So, it's a Friday night and I have no date. I have a library of games already beaten and an urge to play something a little MMOy but I don't feel like going back to FFXI ever again.

So, I suddenly remember Granado Espada. It was brought up a few times before I quite FFXI and I've seen some people talk about it.

Well chances are that this'll be missed out since it's in the PC section but it'd be enjoyable if we all started up Granado Espada as an off time game.

Luckily outside South East Asia the game is free to play. As long as you make sure that you download the NA/EU client and not Granado Espada home client. THough that should be easy enough seeing as in North America and Europe the game is called Sword of the New World.

In the game you create a family, allowing you to control 3 characters at a time.

Five classes.

Fighter (tank/melee), Wizard (buff/debuff/nuke), Scout (Healer), Musketeer (Ranger), and Elementalist (see wizard but there are enough differences).

It's point and click ala Diablo while in a 3-d environment. You can control your units separate from each other or as a group under a team leader.

Unfortunately you can't re-roll stats. Once you spend a point on an ability you're stuck with it.

It's an interesting F2P and has PVP servers and on top of that it has a nice art style and world build compared to other F2P MMOs and supports soloing. I have an account set up with a family created and a few characters at level 8 currently. We should set up accounts sometime and play.
