A bit exhausted by the course of events that happened over the week, Rohan couldn't help but think that he needed to vent out his frustrations and stress.. Life was difficult, and there wasn't enough to enjoy in life.
As he wandered among the forest, he was glad for the dim light, that the trees above provided.. Because the sun was glaringly bright during this time of day, The trees above blocked out the blinding rays, and allowed enough light to penetrate the forest. Added on to the fact that it was a cool day made it all the better. The silence allowed him to sort his thoughts out, as he relaxed against a tree.
Apparently, winter was fast approaching within the months.. And the wind held a slightly chilly bite to it. Of course, Rohan didn't find it cold.. But he would probably worry when the sight of first snow would fall.

A different Soquili, a different point of view. Rohan might be dogged by thoughts that life lacked things to enjoy, but a short distance away through the trees, a mare was standing that, if anything, felt the exact opposite.
"Amary, my dear, you are TOO amazing, did you know that? And sure excellant taste in flowers!" Laughing softly, the bright magenta mare stood over her reflection, one wing gently adjusting the dark rose that sat tucked against her ear. Each adjustment was minute, but for Amary, details were everything and the placement of this one flower could do a lot for potential first impressions.
Not that she was ever concerned, of course; if ever a mare existed that felt she had a right to be vain, it was this one. But why worry about details when she didn't have to? She knew she was lovely, others knew she was lovely, and that made her happy.
But having someone around to acknowledge that fact wouldn't hurt, either; that in mind, the mare finally folded back her wing and turned away from the pond, looking around her at the trees. There ought to be someone out there just as alone as she was, so she ought to go out and find them so that they could be not alone together. Brilliant plan!

While he was wandering, another mare up ahead would be found prettying herself up. As he continued on deeper into the forest, He was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a clearing up ahead. Maybe there would be a lake or something up ahead.. A drink would be nice.
But as he turned the corner, The sight of a bright winged magenta mare caught him off-guard.. ".." Momentarily speechless, he couldn't think of anything to say. He hadn't been expecting anyone afterall.. So he was partially at fault for assuming that nobody else would be there, How idiotic. Once he managed to regain his composure in all of the 3 seconds, he could.. He noticed that the mare seemed to be looking around for somebody or something.
Her color contrasted greatly against the shades of green of the forest.. But her beauty appeared to be stunning. "Now.. What is a mare like that doing alone here?" As he pondered the thought slowly..
But what the heck? It wouldn't hurt to say Hi. "Hey there." He called out, with a friendly tone of voice with a slightly sheepish expression on his face.

At the 'hey there', Amary's expression shifted into a pleased smile. There, someone WAS there, just as she expected! That just went to show you, optimism went a long way!
A VERY long way. As the stallion stared at her, she took a moment to size him up as well; she had to admit, she hadn't seen any stalluions like him before. Short hair, but it accented his bone structure; brown hair in general, but with exotic green markings all over him that perfectly matched his intensely green eyes. Interesting, very interesting...and he wasn't a wimp, either. Nice muscles.
All of this she took in in mere seconds, then lifted her head slightly to look the stallion in the eyes, giving him her flirtiest smile. "Hey there yourself!"

Surprised by the mare's familiar greeting, "What's a mare like you doing here by yourself?" Rohan inquired with a light note to his voice. He felt the urge to ask if the mare was safe in choosing to travel alone.. But somehow, He didn't think anyone or anything would dare to attack a mare such as the likes of her. But it wouldn't hurt to know why she was here.
And her attitude was contagious. Her light hearted yet flirtacious manner could not helped but be spread around. She didn't seem at all disturbed to find another soquili within the forest, or a stallion either. In a few easy strides, he found himself within close distance of the mare.. And what he did not see before, He saw now. With a discreet glance of masculine interest, he was able to examine the mare before him for a moment. His expression did not betray him.
With mocking suspicion in his eyes, "By any chance.." He began, "Dear god, I hope not." As he flashed the mare a smile. ".. That you are you just a figure of my imagination?" He said in jest, as his light green eyes fell upon the mare before him.

