Shigure yawned in the early morning light as Paprika pranced beside him fluffing her hair.
"Where do you get your energy from?"
He tilted his head to look towards her with sleep filled eyes, his hair falling just slightly into his face. His kimono looking like its about to fall off from a lack of a good tie around the waist.
"When you are beautiful father you must act that way. Being a groggy grumpy gills in the morning is not how one acts beautiful."
Paprika flicked her mane then pranced ahead towards the river glistening in the morning's bright light. Her hoof beats were light and her steps were graceful though laden with the morning dew that clung to her from the bright green grass that was all around them.
"So what are we doing today Pop?"

Mornings were wonderful times as far as Momiji was concerned. The sun was bright, the birds were singing, and people were waking up. Yes all and all it was a wonderful time to be alive. And speaking of people...that sounded like Shigure.
He poked his head around the corner then nickered happily. It was Shigure...but who was that with him? She was cute but kinda young for his cousin. Momi got a faint disapproving look on his face, he knew Shigure liked younger fillies but really...that one looked young enough to be his daughter...still it was bad to be rude epically first thing in the morning!
"Good morning Shigure! It's it lovely out today? Hear the birds singing??" The young stallion perked his ears as he smiled happily, " Have you seen Toruh or Yuki by any chance??"

Shigure lifted his eyes to see Momiji he smiled wide. It had been so long since he had seen any from his herd. "Well if it isn't little Momiji! You and Paprika with all that energy in the morning.....not that it has to be morning for you to be full of energy...No I'm afraid you are the first of the herd I've seen for awhile,...I've been a bit busy..."
"So this is Momiji!!" Paprika said twitching her ears in what seemed to be anticipation and great interest. "I've herd all about you! Your nothing like what I expected! So exciting that I'm finally meeting some of our herd!" Paprika approached Momiji looking him up and down. "Some more of that weird cloth stuff alright." Paprika said before nibbling on a piece of Momiji clothes.
"Which I hope to find some for you soon! It'salways bothered me you walking around naked." Shigure said shaking his head.
