All around you opens the skyline of Durem. The four sides of the large platform are open to the air, with pillars at the corners to support the higher floors. A thin railing fences the area in, but does nothing to stop the fairly strong wind that blows through.
At the center of the room is a strange pool, fed by a stream that seems to flow from between two small trees. Trees. Growing in the middle of the room. They were small, barely saplings, their roots splayed out across the stone floor. But they were vibrant and green, looking alive despite the fact there was no soil.
Interesting.

Quinn held a hand to her mouth. She thought she might be sick. A cool breeze tickled her face and she calmed enough to look around. She could see the Durem skyline, the pillars of the clocktower, the trees... THE TREES?! In a clocktower? What was going on here?

When Chronos appeared with the others, it took him a moment to orient himself, and he gazed around in wonder. "How...?" he asked softly, reaching as if to see what magic was making this happen.

After appearing on the tower, Morgan looked around, careful not to look over the edge. Heights didn't bother her when she was flying, but right now her wings were hidden and being high up made her a little nervous. She stared at the trees and water, clearly surprised. "Wow, how on earth?" She asked, expressing her inner thoughts outloud.

She was thankful that she wasn't afraid of heights. The two trees caught her attion, she decided to get a closer look, Why were they growing on the top of a clock tower? She slowly approached the strange trees.

Putting a hand to her stomach, Nai takes several minutes to quell her nausea. As soon as she has collected herself, she looks around, and does a real nice double-take. She wanders cautiously up to the pool's edge and gives it a sniff, also taking a closer look at the tiny little trees.

Zydeco fell on her butt, as usual, from just suddenly appearing. The cold breeze was very relaxing, but the tickle of pain still echoed from her leg. She wouldn't be able to walk around much but that didn't seem to matter...yet. Hopefully this time the adventure won't end up in another hole, she was getting very VERY sick of holes as of late, and another one would just make her flip out. She turned from the city, because the flowing pattern of clear water ehcoed across her face, distracting her.
She turned around to view the trees, the pool and the streams connecting them all. "Intriguing." She gasped out in surprise, she had never seen such things. It was all to tranquil, and the Kuns mentioned didn't appear to be around anywhere.

Karasu smirked, only wobbling a little at the strange feeling of being teleported.
"The water was spilling over the edges of the tower when I got here." She walked over and touched the surface of the little pond. "I don't know what she did, but Ullue was able to contain it. I have no idea where the excess water is going though." She laughed quietly.

Leila's view spun around and saw various shades of green and blue ... wait ... they were in a clocktower?
Well no one ever said that humans weren't weird creatures.
"Well, this is an interesting perdicament isn't it?" she chuckled to herself.

Koniryu touched the trees. "These are not native," he said, sharply. "These are a Sabilasi variety..."

"Hopefully, it's going somewhere else and isn't just collecting in one big mass above us, waiting to drop." As he said that, Chronos looked up quickly, NOT putting it past Ullue in the slightest.
He'd seen that woman on stranger days...

Morgan moved closer to the water and the trees examing the roots. "You said something about Kun Kuns?" She asked, noting the absence of the energetic little faeries, aside from the ones that had come from the clearing with the rest of the group.

Zydeco chuckled with Rasu, at least someone seemed relax, it was a very welcomed feeling. She brought herself to stay in one place, even though it took every fiber of her being to do so. She so wanted to inspect the little sprouting trees and touch the pond, but some things she just couldn't allow. Besides at the moment, she wasn't really capable of going anywhere, she couldn't even get up from sitting.
So she sat, gaping at the scene unfolding around her.

This is quite intresting...She reached out one of her hands and touched the bark of one tree. It wiggled slighty and a odd feeling overtook K. There was some type of magic here.

Nai's ear swivels to face Koniryu as he states that the trees are from Sabilasi. "Bet that's where the water's going."
