The now adult male was sitting atop a large rock licking his fur groming himself in the sun. He looked over to a tree top where he had once meet a female lepoard. He took a deep breath before his atention was drawn to some grass movement. His ears perked up as he began to think he better hurry and get home soon. What if he had over stepp on someone territory or maybe it was that female? He laid there waiting his eyes glued to the grass. Then all the sudden a small rabbit hopped into a small clearing. He glared at it as it thought about going to catch it for being a nusence(sp?) for disturbing him.

 Chui growled, his hunger beginning to get to him. It'd been a while since he'd eaten, and being a young, growing leopard he was, he was famished. The brown leopard eyed the small rabbit, now sitting still beside a rock...grooming itself. He bared his teeth and pounced at it, pounding the dirt beneath his paw when it escaped.
"Get back here!" he yelled, and began to chase after it. "C'mon, you'll get eaten eventually! It's the whole circle of life thing...uhh...I think!" He stopped and blinked unsurely. Chui saw the little white fluffball jump into a clearing, and he smiled slightly, knowing it couldn't escape now that there'd be nothing he, as the predator had to dodge.
He followed after it, managing to jump and land with both his paws landing on the rabbit. "Gotcha!" he laughed in delight, then dug into his meal. He'd snapped its neck when he landed on it. Chui had yet to notice a pair of eyes before him. But...well, since he was finally getting his first meal in what felt like forever, anything but his meal mattered little to him.

The green eye of the mostly white cheetah softened instenly seeing this small being. He smiled a little knowing all to well of how importent finding meal where at such a young age.
"Masterfull." He said with a nod. "Don't think I could have done better." Though it was a lie since he was much older and more capable of doing this this other could not the little noe did not know or have to know it. Amile was always one to encourage other more then shoot the down no matter who or what they where.

The little leopard lifted his head, a small piece of meat hanging out of his maw. "Huh?" he asked cluelessly, as per usual. He stood up and walked over to the large, male cheetah before him with his meal between his two jaws. "Oh..sorry," he said after dropping the dead, half-eaten animal. "Did you want some" he asked with a smile. Chui was never a selfish one, and even if it was a small bit he could offer another, he'd take the chance.

"You go ahead I had a small bird not long ago." He said nodding a little. He then jumped down and moved over and smirked.
"You sure are a strong one go ahead and finish eatting i'll watch over you." He said as she sat down and wrapped his tail weakly around his paws.

Chui nodded and finished off his meal quickly, then buried the carcass as best he could, bowing his head in silence for a moment before resuming his normal...clueless, disposition. "I'm Chui, who're you?" he asked, his ears twitching. The young leopard's head tilted slightly, examining the large male that had offered to watch over him while he ate. "Is it normal for adults in the jungle to be so nice?" he asked. This would be the second time, by his count. Ajali being the first.

The male chuckled as he watched the young one.
"Well you see. I was once young like you and I had to look over myself and it was very hard cause...I was out there." He said looking out to the distant lands that lead to the pridelands and other terriotries.

The brown juve looked where the cheetah was looking and nodded in agreement. "Ooh! I was out there too! I just wanted to see green more often...and I saw this place and headed straight for it. It's much more pleasant than out there. Lots more shade and stuff to do." He laughed and bounded closer to Amile. "So...what's your name?" he asked. "And howcome you're all alone? The last adult I ran into said she had a family somewhere in here. Is it the same for you?"
He was naturally curious, but the onslaught of questions that usually came to his mind had been cut short. Zani began to act up now that he wasn't hungry anymore, and his mind was more open to other things besides hunting. Chui winced slightly when a rather gruesome image came into mind.

"Amile is my name you can call me Miles if you like though." He said as he watched the little one. "Yes I do have fam-" He stopped seeing the little one flinch as he leaned over and nudged the little one softly with his head.
"You all right?" He asked softly.

"Miles," he said, testing the name on his tongue. "Cool name!" Chui smiled, then laughed nervously when the sound of concern came into his Miles's voice. "Oh, it's nothing. I'm fine.." he replied quickly, just to get off the subject. The last thing he wanted to do was scare off a new friend by telling him about...that. Besides, it was only one picture. And the young leopard hoped that, for the time being, Zani would ease off. He'd grown used to a relaxed, fairly peaceful mind. He knew it wouldn't last too long, but...he wanted it to last just a little bit longer. Just a bit of bliss for a few more hours. It wasn't too much to ask for....

Amile nodded not paying a secound mind to the little onces flinching. He then pulled back and smirked.
"Well I'm sure you are thisty after that meal follow me and I'll take you to some water." He said as he nudged the little one with his tail to follow.

He nodded excitedly, trying to keep himself from expressing any sort of reaction to the headache that was slowly but surely growing in his head. Just another hour Zani..please? he pleaded in his thoughts. It never did any good before, but....well maybe he'd be lucky today. "Hey Miles," he piped up, trying to get his mind off his headache. "You said you had family right? Where are they?"

"There around here...somewhere." He said softly looking back at the little leopard.
"You see...I never was close to anyone but my sister Emogene." He said nodding a little.
"Out of a littler of four me and her where the most simalure in looks. That is how we bonded." He said chuckling remmeber the days when the two played together.

Chui smiled, wondering to himself what it was like to have brothers and sisters. Zani could, he figured, be counted as some sort of brother. An evil...kind of twisted one, anyhow, that sticks to him like glue. Those sorts existed, right? "Oh, so she's around here too? Is she as nice as you?" the leopard asked, hopping a little forward so he was right beside Miles's shoulder.

"Yeah she usually stay near the den we where born in but it is inside the jungel so yes." He said smirking as he turned to look awahed of them. He took a deep breath as he lead his new little friend to the water.
"Well then here we are." He said as he nodded to a small stream.
"I like it here." Amile said as he moved over to drink a litlte water him self. "Its always calm and peacefull and endless things to meet." He said chuckling as he pulled away and looked around then nodded to chui.
"Its safe to drink."
