In the large meadow where the large ancient tree overlooked frolicked (to lack a better term) a little Second child with dark black pants with trailing blue vines and a blue shirt. She hummed merrily to herself as she planned what she should do next.
Something interesting, something new.... she thought as she sat perched upon a rock, with a stick she found at her side.

"Lin!" a slightly taller surprise second called out, hurrying towards the girl on the rock. She had long black hair that was longer than she was tall (and therefore dragged on the ground behind her at times) and a ground-length purple dress. The gold trim matched her golden eyes, and the material matched the gem of the circlet that rested upon her raven head.
"What are you doing, Lin?" Idhril asked her aunt with a curious smile as she moved to join her on top of the rock.

Tutu moved under the shadows of the trees on tip-toe, looking over the flowers she passed carefully. She had never been this far into the woods before and was enjoying her little trip, trying to commit all the pretty things she was seeing to memory, when she heard voices. Stopping she turned and moved towards the voices, peeking out from behind a tree and watching the two little girls up on the rock.

"I'm... trying to decide what to do," Lin admitted.
She didn't like to admit to being idle, because normally she was always doing something. The little girl stood up, the wind tugging at her black-brown hair, looking at Idhril she was grateful for short hair, didn't all that hair give her a headache she wondered?
Well then again it never gave Jaseth or Yue and headache so she supposed not. She paused for a moment, thinking there was something... she shook her head an shrugged the feeling off.
"The base is done," she explained, "And I even managed enough places for all my dolls, that took a long while. I'm not sure what to do though, maybe I should collect something."

"Hmm," Idhril mused aloud, putting her chin in her hands as she had seen her big brother do so many times, "Well maybe ... do you have stones or pine cones in case someone attacks?" she suggested.
Her elvish ears twitched suddenly, catching a sound from far behind her. She looked over her shoulder, towards the woods, and scanned the trees anxiously.
"I think ... there's someone there," she murmured. Then she cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted, "IS SOMEONE THERE?"

Tutu, who had been watching the girls, was about to turn and walk away when one started to yell in her direction. Stopping, she cocked her head to one side and thought about showing herself or running away...she hadn't really made any friends and these two seemed nice enough...plus, not like she had anything better to do.
Stepping out slowly from behind the tree, she blushed slightly and curtsied. "Sorry for intruding. I was just out for a walk..."
((sorry for uber delay...baby sitting duties. -_-;; ))

Lin was about to say something like pinecones was an excellent idea (since she was sure she wasn't allowed stones), though that thought was completely lost when Tutu came out. She tilted her head a bit, for she had not seen hair that colour ever as far as she could recall (though there was a mermaid with purple hair somewhere).
"Well you weren't really what? Intruding," Lin knew the meaning but it was such a big word, "If Idhril wasn't such a good listener we wouldn't have known," she nodded, "So you weren't. Were you just walking?"

Idhril beamed when she saw Tutu and waved her over to join her and Lin.
"You're very pretty," she said brightly. "Come play with us!"
Unlike any of her other siblings, Idhril was very much a girly girl, which meant that not only did she like shiny things and dolls, but she also liked pretty clothes and dressing things - and people - up. This girl, on the other hand, looked as though she was already dressed up for something.

Tutu looked around shyly and blushed a little, but walked slowly over, pulling herself up onto the rock gracefully and sitting with the other girls. Once she was settled she smiled and giggled a little. "Umm...thank you for inviting me over. I'm Princess Tutu...but umm, just Tutu is fine." Looking between the two, she smiled nervously but instinct told her that they both seemed very nice and like they could have a lot of fun together.
((so hard to RP tutu. haha. She doesn't get into "play" situations. >_< ))

Lin blinked, what a strange name, unless the beginning part was a title, and that just made a lot of sense to her.
"You're a princess?" she asked the other girl.
Because why would anyone call their child Princess unless they were really a Princess. Child's logic it was, though odd child's logic.

Tutu blushed slightly and tilted her head to one side, considering it before nodding. "Kind of. I'm not really the princess of a place or anything...guess it's hard to explain. But really, just Tutu is fine." She smiled and looked at the girl with long hair. "Umm...so your name is...Idhril?" She said, furrowing her brow and hoping she had pronounced it right after only hearing the other girl say it once.

Idhril nodded and smiled. "Mm-hm!" she affirmed happily. "Mama says it's a good name for me, even though she named me it before I was born. She named all of us before we were born, but we all fit our names, she says."
She tilted her own head to the side in much the same manner as Tutu had, though it was actually a habit she had learned from her mother and older brother. "What about you?" she asked curiously, her golden eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Do you fit your name?"

Tutu smiled a little and nodded happily. "Well, I think I do. I like to dance a lot and I'm always wearing tutu's...so I like my name." Her attention turned to the other girl that was sitting on the rock and smiled wider. "Do you fit your name....ummm...." She stopped suddenly and blushed, realizing she didn't know this girl's name.

"Lin," was the reply Lin gave with a small smile.
She hadn't really thought about if her name fit, though she was quite aware of who was the one to name her. Lin knew a bit about her name, but she also knew to some people a name was just a name. It was something perhaps she should ask her parents one day.
"My Daddy named me," she explained, "So I don't know if it fits or not."

"Lin's special," Idhril giggled. "Grandma named everyone else except my Mama, but Grandpa named Lin. For me and my siblings, Mama named all of us. She says she named us specially, but I don't know what all our names mean, just mine."
Truth be told, however, she really didn't think much about her name's meaning, despite the fact that her mama said it suited her. But that wasn't the matter at hand, here.
"Let's play a game!" she suggested eagerly, making it sound as if it were an announcement. She looked to her aunt and new friend. "What do you want to play?"
