The red leather bound book has a few mud prints from what appears to be a young dog on it. The pages are young and strong, empty of words but waiting for its tale. In the leather is stamped a single name, the hero of the story? Or the author of the tale? No one really knows, but on the cover it reads, Madden.

Time has passed, and your Herald is becoming fond of you and beginning to show affection. You two have grown closer, but that's not the only aspect of growing.
The Herald is maturing into a young child before your eyes. No longer dying and weak and no longer sexless, it now has beautiful angel white hair and dark blue eyes of unusual depth. You may have noticed that the Herald has been scratching and touching its back for a while, and now it's finally explained. The herald's wings have started to grow in.
How do you deal with the child's discomfort? Do you have any remedies to ease it? How does he/she react? How do the wings reflect the item given?

Personality: Ceron takes over protective father to a new level. Though he is responble Ceron feels lost without someone to nurture in some way and often takes it to a level that is beyond healthy. Because he never had a chance to just be him self Ceron tends to adapt who he is based on the person he's trying to care for. His likes, and dislikes, the ones that don't change, revolve around his family and his ablity to take care of them. If they grow apart or grow up Ceron has a hard time handling it.

Style: Ceron's style is cheap and comfortable. Cheap being the only requirment. Since he's always saving money for his family he has mostly ill fitting shirts and pants that are too big. He tends to dress in collared shirts and slacks because he likes all his clothes to be ready for work.
History: Ceron Garth was the oldest of four children, and his mother never was that interested in raising them. His mother was more interested in working hard and partying hard than raising for kids. So it was natural that Ceron just took over. He learned to cook, to change diapers and how to blow away the hurt from booboos. He chased away his fears of the dark because his little sister needed a monster chased away. Ceron grew up by never really being a kid and because of that he never truly found who he was. His personality became based on what people around him liked. Ceron needs someone to care for to define who he is. Even now with his siblings moved out he takes care of them. He went to a technical school to get an easy degree and now works as a computer technician, an easy job that allows him to rent a small home and give most of his paycheck to his siblings still in college. Sometimes the second oldest sibling tells him to start living his own life but Ceron can’t listen. He doesn’t know his own life.

[Lydia: The Caring Aunt]Lydia is closest to Ceron in age, though a good five years younger than Ceron, and actually his half sibling. She's the only one aware that Ceron isn't a full sibling like the rest of them. When she got older she took a more mother role to Ceron's father role but never managed to do what she truly wanted in setting Ceron free of himself. In the end she left to make her own life, and still pushes Ceron to find his own. With the comming of Madden Lydia is both overjoyed and saddened. With another child Ceron will continue his path but Madden is so cute Lydia adores him. [James: Uncle of a Different Times]James is a loving caring uncle. If he's around. James loves his brother and his new nephew of shorts but he has his own life and tends to get wraped up in it. He visits around the major holidays or if something big comes up but doesn't call much in the mean time. He really does love his family just gets wrapped up in today that he tends to forget yesterday. He never really noticed Ceron's need to care for others, but he never really pushed at his brother ether. [Carrie: The Replaced Baby]Carrie is the youngest of Ceron's siblings. She was very much the baby and it broke Ceron's heart when she grew up. Currently she's in college and is a little spoiled. Though she thinks Madden is cute she isn't use to being upstaged, especially since Madden doesn't even seem to realize he's doing so. She sometimes resorts to tantrums to get her way and Ceron easily surcums to her wishes. Madden though isn't as fond of her. [Brenda: The Failed Mother]Brenda stepped out of her children's lives a little after they arived. Lack of birth control funds made them all. When Ceron took over she quickly stepped out. Now with her first 'grandchild' she still is pretty distent. There is no desire for her to 'make amends' but if money is needed then Ceron is normally hit up at least once.

