I was looking in a magazine today at my school for a report that I needed to do, and I found this.
http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g123/thunder-bunny/Untitled-1-1.jpg (I don't know if it'll show or not....)
Scary because of the text talk, sad because of the translation at the bottom, and the whole thing is funny all together.

Kill me. Now.
Actually, no, don't bother. Let's get these monsters and make like Buffy.

What?! People actually use the carrot sign ("^") to say "up?" That is a math symbol that raises numbers a power on a computer or calculator. (E.g., "2^2" is "2²," or two squared.)

Heh. Oh how the world has fallen when pictures like that are actually used on commercials and ads. It's just like the Cingluar (sp?) commercial, no?
I think I will start tutoring students that come into my workplace a little more strictly on their writing. Some of the essays are starting to look like that. 3nodding

If I were a mother and had a child leave me a note like that, I'd never let them anywhere near my car or car keys.

Keren If I were a mother and had a child leave me a note like that, I'd never let them anywhere near my car or car keys. I agree. ... No, wait, I wouldn't know what it means.... biggrin

If I had a child that did that, I wouldn't let them touch my car or my keys, along with their computer, for a while.
(I'd probably give them a little grammar lesson, too.)

Should my kids do that, I would have failed in all my teachings to get them to be SMART. I swear, if I didn't know that they need lives, I'd homeschool. The school I teach in is crumbling.
My kids are allowed to drive, and both of them have motorcycles. They don't need to ask. All they do is call me and tell me where they are.

That's pretty funny, but the thought that someone would write that makes me shiver
