This will be my thread for the continuation I have going, KOBALT LABS.
It started off as an RP quite long ago-- two years ago with the boy who would eventually become [and remains] my boyfriend. At the time, we had near no RPing skills, and stopped after about a year of working on it. Just recently, I mentioned it again, and we decided to do a new, refurbished version that stuck to the original plotline but was highly improved.
And here it is. Genre : Horror/[Comedy? I'm not sure. You judge for yourself.] Authors : Ahz & Sazuka [or ROBOTIC GARBAGE and Radical Torso]
I'm not sure how I could POSSIBLY ever organize this, seeing as the story is terribly long and.. [currently around 35 pages] it's just begun.
I'll post the beginning up and YOU GUYS tell me if you want more/how you like it.
I intend to build a fanbase. : DD

Sazuka was frustrated.
Today had been one of those things you just had to try to make the best out of, or try forget entirely. Nothing was working in her favor, and she was so far away from anywhere she had actually wanted to go that she figured if she kept walking, something recognizable would end up crossing paths with her. So far, nothing had.
Her first mistake had been her outfit planning. Sazuka had intended to go out and wander through a few little towns, maybe find a nice one that she could afford to spend the night in, so she wasn't wearing anything equipped for hiking. She wasn't even meaning to hike. Getting lost in an extremely damp, thick forest was the last thing she had meant to do.
The only part of her outfit that was durable were her flat-heeled boots, knee high and cheap leather. Mainly for fashion. Trekking through forests could be considered entirely wrong usage, and now that she was hopelessly far away from home, that was dawning on her. The black boots neglected a few inches of skin on her thigh, and the rest up to her hip was covered by a woolen grey skirt, fastened by a few glossy black buttons up the side. It was supposed to be for winter. For winter her a**, she thought, looking down at the skirt in question. She'd never worn anything so cold. The few inches of bare thigh were accented against her will by scattered scrapes and cuts from bushes and stray branches that she had shoved her way past; and they stung. Aside from that, the only thing that kept her warm was the thin zip-up hoodie and the band t-shirt under it.
Sazuka had her bag slung over one shoulder- She was carrying with her bare necessities. Snacks, a few pairs of underwear, bras, a shirt, jeans and such, her cell phone that had been dead for two days and it's charger, and a map she had bought that for whatever reason hadn't given any warning about the forest she was in. Her highly artificial-looking silver hair was tangled and stringy, she was strained by worry and frankly, exhausted.
Crouching down and partially collapsing after a moment of wavering against a damp, flaky tree, she closed her eyes tightly, setting the pack blindly beside her. "Hey, I think I've seen this tree before! That must mean I'm going back to where I started, right? I think I recognize that stump, too." was no indicator of where you were, and she was getting pretty scared. As it stood, the facts were that she had been pushed out of her household for a while to explore, she had no idea if she'd be able to make it back soon, she didn't have any idea where she was, and she wanted to sleep. The irritated girl gave herself a few minutes to worry before straightening up again, dragging herself forward, hoping to God her eyes weren't playing tricks as strained as they were by the darkness of the trees and the fear- There was a building up ahead. She hadn't noticed it before because she had been watching her own feet, but it was there, it was there, and she'd be able to stay there.

The huge, concrete sprawl up ahead was placed in a clearing. The rolling hills marked where trees had been sliced away, but the forest was starting to try and reclaim it, small shoots creeping over the unkempt grass. It was obvious that no one had been here in a while, and then when she got closer, it was also obvious why. The building had been impressive at one point, four huge stories made of glass, concrete, and metal, but something terrible had happened at some point and there wasn’t a lot left.
In fact, it seemed like it had exploded.
The entire top floor was smashed apart, and elegant spires of glass and wiring were scattered over the hillside along with pieces of plaster, thick radiation-proof lead, and cement. There were two enormous doors, made of metal, and one of them was partially open, left that way by some long-gone visitor. Spider webs and various types of vines and creepers were starting to envelop the sides of the building, tearing apart the walls on the upper levels like they were wet paper. In fact, the entire west side of the second floor had been overtaken by some sort of strange tree, wooden tendrils taking the place of huge sections of concrete, coiling coiling and twisting as they grew.
But the most intriguing thing was that the building was obviously still in action.
The few remaining spires crackled with visible electricity and there, barely visible around the back of the broken housing, was a watermill being furiously spun by a dangerous stream. Cabling that looked a lot like some sort of telephone wires was visible out of broken sections of the walls, shooting away under the ground towards the nearest civilization. It looked like a reasonable place to spend the night, if you could get over the creepiness.