  West Highland White Terriers
More commonly known as Westies, are a breed of dog known for their spirited personality and brilliant white coat. They are friendly, good with older children, and thrive on lots of attention. Westies, like most terriers, have plenty of spirit for a dog their size. This breed is commonly recognised through its use as a mascot for Black & White (a brand of Scotch whisky), and on the packaging of Cesar brand dog food. Moreover, the West Highland White Terrier has appeared frequently in broadcast commercials, two examples being Mondo fruit drinks and Kraft Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese.
Appearance
They have bright, deep-set eyes, as dark as possible, with a penetrating gaze. The ears are small, pointed and erect, giving the animal an alert ready-for-anything look. They typically weigh about 15 to 20 lb (7.5–10 kg) and their average height is 11 in. (28 cm) at the withers. Their tails, typically naturally "carrot-shaped", should never be docked and are held upright. The tail should be between 5-6 inches. They also have deep chests, muscular limbs, a slightly convex skull, a short and a closely fitted jaw with scissors bite (lower canines locked in front of upper canines, upper incisors locked over lower incisors.) Their teeth generally appear quite large for the size of the dog. Their ears should be held more or less upright, but not pointing straight up; it is essential for any dog to carry themselves properly when showing. Westies have a very strong bone structure for their size.They have a soft, dense undercoat and a rough outer coat, about 2 in. long, that requires regular grooming. Some Westies have "brandy stains" on their backs and/or feet, but this is undesirable in show/breeding specimens. The natural coat is of medium length and somewhat shaggy like that of a Cairn Terrier. Many enthusiasts prefer the "lion cut" where the fur around the face is left long like a lion's mane, but the rest of the fur is cut short.Their paws are slightly webbed, which one can notice by trying to pass their finger between the dog's toes.
Temperament
The breed, descended from working terriers, has a lot of energy, tenacity, and aggression towards its prey, which was originally the rabbit and other smaller animals, such as squirrels. This history has endowed the Westie with a bold temperament that leads many to call them "big dogs in a little body." They are always alert and consider themselves guard dogs, although their size prevents them from providing any real intimidation. As with any dog, if seriously irritated or provoked they may respond with a growl, though this is rare. If the tail is down and ears are back, keep away. They may be eating or chewing a favourite toy. They are very possessive of their belongings, master and food. They are great companion dogs and get along with other animals, although care should be taken when introducing them to other domestic pets, such as cats. They also are compatible with children. Since Westies were originally bred as hunting dogs, they need to have room to run and play. They are not recommended as apartment dogs. If traveling they make great companions, since they can adjust easily to new situations and people and because of their small size. Westies will appreciate two or three walks each day. They are very energetic but tire and need to take several naps per day. Like all dogs, the Westie responds better to love and gentleness than to cruelty. As with most terriers, harsh training methods are often met only with stubbornness. Westies are good with children, the elderly, and the disabled, and love to play.
History
Westies are descended from Cairn Terriers, who occasionally whelped white puppies naturally, and Scottish Terriers; who also occasionally produced white offspring. White offspring from other British Terriers such as the Bedlington Terrier and Dandie Dinmont Terrier were occasionally introduced to the bloodline for desired characteristics, but this practice generally stopped in the 1850s. Some sources credit Colonel Edward Donald Malcolm and his kin of Poltalloch, in the Argyll region of western Scotland as an originator of this breed in the 1800s. Other sources credit the 8th Duke of Argyll (Chieftain of Clan Campbell) as an originator of the breed. However, there may have been some cooperation between the two gentlemen. It may have taken as long as a hundred years of selective breeding to produce all the desired qualities. Their white coat made them highly visible when hunting on the Scottish moors and easily distinguished them from their game (this was an extremely important factor because hunters sometimes mistook brown dogs for foxes, and shot them). They also possess a sturdy frame. Originally the breed was known as the Poltalloch Terrier (after the name of Malcolm's home); they were also known as the Roseneath Terrier (after the name of Argyll's home; see Rosneath), White Roseneath Terrier, and at the end of the 19th century, briefly as a white variety of the Scottish Terrier.

Fallen MessengerI found this...poor child. It needed my help and when my new puppy, a westie, went to it they...combined or something. I hope he turns out okay. Messenger RebornI went to check on the kid and he...changed. He looks older, and a lot healthier, I'm glad. Cute kid, geuss he's staying with me now. I'm glad to have a kid back in the house.
