"Ahhh ohhhhhhhh yeah!" A loud, though very rythmic voice echoed through the trees as a multi toned orange furball plummeted to earth. He landed softly his paws shuffling accross the ground in beat with his swiftly twitching tail. "In The jungle the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight!" He sang his head twitching from left to right, though he paused suddenly a brow raised, his tongue lapping out over his lips. "Don't see many lions around here." For a moment all movement of the young leopard stopped, though he quickly took up his shuffle, hop, skip once again picking up his song. "In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the leopard sings tonight!"
He grinned to himself and nodded, much more accurate, he like dit when his songs were accurate to his surroundings.

Though not of the right tones, the leopardess was finding it easy enough to get through the tall trees of the jungle before her. Her agile body weaved through and past the trunks as quickly as possible, trying at the same time to make as little noise as possible - and if anyone caught on, to at least see no one to have made the sound and perhaps mistake for fallen leaves. But, perhaps Lau Ki wasn't needing to really worry about that, no one else seemed to be around, much to her amusement.
The brown leopardess slowed herself down at this thought, taking more careful steps now as she trudged forward in no real particular path and no set destination. Her green eyes, instead, now took in a little bit of the scenery and the various greens and brown. The sunlight was scattered, rays hitting various spots as if to emphasize them for no reason and birds twittered in their songs but her ears twitched not to theirs but to another that was unlike their own. Her cream tipped tail swished in rhythm and her eyes turning to the direction where it seemed to come from.
A smile crept upon the feline's as she turned the direction of her body to the source, quiety as possible to see exactly what was singing such a song.

Unaware that he had mor of an audiance than the birds which helped him compose his tune, he struck a pose, his nose high in the air as he sang the high pitched warble of the song he was singing, in fabulopusly perfect harmony "A weeeeee heee ee a whimawombaway, whim a wheba whimaweba." He smiled picking up his footsteps again in a hop skip slide, his wiery frame moving in a most unusually quirky manner as he danced therough the undergrowth his eyes set on no one target.
He paused beneath the tree which the female leopard was perched in though and slowly started to slide ont he spot causing the dark leaf litter to float up around him in a flurry of browns and greens creating a sort of confettee. "Du nu nu nu de nu can't touch this." He sang as he performed a swift backwards slide and another dramatic pose.

He had been spotted well enough, it wasn't that hard given that his vocals had given his position faster than his mere form. It also didn't help he was a nice orange color and rather flamboyant in his movements - the male could be spotted with his walking alone. Not that it bothered Lau, he just ended up be a powerful source of entertainment to the female as she made her way carefully in the shedding trees; thankful he wasn't even looking up as she could easily be spotted through the near bare things.
Taking a careful step between branches, Lau Ki found a balance and continued her observation and pursuit of him. She winced visibly when he hit the high notes to his first song; not that it was bound, just as it was surprising and unexpected... and high. But the second song and the dance that followed.
... oh goodness. The leopardess couldn't help herself from laughing out loud, lowing herself on the branch she was on to keep herself from falling out of the tree. "... what was that?" She got out through breathes.

The small chuckle from the treetops made his head flick upwards, deep orange eyes fixing upon the female leopard. "Uh hi." He grins sheepishly, he didn't think anyone was watching him, let alone a brightly coloured female leopard. He chuckled to himself, he must have been really engrossed to miss her.
"What was what? Oh the song? it's, well not really sure but it's in my head." he beams "Or do you mean the dance?" He raised a brow repeating what he did before, his paws shuffling through the undergrowth in a sort of moon walking fashion. "Yeah can't touch this." He raises a brow standing with all his four paws splayed and his head turned upwards.
"Names Beau, spy from the sky, and you are?" He puurred, his voice very cheery, he wasn't upset about her laughing, he liked it when people smiled at his odd performances.

"The little dance for sure, the singing I could deal with really." Lau continued to chuckle as he repeated his antics and added a few new steps, stretching out a light brown paw towards the ground before letting her hind legs spring herself forward and down. The leopardess touched the ground with grace and barely a sound even on the leaves that littered the jungle floor.
"I wasn't sure if you were having a seizure or something." She smirked, a twinkle in her mint green eyes as she slowly stalked her way around him with slow soft steps. Her tail flicked gently from side to side, making figure eights as she made a semi circle around him.
"Lau Ki," She supplied with a coy head tilt, "It's a pleasure, soft steps."

The cheery young leopard raised a brow at the prfetty female, he wasn't quite sure if her words were complimenttary or not. He stopped himself from commenting on the seizure thing, though he looked a little confused for a moment.
"Well, if you don't like that kind of dancing how about a slow dance hmm?" He smiled and turned his body around so that his head faced towards her rear, though he was shoulder to shoulder with her. "Lau ki, thats a pretty name. " He chuckled, he quite liked the nick name softsteps.
"Care to dance lady?" He puurred in a musical sort of way before he struck up a soft little tune which rolled off his lips beautifully. "It's late in the evnin, she's wonderin' what clothes to wear, that beautiful lady, is brushin' her long brown hair, and if she asks me, do I look alright, then I'll say yes, you look wonderful tonight." He grinned and stepped lythely to the left pushing her shoulder away from him with his nose.

"Well, can't say if I'm much of a dancer," She replied with a playful glint in her eyes as she watched his collection of steps. Lau couldn't help but find herself easily amused by this interesting creature, the way he spoke and the way he walked was like nothing she had encountered before. There was always a beat with him, it seemed, kind of like with the tribes of two legged creatures she often saw when out in the open plains.
"I'm sure I could pick it up though," the leopardess grinned as he struck up another one of his little songs. He also seemed one with interesting vocabulary, she realized upon hearing such interesting words come from his lips. She didn't get a chance to question him at first, as he nudged her with his nose and away from him. It was a good thing she was quick and graceful on her feet, or it could have ended up in a heap of tripping. But the brown leopardess simply pulled away as she figured he intended, her feet side stepping in a fluid motion.
"So, soft steps," she finally got to asking, keeping her green gaze upon his, "where did you pick up such interesting moves and songs?"

