This is Aekea. It lies within Gaia's territory, but was agreed to be a place of no fighting. You come here to get healed, restock supplies, relax, or whatever you want. Nurses gather here, so this is the place to find them.

However this is only the streets. It's a good place to RP while not in any certain place, but still in Aekea.

"Hm," thought Kaki while packing his bags for a trip. "What is the President think she is doing?! This war is futile." Kaki Then finished packing his bags, and headed for the front door. "Well, Aunt Zen, I'm headed for the Isle of Gaia. I'll have messengers sent when I reach Gambino."

"I love you hun. Try your best to prevent this war. You know well that you parents will be in the middle if you don't," said his aunt.

"That's why I must do everything possible. I may go to Barton Town after the council before returning home. Goodbye Aunt," with that Kaki walked out the door into the streets of Aekea.

When he got into the streets he noticed the other teenagers playing. "How I wish that war hadn't happened," he thought to himself resisting the urge to jump into the game. He is only 62 after all. He lowered his head and frowned.

Baynes, at one time he could have been considered a legend, but now he was simply seen as an old man whose prime had long since passed him by. Still this was a time for opportunity and perhaps even someone like him could regain some fame.

The face of the aged warrior seems to stare at the sky before going back to the city in front of him. He had been near here before, but that was before he had gotten old as everyone seemed to point out. Still why should it bother him what everybody else was saying? He was about to get his second chance or at least so he was thinking.

Kaki decided not to waist anymore time and head down the road. When he had got to the gate he noticed two things: A farewell party, and an old man entering the town. He didn't wish to walk through the crowd, that wanted to wish him farewell, because he was too humble. So, he decided to talk to the familiar face.

"Lt. Baynes, is that you? Why have you come to Aekea?" asked Kaki.

He had been looking at the group wondering exactly why they were there, but didn't bother asking any questions. Finally he hears a voice speaking to him. Somewhat familiar, but all voices seemed that way after it seemed you had met everyone.

"The secluded life is not as exciting as what I thought it would be." He had been looking away before turning to look at the person speaking to him with a slight smirk. "I suppose the field of battle continues to call for me and I continue to answer it." Probably not an answer some self-righteous person would be looking for, but no sense in lying about it.

"If you are looking for battle, why are you in a neutral zone?" asked Kaki confused. "There must be an alternative reason for you coming. Let us go out of the crowds sight and talk." Then Kaki showed the way back behind a building.

He followed knowing that he had confused this person. "You are correct. Still one man alone can not defeat an entire army on his own. I wanted to learn more about this Republic from people who I believed would tell me the truth. I had heard this was a neutral area and decided to search here first."

"There are many foes in this land, for they to can come and go freely. Careful to whom you speak. I for one am not the enemy as you know for a fact. We can talk, but I must leave soon for Gambino. You should come along if you wish to fight."

He looks at him curiously for a little while. "I am viewed as being too old to be of use. Most armies see it as a weakness." His voice had turned somewhat solemn like one whom had been offended and could not manage to act out upon it.

He raises his head again to see the other person's expressions and to look him in the eyes. He cared not for pity, but he had to know if he was seen as nothing more than a broken man to this person. "I also am in search of one who will see through it and allow me to aid them in their endeavors. So far I have found no one who has managed to do that."

"I see you as wise, and one who possesses great skill no longer taught to the young. I believe in dieing with honor. There is no glory for a warrior that dies by himself in an empty house. Come with me and if you die it shall be in honor," he inquired proudly.

As Kaki finished his speech, he saw a group of goblins entering the town. There leader was not a goblin herself. He didn't remark on this, because he was still waiting for the lieutenant to comply.

The answer seems to please him. If nothing else at least he was getting respect for what he had accomplished in the past. It was odd how little convincing a desperate man needed to hear. "I will aid in your endeavors, even if it means drawing my last breath."

Kaki smiled widely. "Why must you always sound so drab old man. Then we will head for Gambino now, correct? Perhaps we should skip the farewell crowed."

"I only speak the truth. To some that is 'drab', to others it is a common occurrence. I suppose we should skip this crowd. There has never been any sense in delaying yourself just to tell someone farewell."

In truth he had very little idea were to go from here. He had went into seclusion for more than a couple of years. Some spent sulking and others spent getting outraged at his treatment. Still he had managed to hear that Gambino was a base of operations for the Republic, so it seemed that it was the place to go.

Nokomi dismounted, three of her goblins immediatly rushed to get the reigns, wrestling over one another. She was headed straight for a small supply store, when an old man got in her way((not any of you guys)). She grabbed him from the shoulder and tossed him aside, his frail body slamming into a woman and her children. "...Move...ancient...!", she hissed, not looking back at the elderly man. The other four goblins tailed her, sticking out their tongues and demonstrating other obscenities to the fallen geezer.