Raising a brow at the stallion's rather unoriginal inquiriy, Amary allowed herself to giggle, shaking her head at him in mock-dismay. "What's a mare like me doing in a place like this, huh? Honestly, I don't know whether I should be insulted or pleased at that question, Mister, because there are so many angles I could take! For example," with an amused look, Amary closed the distance between herself and the stallion a bit more, coming as close as a few inches away before she began to walk in a circle around him, her attitude one of breezy consideration.
"I could assume you're referring to me as a delicate blooming flower and should therefore be in a garden or gently rolling meadow rather than this tangled woodland; in that case, it would be a compliment. But you might be implying that I'm a fragile and child-like, unable to be out on my own, which is an insult; you might ALSO be implying that I'm weak and unable to fend for myself, which suggests a great lack of faith in my abilities to keep myself safe."
Finishing her circling, Amary came to a stop right in front of Rohan, her expression amused and challenging both. "But because we just met and I like to assume the best from people, I'm going to assume it's a compliment. And I dunno...I AM a bit of a vision, so you could be hallucinating; then again, you might have been a very good boy lately and earned some karma points. Who's to say?"
Winking, Amary tossed back her curls, giving Rohan a look that practically oozed mischief. Subtle she wasn't, but why go for subtle when she could have fun?

If he had to say so himself, he rather liked this mare. She was confident and expressed her opinions well. She was intelligent.. He had to give her credit for that. But he had to wonder. A delicate blooming flower? No, she was more like a rose. Beautiful.. and crushingly, dangerous. He thought to himself. Like a rose, she would lure all to it's beauty only to cause them pain.
Gazing at the mare in front of him, "I'm glad you take my words as a compliment." He remarked lazily as a smile spreading across his face, as the mare halted in front of him. There was no mistake. She was, without a doubt, challenging him. While a gentlemen backed down ignoring the challenge, considering themselves to be above the other.. Rohan certainly was no gentlemen and would never be.
"Suppose if I was a good boy.." He began, with a sly grin. "Than good boys wouldn't have any fun, would they?" As he leaned towards the mare, whispering the last part in her ear. Giving the mare time for his words to sink in, before pulling his head back.
"What are you planning?" He murmured, his gaze and attention focused on the mare before him.

"THIS time." Correcting the stallion with a quick rejoinder, Amary emphasized the first word as she gave the stallion a grin. So he could give as well as take, that was a positive thing. After all, while it was fun to get prim stallions to loosen up, it DID make things much more enjoyable for her if she had an amenable mind to work with. Or at the very least, it sped things up.
Though from the look of things, this stallion was moving fast enough on his own. As the stallion leaned close to whisper, Amary tilted her head just quickly enough for her cheek to brush against Rohan's muzzle, a teasing gesture more than anything else. He was a bold one, this stallion...which meant he was sensible, thank goodness.
Smiling in a teasing fashion, Amary straightened up a bit and gave Rohan a piercing look, bringing her own muzzle to HIS ear as she replied. "Well, I never said you were a good boy NOW, just that you might have been a good boy previously. But karma points aren't any good if you don't spend them, wouldn't you think?" As she spoke, Amary deliberately nuzzled at the stallion's cheek, preferring to let actions speak as well as words. "And I don't know...I never like to plan things. Spontanaity is so much more enjoyable, don't you think?"

This time? Meaning she had been like this in the past? But he didn't find himself surprised by that little information. A mare like her was guarenteed to have many lovers. It was only to be expected. The past held no relevance to him, because there was only the present now. And he intended to enjoy it.
The mare's actions were alluring and tempting he realized, as he gave a chuckle. And she did not seem to be opposed to his actions nor him to hers. She was a daring creature if not bold. But it's what part of her that makes her so attractive. Rohan thought silently, only to himself.
And the mare's teasing smile did not go un-noticed. However, the feel of her breath against his ear elicited emotions that were long forgotten. After all, he did not have someone else for a long long time now. If only a feeling of companionship, he would embrace it. And her nuzzles only served to make his wants greater. "I suppose.. That it could be considered enjoyable." His voice low, as he brought his mouth to the mare's own.. however only for a few seconds. He did not think that she would not reciprocate since she had been sending the same message to him for the last 15 minutes.
"Is this what your interested in?" His voice roguish, his expression sly.

Some mares might be put off by directness of the amorous sort; others might desire it, but clam up in the face of actual demonstration of such interest. Amary was neither of those types of mares, loving nothing more than stallions that knew what they wanted, what she wanted, and wasting little time waffling about it. Consequently, Rohan's bold move was nothing if not delightful to the mare, who leaned into his gesture, bringing her body up against his and wrapping a wing around his neck to hold him close.
"Mmm...I think that that might be a distinct possibility, my friend. And wouldn't you know it, we're all alone." This after a deliberate glance left, right, and back before Amary returned her gaze to the stallions. "And I don't know about you, I'd say that gives one ideas."

