SONTARANS The images below show the new Sontarans:   As you can see Martha will return as well, and meet Donna. mrgreen And Christopher Ryan will play the role of General Staal, the Sontaran Leader.

Nice! The abs might be a bit over-done, but other than that...

I've never seen the Sotarens before- but my favorite are the Daleks. They are just so... evil.
I've been renting the old seires and watching them- and I just got done with Genesis.

lupine_eyes I've never seen the Sotarens before- but my favorite are the Daleks. They are just so... evil. I've been renting the old seires and watching them- and I just got done with Genesis. I just watched that too. It's impressive how you can't tell the Daleks are made of wood, which they are. Daleks are my favorites as well. I can do a pretty good impersonation as well.

I miss the Black/ Silver costumes. Loved the SJA Sontaran discussion. mrgreen
As for the Daleks honestly I was just channel surfing when I saw a Dalek, and now I am on a Doctor Who guild, well two of them. Love almost all of the Dalek episodes, classic and modern, all but Evolution. The Daleks PWN all! EX-TER-MIN-ATE!!!! mrgreen

i never really got into the the manhatte(sp?) eps. they weren't really dalek, they were trying to change themselves which is agains dalek code, old style daleks rock too though, rather nifty wee things

i think it was just thlose four, weren't they supposed to be the "thinkers" of the dalek empire, sect of skara i think (sp?) cos the solider dalek in "dalek" killed himself after he realised that Rose's DNA was changing him

The sad part about that is that he couldn't do it without orders. If she didn't say "Do it" it would have spent the rest of it's life agonizing. And the reason it couldn't kill her is because she was apart of it. Note the "We killed them."

I think the best revived villain was The Master 3nodding
Don't get me wrong, Daleks are still big strong bad villains, but the Master was revived the best way plus he has a personality.
While Daleks only go around saying *Exterminate!" The Master had a sense of humor, after becoming Prime Minister in his meeting with the other officials. After gassing them one guy tells Saxon he's crazy while he looks back at him and just gives him the thumbs up. xp Priceless!
