.
The moon was the Queen, the stars her courtiers. A fool in the form of a shooting star rushed across the night sky, making the stars twinkle with laughter and the Queen laugh at her Jester. All wore flowing gowns of sparkling stardust, silver headpieces done up so elaborately that they shone with a light of their own.
A small smile pulled at the corners of Keahi's lips. How wonderful it would be, to shine with such purity in the sky!

Omg, I love the title. It made me LOL.]
His Cyan gaze crept over the serene little area of which he had jut arrived. He had yet to know where he was, and he wasnt at all sure he minded. Because this was a proper little place, be it annoying cute. Snorting a bit, in a bit of a huff, he continued to walk through the plains that were leading for the forest that he was aiming for. After all, one couldn't merely sleep in the open!
His lion-like tail flicked behind him as he walked, his pace slow and steady. He wasn't in any hurry. After all.. He was blissfully aware of how young the n ight was.
His eyes casted towards teh darkened sky lit with the moon, he smiled. "Home Sweet Home."
He said, giving a bit of a grin that was lopsided at best.

The words cut into Keahi's little dream world, wrenching her from her courtly dreams. Even the lightest whisper broke into the silence of this night, disturbing the peace.
The mare blinked, bloodred eyes searching the land about her for the cause of such a disturbance. She had not expected to hear a language she could understand... yes, the crickets chirped and the owls called, but she could not comprehend their message... but this! She could have sworn she'd heard a Soquili's voice...
"Hello?" She called out, wincing slightly as her voice pierced the night air. Her voice was considered pleasing to the ear by many, rich and full of life with a slightly lilting quality that set it apart from other huskier tones.

Normally the boisterous stallion loved to socialize and brag about his achievements, but tonight had been the night he had wanted to sleep. But he also hadnt had company in what seemed like forever, and the Unicorn couldnt help but want a little conversation.. be it intelligent or not.
"Well..Sneaking up on others now, huh, luv?" He said, raising an eyebrow and shaking back his white blonde mane. It was short, but it was him, and it suited him very well. The mare was cute, with her black and orange-ness. It reminded him of Halloween in a way, or something of Hell itself, and that might even be amusing.

Keahi's turned the rest of the way to fully face the speaker. "I have not moved in many hours. From what I understand, it would be fairly difficult to sneak up on anything while remaining utterly still." She returned his raised eyebrow in kind, silently challenging him to find a flaw in her logic.
To many, remaining still for hours would seem in impossible feat. It was quite easy for Keahi: all she had to do was get interested in something.
When she was but a filly, full of energy and new life, she could barely stand still for more then a few seconds. When forced to do so, her tail would twitch constantly lest she explode from pent-up energy. As she grew, all that wondrous life had been transfered to her mind... and she studied things with the same fervor she had once applied to racing across the lands.
It was rude to stare, but Keahi could not help but do so. The only other being she had seen with a bloodied horn had been a Kalona cross, and she had not fared all too well in that encounter. This strange stallion did not seem dangerous... well, perhaps a bit.

The unicorn vampire, the only of his kind, he was sure, thought about what she had said. Giving a shake of his head, he rolled his eyes only slightly, and in the dark, it would have seemed as if he had done nothing. One eyebrow raised quickly above the other, as he gave his lopsided grin again.
"Really now? Well dare I ask why you havent moved in hours?" He looked around the mare, and shook his head in disbelief, his eyes catching hers and letting her know he thought the idea ludacris.
"Doesn't seem too thrilling, ya ask me.."
He said, looking back at her.

She gave a light laugh, one that didn't show all too much merriment but still passed for an expression of amusement. "Oh, I don't just stand there. I think. I wonder about the origins of things. I think about whether something that cannot speak can be considered living. I ponder the reasons for the ways things are, and why there are even reasons in the first place... you know, the usual stuff." She shrugged slightly.
"My name is Keahi. May I ask yours?" The words came as if on automatic, as though she was going through a series of steps used so many times they became almost second-nature. Her parents had made sure that she had some semblance of manners; She'd never let a conversation go for more then a few lines without a proper introduction, as doing such a thing would be... unthinkable.

Smiling, he shook his head. Ah, the wierdness of everyone here. Maybe these lands were contagious.. and if this crazy was contagious he was fully ready to go back from whence he came.
Raising an eyebrow, he spoke. "Ah. Well. I suppose one person's... treasure.." He didnt finish, more of lost the thought. Shrugging he looked back at her.
"Name's Spike. Pleasure indeed." He said, his own manners intact.

One eyebrow arched, as if a question mark. Would his sentence go unfinished...?
One person's treasure... should be guarded? Is a lure to those of evil kin? Would be stolen? Is shiny?
Her left shoulder muscle twitched as her body attempted to regain her attention. It wanted it's after-thought stretching, the time of exercise she gave her muscles after being still for so long. It would not do if her muscles were to become flaccid, her form loose.... Oh, she would give up much in her quest for knowledge, but not that.
Vanity, of course, had nothing to do with her hesitance towards becoming less-then-fit. She only wanted to live the fullest life she could, and she had observed that if one is healthy it is easier to live longer.
She stretched her left leg out, attempting to quell the persistent twitch.
"I apologize if this behavior may seem strange to you..."

He watched the mare closely, wondering what the hell she was doing. She seemed to be.. Was she twitching? He had a thought in his head, and it made him wonder if she needed help of some kind. But she looked fine, surely she didn't need his help. After all, what would he do? Talk her to death? Oh yeah, that sounded pleasant.. Not..
"Are you, are you in need of assistance? And if not, what in the bloody 'ell are you doing, then?" He asked, arching his own eyebrow.