Hours later.. Rohan found himself strangely relaxed. The stress and frustration he had been feeling had been allowed no outlet until now..
With a curious glance to the mare beside him, "What are you planning on doing now?" He asked although he knew that she had no obligation to answer. Because they were both strangers, their actions weren't one of consequence nor an actual relationship. There were no strings involved in such cases like these. It was purely an action of enjoyment and pleasure on both sides.
Slightly hesitant, Rohan's emerald green eyes focused on the bright magenta maybe before him, As he shifted his weight over to one hoof. ".. May I ask you your name before you leave?" Hsi tone inquiring. He didn't know when she would leave or where to, but he could at least have her name. If nothing more, it would be nice if he could consider this mare a friend.

"Mmmm....I haven't decided yet, to be honest. But I prefer to keep things loose; that way I don't feel obligated to follow through on something if something else more interesting comes along, or get disappointed if a plan falls through." A pretty decent system, if she did say so herself.
At the moment, Amary was standing, leaning gracefully against a tree and carefully positioning the dark roses in her mane and tail; somehow, those roses had managed to get dislodged, but she was more than willing to take the time to fix them. Besides, her stallion friend likely didn't mind, if his interested expression was any indication; nevermind it was more polite than anything else, attention was attention, and it was nice he was still attentive. Sometimes stallions simply took off after they'd had their fun, after all, and while that wasn't something she necessarily objected to, having a stallion that wanted to chat later wasn't common.
Though she had to laugh at the almost hesitant way he asked for her name. "What, you expect me to dash off so soon? Hate to break it to you if you want me to wander off, but I don't necessarily work that way, sweetie. Though honestly, what kind of stallion asks a mare's name without providing his own? That's just bad manners, for shame."
Tsking at the stallion in mock upset, Amary plucked another rose up off the ground and leaned back to tuck it into her tail. This stallion had proved he was entertaining; if he was amenable, she saw nothing wrong with keeping the spirit of fun alive a bit longer in conversation.

"Smart plan." He said, commenting on her words. Attractive and intelligent was a rare combination. She didn't make promises nor did she lead one on to thinking there might be something more.. Or maybe that was just the case with him? "Whatever happens, happens." He thought to himself in an indifferent manner. Much things didn't affect him.
But damn him, Her intelligence was just like that of a stallion. If he didn't know better, he would think she was one. but than again.. it was hard to imagine, seeing as how she was a mare.
With his eyes still on the mare before him, He circled around her once in a lazy fashion. He wasn't one to laze about, but he liked to stay active even if it was just a little bit. Her reply to his question was quite unexpected however, but it caused him to burst in to laughter. A few moments later, "Knowing most mares, it's quite surprising that you didn't." With a leisurely grin, as he raised an eyebrow. "But I can't say I'm not glad. It's nice to have company." Although the roses suited the mare, it was amusing to see her tuck them into her mane. "Mares.." He said, as he shook his head, softly tsking her.
"Should a stallion be introducing himself first?.. Society rules." As he feigned disappointment. But it wasn't like he followed them either. Although it was QUITE fun to mock them. "Forgive my bad manners if you will.." As he slowly paused for a moment. "The name is Rohan. What's yours?"

While there was certainly something predatory in being circled, it was a variation of predatory that Amary, at least, very much enjoyed, tilting her head and preening slightly so that the stallion would be able to suitably admire her from all angles as he circled. Granted, he ought to know what a delightful creature she was by now already, but vanity was a funny thing.
Though he didn't seem the type to mind. Indeed, if anything he was showing the proper spirit, spirit she had to poke at with a grin upon his 'mares' comment. Giving him a teasing grin, she fired back, "What, you mean after all this you're telling me you were expecting a stallion? Well, YOU must have been surprised now, mustn't you?"
Sticking out her tongue playfully, Amary then proceded to bob her head in a slight curtsey at the introduction, blowing past the social commentary with a laugh. "The name, huh? Well, it's nice to meet you, Rohan; I'm Amary, and so far, it's been a pleasure, I'm sure."
