Aka The Black Swindler.  DramaWiki Yamashita Tomohisa plays Kurosaki, a young man whose family was destroyed by swindlers. Despite that, Kurosaki grows up to become a con artist known as Kurosagi. As Kurosagi, he swindles other con artists and returns the money to the original victim. He works with the master swindler Katsuragi Toshio (Yamazaki Tsutomu) even though Toshio had a hand in the destruction of Kurosaki’s family. Kurosaki's life begins to change when he meets Yoshikawa Tsurara (Horikita Maki), a young law student who disapproves of his disrespect of the law. Can she persuade Kurosaki to give up swindling and his quest for revenge? Based on the hit manga series by Natsuhara Takeshi with artwork by Kuromaru serialized in Young Sunday (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=497 cool magazine Really really good. And in my opinion Yamapis best performance ever. The plot is interesting, and it really crushed my heart in the last episode when Spoiler. arrow he was arrested. gonk
What did you think of it? Don't that cop Kashima have a really strange laugh? He kind of freaked me out sometimes. xd

<3333 Yamaki is awesome...
I know the storyline doesnt revolve around a romance...
but some how i want the chars to have more romantic moments..
to blossom their love?
xD.....
But not saying i don't love his smart swindling cases xD

I know the storyline doesnt revolve around a romance...
but some how i want the chars to have more romantic moments..
to blossom their love?
xD.....
But not saying i don't love his smart swindling cases xD Agreed. xD I hope something happens between them in the movie. heart

ConFusEd[AzN]GirL Yah. I strongly think something will happen. Because they're always making it seem like theirs some feelings being unsaid in the drama.
YOu can also tell that Maki's char doesn't just see Yamapi's char as her landlord. and vice versa.

The whole drama I thought something was going to happen between them. xD I remember seeing the "next episode" preview and they showed a small clip of when it looks like he hugs her, I really thought he did it. I was so disapointed when I saw and realized that was not the case. xD

I watched the series already. (in one day) ;D
Liked it, but the ending was unfair.. >__< I knew the policeman would sit in Mikihiro's place but if Kurosaki gets arrested (great scene <3 ) he should have been a longer period in jail. Same would be in My boss my hero. So he gets arrested, but doesn't achieve his revenge?
It was nice to see Horikita Maki. And of course YamaPi. heart

It was nice to see Horikita Maki. And of course YamaPi. heart No. They can't keep him arrested, they have no evidence. The evidence they had was the other swindler. But she took back what she had said. So they had to let him go. D;

I love how even though he was playing one character, it was like he played more than one part because his character had all these different acts for swindling. It really showed off his acting skills.
Whenever I watch the movie trailer, I always laugh at that one scene where Kurosaki is dressed as Jack Sparrow from Pirates (at least, that's what it looks like). blaugh

I want to see the movie now. gonk When is the release date for the dvd? All I know is that the movie was released in theaters on March 8th. I can't find any info on the DVD release.
