Life was dull and had no meaning, at least to Kiamba'Roho. The large male had yet to find anything that could brining to his life again and so, had taken to wandering the rogue lands making sure to skirt around the bits of land claimed by prides. The last thing the rogue needed was a confrontation. At the point his life was at, he may just fall over and let the attacker rip him apart with no regret.
It was amazing, yet pathetic, that a male could allow one female to destroy him, but that was exactly what had happened to Roho. He had fallen for a lioness, a Goddess, and she had taken advantage o his love, used him, then threw him out for Roho's brother. At least, that was how it appeared to Roho. His one love in his young life ahd been everything to him, and now he had nothing and even feared growing close to another lioness. He knew he'd never be able to take such a blow again.
The roaming rogue had moved quite a distance and was unknowingly moving towards the sea. That would certainly be a sight to see, if he made it there that is. Who knew what the world would throw at him.

Kamaria had been healing a great couple weeks when she finally decided her body could do no more for her on its own. The weak lioness had finally lifted her weary form from the bloodied sand and began limping along the border. She could not go far because of the pain, but thought that walking a little bit each day could help her regain her strength that she once had. Much of her pain was internal, due to the absolute crushing of all that she dreamed about. The lioness was a rather emotional wreck.
As she continued along the coast, she spotted the site of another weary lion approaching. Kamaria was too weak to do anything about an attacker, so she only paused and tried to get a better look at the oncoming..male. The lion approaching was certainly a male and the more Kamaria watched him, the more he seemed wounded to her. A guilt and pity welled up within Kamaria and she took a few steps forward.
What caused the lioness to stop was how she treated the young boys that came to visit her. She put them down as though she did not need anyone. Would this male do the same to her? Kamaria's ears folded down at the thought, but she continued on. If such things happened to her, it would be deserved.

Roho had little thoughts on his mind except his own self wallowing. It had been so long ago and yet the pitiful male could not let it go. As strong as he was physically, Roho could not handle emotional pain well. Still, it all led to a pathetic sight as Roho trudged along to no particular destination.
It wasn't until he chanced a glance up to see where exactly he was that Roho caught sight of the white lioness. Stopping dead in his tracks, Roho just stared at her. If it hadn't been for the fact that she appeared to be in pain Roho would have turned tail and ran from her. Instead, Roho just stood there. He made no advance upon her and opted to let her come to him. Afterall, if he didn't need to confront her he wouldn't but if she truly needed help she'd surely come to him.

Like Roho, Kamaria had also been incredibly self pitying those past few weeks on her own. Even when she had company, she could not get over how much she had been wronged. She had one person in her life that she cared for, someone that was no longer alive and could offer her no comfort, but still, she was wronged.
Her short visits with the other lions had taught her one thing, however. That in a time of need, even the most unlikely of candidates would be willing to help. She knew that her large wounds frightened the young cubs, but they still stepped forward and wished to help. The lioness was thankful for them, their company and kind words.
Now, she felt it was her turn to pay some respect to those who may need it. As she continued towards Roho, she began to smile. It was something she had not done for quite some time and it nearly pained her to fake such an emotion that was once her favorite. "H-hello.." she stuttered, trying deperately to make conversation. "Are you h-hurt?"

Roho watched as the pale hued lioness approached him. She looked worse-for-the-wear. Scars and freshly healed wounds were very evident on her hide. That sight caused a small ache in Roho's chest for the femme. No female should have to deal with that. On top of it, the smile she gave him did not reach her eyes. Whatever happened had to have been terrible to take away her smile. Afterall, Roho had lost his long ago and certainly wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
"I am not hurt, not in any way that you are." He looked pointedly at her wounds to emphasis his meaning. "Are you in need of any help? I certianly can't let you walk around like that on your own." Despite the words spoken from his mouth, Roho did not move one inch from his position. He wanted to help, but there was still that one little shred of doubt in his mind as to whether this was a good idea or not.

Roho had no idea just how wrong his words were. Although their pains came from different situations, both were deep, painful and left a mark bigger than any they could imagine, upon their hearts. Kamaria's only family, friend, and companion had passed away and left with her daughter, a false hope and lie to lead her into more pain. And while her mother may not have known of what lied in those lands that she directed Kamaria to, she still was the only reason Kamaria went.
Confused and curious how the situation could have been turned to her, once again, Kamaria's ears dropped. She no longer could accept the pity from strangers. She was scarred and hurt, but so were many others around the roguelands. It was not uncommon for lions to be attacked, or even killed by others in the constant struggle for food, land, or mates. Shaking her head, sadly, Kamaria tried to rid herself of the spotlight. "No... I am healing.."
Noticing that Roho's form seemed rather still, Kamaria also paused where she was. The male seemed instantly uncomfortable in her presense and unwanting of causing more discomfort, the lioness proceeded to take a few steps back. "W-would you like to be left alone?" Kamaria saw herself in Roho and wondered how the male could have become so... hurt.

