Ah, Winter. What a wonderful time of year, you think. It is a time of giving and sharing, of love, laughter and family; but most of all, a time for a Yule Ball.
What better way to start the Holidays than with a beautiful ball at Hogwarts with all your friends? But of course, this means it is time to throw your dress robes on and go dance!
You, fair student, have arrived just in time! By this time, the Great Hall - having been cleared from all of it House tables - looks absolutely breath-taking. The walls and floors are covered in ice, making it resemble a beautiful ice cavern. Ice sculptures of various creatures can be found scattered within the Hall. Furthermore, the sculptures have been charmed not to melt, and seem to shimmer brightly in the light of the Hall. Wreaths in all shapes and sizes decorate the many walls and tables of the room while numerous ornaments of every color hover near the ceiling. The most important decoration in the Hall, however, is the tree.The Christmas tree, decorated with all house colors, stands out proudly in the front of the Hall. Its branches are lightly covered in snow.
Soon after, the orchestra begins to play. The Ball has officially begun.

Ah, that Peeves. He is probably busy hiding from every prefect and all the professors so that he can continue his pranking.
He can't hide forever though. Eventually they'll make it, you're correct.

Very true - and if we can't locate Peeves, the Bloody Baron has always been willing to assist me when Peeves gives me grief on rounds.
I wonder if the ghosts will attend tonight? I always find it interesting to observe the interactions between the Grey Lady and the Bloody Baron.

They have been quite wonderful. I have enjoyed them fully. I just finished counting up house points and such, since I do not believe my head of house exists any longer.
How are you enjoying everything?
Is there anything you wanted to see, but did not?
