Setting: Its winter and its a lovely day by a frozen lake in a nature with a nice amount fresh snow on the ground, perfect for playing in.Delta fiddled with her mittens, it was FREEZING outside of the warm car. She wished she hadn't told mum to go away, at least not until Arith arrived. But she had been to nervous, after all, she hadn't seen Arith in about a year! I wonder what he has been up to... she thought to herself. *PLONK* Delta's thoughts were stopped in their tracks as a large amount of snow slipped out of one of the tree branches and landed on her head, sending a cold chill right through her. "Cold, Cold, COLD!" she yelped as she jumped around shaking all the snow off her jacket and beanie, she should have worn ear warmers, but they looked so daggy... Deciding not to wait for Arith under the tree's Delta made her way back towards the picnic area by the road, she would wait by one of the benches there and it would give her a chance to put down her heavy bag and her Ice skates. I wonder if Arith looks any different, I don't think I look any different. I haven't even grown a full inch since we last talked. Idly passing the time her mind wandered around how thing may have changed. Hopefully they would still be the best of friends and he hadn't changed personality.

Arith stared through the window of the back seat, face squished up against the window as if doing so would will the car to get there faster. He was excited, he hadn't seen Delta in a long time. He wondered how much she had changed and, idly, ran a hand through his hair. He was sure he looked loads different than when she had last seen him, maybe she wouldn't even recognize him, that would sure be crazy.
He looked around at a loud thump, chuckling softly as the white dragon crammed in the back of the large SUV bumped his head on the window. Konig, as he had decided to call him, wasn't used to the car and had taken to lurking in the trunk whenever he did ride within, though how he was fitting Arith didn't know.
"Alright, we are here."The car came to a stop in front of where they were to meet Delta. She put it in parking and unhooked her seatbelt, hopping out and moving around to open the trunk. Konig stared out at her for a few moment, as if waiting to make sure the car wouldn't start moving on it's own, before slowly climbing out.
Arith, barely waiting for it to come to a full sop, was already grabbing up his bag and sliding out of the car. They were finally here and he thought he saw Delta sitting on a bench."Delta!" Arith trotted towards her, slipping a bit on a few patches of slushy snow.

Delta daydreamed while she waited, thinking of things like how she would have to go back to lessons and dull things like that again now she was back... Then she saw the big shiny black SUV pull in, that wasn't what Arith's mum's car used to look like... Oh great now I'm going to get kidnapped delta shuddered uncontrollably then took a deep breath, that was stupid nobody was going to kidnap her- Arith?... A lanky boy with black and white fur had leaped out of the car. He looked so different! Arith saw her and headed in her direction and called out her name, it WAS him. "Arith?! Wah!" She half-whispered, he was more than a whole foot taller than her. Delta felt like she must look a fool just standing there gawking at him with nothing intelligible to say apart from random noises that indicated '?!'. "Uh... you, got a new car?" she finally managed to pull herself together. "Its very shiny, and... black?" and there she went back again, back to looking and sounding like a fool. Delta frowned at herself, even though Arith was taller, had cooler hair and a different car it didn't mean he was different. He was obviously still clumsy as she had almost slipped in the slush. Thinking of that delta grinned, he couldn't be that much different. "So lanky-legs, what have you been up to in my absence, not too much trouble?"

Delta didn't appear to have changed mcuh, she still looked pretty much how he had remembered her. He quirked a brow at her and glanced abck at the car. "Yeah, we borrowed it cause Konig wouldn't fit in the other one..Oh!" He then remembered that Delta didn't know he had his dragon! With a grin he spun and ran a few paces forward. "Konig, come meet Delta!"
The dragon was hiding out behind the car, his nose planted on the ground and sniffing at the funny smelling snow. When he heard Arith call him he looked up. He hurried forward as the horn of the car honked, Mia's attempt at getting the dragon to get out from behidn her, and to get Arith's attention as she waved goodbye and drove off. Konig watched the noisy machine roll off as he trotted forward, turning back to bump hs head into Arith as he stopped beside him.
Arith patted the white's head and looked back at Delta."Look, it's my dragon! He hatched not that long ago and we got to bring him home, isn't it cool!"

