It's rather annoying. All of the OH MY GOSH THE MOVIE WILL RUIN TWILIGHT NO ONE WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY THE PARTS. I don't understand it. If you don't want for there to be a movie... don't go see it. There is nothing bad about a movie nor will it ruin the books in any way. The only negative side-effect will be the annoying poeple who go see it without reading the books and the amount of crap it will get for not being exactly like the book.
Your thoughts?

to be honest with you, i'm don't really care if theres a movie or not. the twlight series is one of my favorite book triologys and i'm going to go see the movies no matter what. it won't ruin the books for me because i already love the books and know what happens. in my head, i already have a movie played out and if it doesn't match up to what they come out with, then on fricking well. i'm not the producer.
i however do think they should put more time into the movie to make it as best as it can be.

I hate people who don't give the movies a chance.
It's just like Narnia was; everyone seemed to be dreading it. But, it was amazing!
Plus, I've really grown to love the Harry Potter!movies, and they're some of the most inaccurate. XD
And the upcoming Golden Compass looks brilliant.
I have faith in the Twilight movie. Sure; we don't even have the entire cast, or a set movie poster. Heck, I'm not expecting a trailer for a year. But, we need have faith in Stephenie. She wouldn't sign onto something if she thought it wouldn't be good for her series.

I think it's just the popularity it will get that I'm dreading. I guess I've grown out of some fangirl stages, like grouping together with my fellow kind. I mean, I still squeal and everything when I see Allen Cumming in anything, but I don't really want to hang out with others that are in love with him too.
I will see the movies, just because I really like who they got to be Bella. I think she's perfect for the role. So, I might give the movie a chance. Just, after the opening and maybe during the daytime if it's during the school year. Less girls there. *Snickers*
I wonder, does anyone know if Emily Browning knew that she was a fave to be Bella amoung the community?

I am excited for the movie. I am worried that it might not be as good as I hope but still, it's Twilight. It'll be good to see even if it's not perfect.

lets look at harry potter, shall we? the books were a hit to begin with, but then the movies came. then, all of a sudden, EVERYONE WAS READING THEM. nobody was able to just share a private world with your potter books. everybody knew the story backwards.
they cant do the same to twilight. the movie will be one big commercial for the books. crying

yea, i agree with most ppl, honestly, I really don't care [anymore...] that there will be a movie. Bad? That I wasn't all too happy about the choices for the parts/the ppl i wanted at least AUDITIONED for the parts to give some hope. Good? I at least want to see the book VISUALLY as well as reading it. So it's a half and half for me.
But yea, honestly, if you rreeealllllyy hate the idea for a movie, then don't watch. No one is telling you to. It's all on your free will.

Everyone's so anti-movie mainly because of the roles of Bella and Edward. In my opinion, Robert Pattinson is butt ugly. Edward is suppose to be freakin' hott and perfect not looking like he's high constantly! In the picture on Stephenie Meyer's website, Kristen Stewart isn't your ordinary average-looking girl. Bella isn't supposed to be that beautiful...she's just supposed to be average. In my opinion, out of all the cast members, I like the person playing as Alice the best. I think that definitely suits Alice. Also in my opinion, out of all the cast members, I disagree mostly with the person playing Edward. Once again, Robert is butt ugly and he looks like he's on drugs constantly!

Movies made out of books are always crap. All the Harry Potter movies had me cursing in the theatre. But I never cursed at the actors. The actors always do a good job. It's the person who writes the script that disappoints me. Adding things in that didn't needed to be added. Or taking things that were pretty important out. That's what peeves me.

I don't know why people say the movies are always worse than the books. The directors have to cut some things out to make sure it is not too long. Stephenie would add some ideas if she wanted something. Though I don't think that the director would put everything that she said into the movie.

I didn't want them to make a movie, but I'm still going to see it... (hypocrite, I know...) You know how directors tend to change things and cut stuff out? I don't want them doing that... You can't cut anything out of Twilight and still have it Twilight. Plus, I like having my own version of Edward and Bella in my head, and once they make the movie I'll only be able to think of the movie Edward and Bella. I mean, look at the Eragon thing. Everyone was like "ERAGON ROCKS" and then I went to see the movie and it didn't even make sense. I don't want that with Twilight...