"No, not don't leave."
The words left this mouth before he could even ponder them. Was there something inside of him that wanted company? But why a female? Why couldn't it be another male? Maybe it was because this female reflected himself so much that Roho couldn't bring himself to let her go on her own. So, shifiting his body he tried to relax his tense muscles and look more pleasant.
"I really don't think you should be on your own right now. Not until you at least heal a bit more. If...if you don't mind the company that is."

Kamaria almost wished to leave, to relax some more and continue to heal, but when the male said that she should stay, the lioness felt her smile become a bit more real. It surprised her to hear that he did not want to simply continue on his way without her. Perhaps he still had more heart than the lioness had?
When he continued to explain that it was she who needed the company, Kamaria offered a strange expression to him. Was that really the case, or was this male unable to admit to his own needs? Whatever the reason, Kamaria was willing to remain in his company long enough to hear his story. Since the cubs came near the coast, it had been a long while since she had company and this male, although he did not admit it, seemed in need of company as well.
"I would be pleased to have company.. I have spent many days at this coast alone. Would you care to join me in the sand, or shall we walk?" Kamaria felt all the words leave her mouth without thought. She felt strange admitting so much to a stranger, but also felt as though she had nothing to hide. "I have no destination.. I am simply a wanderer.."

Kiamba'Roho looked to the sand and back in the direction he came before answering. "I think for now the sands will do." Taking a few steps forward Kimeti sat and gazed out toward the large body of water that lay in front of him. Never had he seen such a thing, and it made him feel so small but it didn't awaken any other emotions. Why he had thought it would was beyond him, but he had hoped to feel...something more.
"We shall both be wanderers together then. I am going in no particular direction. I am just simply moving." A cool, salty breeze ruffled the lions black mane almost making the air feel uncomfortably sticky. How anyone could live here was beyond Roho. He'd much rather take the cool moist air of the jungle over this.
Glancing to Kamaria again Kimeti looked over her wounds now that he was much closer to her. "If you don't mine me asking, how did you get those? Were you attacked for trespassing on pride territory, get into a rogue scuffles?"

Kamaria noticed when Roho looked back behind him and became curious. Was he not a wanderer like her? Did he leave someone behind, or perhaps, was he left behind, or forced to leave? The lioness, worried that her company might quickly change his mind, followed after him and took a seat nearby. She was careful not to sit to close as to keep from any uncomfort that might stem because they did not know one another very well.
Unlike Roho's reaction, the site of the ocean, the crashing waves and the smell of salt water was rather reassuring to Kamaria. This place had been her home for the time she had been wounded and it proved to be a beautiful site during all her nights alone. She found the view absolutely stunning. As the wind ruffled Kamaria's fur, the lioness shut her eyes and enjoyed it. When she opened them, she noticed that Roho seemed rather uncomfortable. The lioness could not help but smile, "It is not the most common spot for a pride, is it? But many lions have managed to live here.. I have not met any, but I have heard great things about them." She smiled, holding in a light giggle to Roho's reaction.
When Roho said that they would be wanderers together, Kamaria smiled. So they would, indeed be travelling together. This caused the rogue to smile and she nodded. But when Roho brought up her scars, the lioness' smile soon disappeared and she released a sigh. Her gaze shifted and she looked back towards the waves, "I was searching for the mistweavers.. My mother came from there.."

Roho looked at Kamaria as she mentioned a pride. So...lions had decided to make this sticky and rather uncomfortable land their home? Well it certainly wasn't a place for him and judging by Kamaria, no longer a place for her either. Shifting a bit uncomfortably Roho sighed and watched as wave upon wave crashed onto the shore. The water's attempt to swallow more land was almost how Kiamba felt. No matter how hard he tried and pushed he couldn't get himself out of the rut he kept finding himself in.
At the mention of anothe pride Roho tilted his head slightly as he turne dhis attention back to Kamaria. "The Mistweavers? I've never heard of them. Do you have any idea where they might be?"

Kamaria shook her head once again. "I have absolutely no idea where they are and if all the stories that my mother told me held any truth, then I doubt that I will be able to find them.." She sighed once again, but when she had finished speaking, she lifted her weary form and stretched carefully. Her wounds were healed over and no longer was her fur tinted red from the blood that once stained her.
As Kamaria finished stretching, she looked back once more towards where she had come and smiled. "I think it is about time I leave this place.. I have been graced by many friendly faces, but I need to find my place.."
The beautiful lioness had spent weeks in the sand, feeling sorry for herself and crying herself to sleep. She had hardened and become bitter, but in the company of someone so like her, she had been given hope and a drive to become better. Shifting her gaze back to her new companion, she smiled broader and nudged her head forward, "Let us no longer look back, but instead beside us at our new company.."