The tabby tomcat grinned as she moved. "beautiful, you're a natural." He commented his dark eyes shimmering happily, he'd run in to so few other animals out here, int he real wild world, he was certainly starting to think it was deserted. He grinned though his tail twitching behind him intime with the tune which whistled through his head.
His steps stopped abruptly when she asked him about the songs, about the steps and he cleared his throat nervously. "Uh.." his brow creased and he cleared his throat, a lie or the truth? A half truth, she was waiting, arg! Shaking his head the roguish grin returned. "Eh, I spent sometime outside of a human encampment as a cub, I used to like the music so I'd sneak up to the huts and listen." yeah thats how you got caught remember? his inner monolouge whispered in his ear, he was a tiny cub when the humans had taken him and made him in to a house pet, he'd learned the songs alright, they'd kept him alive all those strange but beautiful beats that humans made with unknown instruments.
His tail twitched for a moment and he gave a wink, "You seem suitably amused any way," he chuckled lightly "perhaps another dance, my lythe lady? I could dance all night." he chuckled, his grin never leaving his soft maw.

Lau simply hmmed in response, nothing else betraying her content look at his explanation; making it seem that she believed him. Well, the leopardess did but in the way he reacted to this question and how he had replied, it was a little easy to tell that there was something else to this little tale of his. She wouldn't push it, not now at least, and if she ever encountered the male .. then she would pry it out of him when the time arose and was needed. Even though she was curious, but it was hard to get the whole story in one go and in one meeting.
"I see." She smiled softly.
"Amused, you say?" She herself chuckled, side stepping once again and leaning her head towards him, allowing her long tail to snake through the air behind her. "My, smooth with the paw work and the words I see. I'm up for another of your dances, Soft Steps, if you're willing to teach me." Another soft chuckle, her green eyes closing briefly.

"Of course lady, it would be my pleasure to teach you more of my ways." His deep dark eyes glimmered happily as he listened for a beat to compose anotehr song, to take another quick step.
He chuckled though when she mentioned his smooth words. he didn't think he was smooth at all, it was simply natural for him to speak the way he did. Perhaps it was not the way of the wild? He shrugged the thought off mentally, why did it matter, he wasn't going to change just because of the different location his life had braught him to.
"Lets see how about this one hmm?" His eyes shimmered as he cleared his throat roughly.
"When an irresistible force Such as you. Meets an old immovable object like me. You can bet as sure as you live. Something gotta give Something gotta give Something gotta give.
When an irrepressible smile Such as yours. Warms an old implacable heart Such as mine. Don't say no. Because I insist. Somewhere, Somehow, Someone's gonna be kissed.
So on guard. Who knows what the faiths have in store. From there fast mysterious sky. I'll try hard ignoring those lips I adore. But how long can anyone try.
Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight. Fight it with all of our might. Chances are some heavenly star spangled night. You'll find out As sure as we live. Something's really got to give."
The tabby tom moved slowly around her as he sang the crooning song. His paws tapping slowly on the ground to the beat of the slow gentle rythem.
((song is sammy davis jr's 'somethings gotta give' XD!))

Lau had at first gone with her instincts, playing off of his steps as she danced and circled around him in a rhythmic manner. But as his song continued, she found herself just merely listening, one brown paw tapping the ground with each beat she could imagine with each word. The other leopard really did have a nice voice and could carry a tune more than the scarce others she had heard try to serenade others or ever herself. It was refreshing, and a soft smile was her only response to it.
And there weren't that many weird words like the other had possessed, she understood this one and had she continued, it could have been a beautiful dance between the two really. "Wonderful once again, Soft Steps... you really do have a talent." Lau chuckled, her eyes still half lidded when he was finished, her tail flicked a few times.

Beau chuckled softly. "Why thankya m'lady!" He puurrs bowing his head ina rather overly chiverous manner. "I'm glad you liked it." He gave her a cheeky wink then righting himself and stretching out his slender body. "I suppose I should really get going, all this dancing needs something to keep it fueled." He chuckles softly.
"Without fuel in the tank the soul cannot sing." He flicked his tail lightly and looked thoughtful. "I stalk around here alot, perhaps you'd like to meet again?" he raised a curious brow, his dark orange eyes glitcening in a friendly hopeful manner. "You have alot of talent yourself I'm sure I casn help you use it."

Lau replied with small snort of a laugh at his cheeky little wink. She giggled under her breathe for a short moment, oh men. Give them one little ego stroke and they could really go to town.
"Of course, of course. Food is always a necessity and I'm sure you'll be able to find plentiful amounts in these areas. Little rabbits like to think they're being clever in the woods," She smiled then shook her head, "but they're not." With that, the brown female picked herself up from her spot and smoothly made her way to his side and slid her way slowly past him.
"It would be a pleasure to meet again Soft Steps, perhaps for an encore and a few more slow dances." Lau's smile turned to a smirk as her eyes closed to slivers in her own coy little manner. She gave him a small nod and nimbly made her way past him, tail swishing to its own beat.

Watching the female leave the young tabby male gave a chuckle and nodded. "I'm sure our paths will cross again." He puurrs turning away himself to head off in search of nourishment. "You know somethings gotta give." He sang quietly as he vanished in to the undergrowth his paws never missing a beat.
