Sure, I make a good chunk of change... But I spend too much of it on games...
Lets do some Math...
Since last week
Guitar Hero III ($100) Pirates ($30) Loco Roco ($15) Stranglehold Special Edition ($70) Call of Duty 4 ($60) Silent Hill Orgins ($30)
Roughly $305 without tax...
I think I have a problem....

But anyways...it just shows that this is a good year for video games, not for your wallet. Consider Crysis, Haze, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy, Assassin's Creed, the Orange Box and more, and it's pretty clear why games like Super Smash Bros. were delayed until February. And on the same note, Rock Band is quite a bit more than Guitar Hero in total. Good thing Guitar Hero guitars work for it.

There are several things I'm buying within this week and next week alone that isn't even game related!! They are: 1. Beatles Help! DVD Bought 2. The McCartney Years 3-Disk DVD 3. Spice Girls Greatest hits w/DVD 4. The Three Stooges Collection Vol. 1

You most definitely don't have a problem considering your good taste of games.

Well how much percentage of your paycheck was that? Or savings account or checking? Somehting around that area. If it's a high number, then you have a problem. If it's not that bad, then eh. How often do you spend that kinda money on games? If it's a lot, then just give yourself a monthly budget for vide games. Use only the budget money, if you exceed...figure out a way to discipline yourself.
But here's the thing: If you have to ask others to figure out if you have a spending problem...that's probably a very good indicator that you've got one.

That's pretty hardcore, Viking. I wish I was able to spend that kind of money on games. But any time I get paid, it all goes to bills.

Screw Black Friday. I looked and those "deals" on cool stuff (i.e. PSPs or laptops or PS3s or 360s) aren't "deals" at all. Bah. Black Friday is so overrated.

Most XP computers cost more than Vista computers though... I have my sights set on a computer, I just need to get around $900 in cash and the rest can go on my Best Buy card.
