thanks guys!
i wrote it as a song, but i told everyone this summer that it was a poem.
they were like "0_o dude! you should change it into a song!" that confirmed it in my mind.
I'm thinking heavy instrumental [alice in chains] but creepy vocals [smashing pumpkins? but deeper].

tourniquetsmile thanks guys! i wrote it as a song, but i told everyone this summer that it was a poem. they were like "0_o dude! you should change it into a song!" that confirmed it in my mind. I'm thinking heavy instrumental [alice in chains] but creepy vocals [smashing pumpkins? but deeper]. Niiiice~! that'd sound awesome...>_>! if only we could find these people...cause i miss real music. -__-! not to say the stuff out now isnt good, but its not what it could--or used--to be.

That's a good poem! It tottaly sounds like it should be a song.
Yes, I agree with you on the deeo vocals part.
Chad Kroeger has kind of a creey, dark, scratchy voice, he would be awesome at singing that. ^.^

Wow, that was simply... In a word, Brilliant. whee
In more than one word, which STILL will not give it it's full glory,
"Sheer perfection, I think the repetition of 'Mr. Pokerman' makes the Poem like a taunt. Simple rhyme scheme, yet done VERY well..."
Heh, I would like to hear that as a song!