Nope, Arith was still Arith. "Konig? Whats a Konig?" It sounded like some kind of heavy machinery, but apparently Arith wanted her to come see it. Delta wasn't really into machines, but Arith seemed so excited that she didn't want to upset him. Delta grinned back "Alright, Alright I'm coming!" she jogged after Arith. Then she saw 'the Konig' it was Arith's Dragon! Delta's eyes widened, she had never seen a proper dragon before, only the eggs and her mini-dragons. Unsure of what to Delta stepped towards Konig smiling "Hello Konig, I'm Delta, Arith's friend..." "Ahh Arith your so lucky! He's so cool! You both even color coordinate!" she grinned and looked at Arith and his dragon side by side, they really did contrast well. "My egg still hasn't hatched, but we moved into the new house and we have the dragons room almost ready." "But anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!" she beamed and ran up to Arith and gave him a big hug. "So much has happened since I last saw you it seems."

Konig looked up at Arith then towards the girl, who seemed perhaps excited to see him? Or maybe happy, but it was good. His maw pulled back in something akin to a smile and he stepped towards her, bumping his head against her knee before sitting back and staring up at her.
Arith chuckled at this."He likes ya. We color coordinate?"He looked down at himself, then down at the White, one ear flicking back in slight confusion, though he shrugged it off."Well it will hatch, then you will have your dragon! I bet it'll be awesome too, like huge, maybe with 10 legs."He nearly drifted off into more thoughts of the outrageous dragon when, taken aback, he was hugged.
"Oh, uhh, thanks?"The tips of his ears turned red and he glanced down at Konig, who just stared back with his lopsided dragon grin.

Delta chuckled at the dragon's attempt at a smile and then slighlty worried she accepted the knee-headbutt. "Nice to meet you too" she said as she patted the dragon on his crest. "Yeah, like how his white reflects your white and contrasts the black?" Delta rolled her eyes, boys and their lack of color knowledge. Arith's thoughts about how her dragon would look worried her she didnt think that was how her dragon was meant to look, but who knows.. there had been mix-ups before. "Oh no not huge with ten legs... That would be scary! I want me and my dragon to get along..." As they talked a snowflake fell on Delta's nose, then hundreds more began to fall. Delta looked around smilling. The snow falling on the tree's was so pretty, and it also gave her an idea. "Snowball fight!!!" she grinned as she packed a ball of snow into her hands and tossed it straight towards Arith.

"Oh, it does?" Arith's gaze drifted down to Konig again, one corner of his mouth pulling back unsure. "Err, yeah, I guess so?" He really didn't have any idea what she was talking about. "Yeah, I guess you wouldn't want so many legs, might look like them centipede bugs. You wouldn't get along with a giant centipede?" His head cocked slightly to one side, an ear flicking back as he looked at her.
Snow started to fall down on and around them and, looking up, Arith watched the small flakes drift downwards, rubbing his nose with one hand. At her shout he turned, though didn't manage to duck completely out of the way and was caught in the side of the head with the snow ball. He fell on his rump, having lost his balance, but quickly pulled himself up and packed together his own snow ball before lobbing it back at Delta.
Konig, surprised by the sudden flying balls of snow, quickly dropped down and slunk away, nose plowing the snow aside as he crawled away on his belly. Feeling he was far enough away he crawled in a tight circle, forming a slight inward dip in the snow to hide within, showing only his wings and the top bits of his body as he peered warily over at the two dog children.

Delta shuddered at the thought of a giant centipede, creepy crawly bugs made her squeamish. Every time there was a spider in her room she would always have to get her mum to get a jar to take it outside. "No I most definitely would not get along with a giant centipede. I want a dragon that is hug-able." She grinned as the snowball hit a direct-hit into the side of Ariths face. "Score!!' she giggled and jumped in the air letting her childishness show. But she was distracted by her victory and did not see Arith's return fire and copped the snowball right between the eyes and was sent tumbling back into a large pile of snow. "Oof! Cold!" she yelped as she jumped back up and shook the snow out of her fur. "You are so dead!" Delta raced around behind the pile of snow and ducked down, hoping it would provide her with a little protection while she built up a stash of snowballs ready to throw. Once she had a pile going, she stopped making snowballs and got ready to throw again, giggling as she saw Konig slithering away from the fight. "Your dragons a bit of a scaredy-cat!" she play taunted as she let fly another snowball in Arith's direction.
