A name change is in order if we're to take this anywhere off Gaia, other wise, nobody asks, nobody tells......

I noticed this a while back when I first threw out the name, I didn't really think much of it since this is still a Gaia-based group. Like I said, we will tackle the name issue later if this project takes off.

We need to make this program its own separate entity. We'll see where it goes, we don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves.

Very Much so, besides buying a new guild or restructuring an old one is a pain... I'm involved with the moderation of five guilds, it's hard to find that balance.

That's almost the same thing as making a new guild for VM, expect here we're converting this guild instead of making a new one. That's also another reason why I wanted to make it a separate guild. If Viking Media got too large, this guild wouldn't be enough to contain it and it would hurt the progress of THIS guild.

If we do that I'd do it soon before we get people joining this one for it and then leave to follow viking media and we loose members. @Part-Time Viking: I know what you mean. gonk It's a pain to make and then you got to try not to neglect any of the other ones.

How about the 777 board? VG4me? The full-time gamers? Lonewolf news? Just throwin names out here. I can't imagine these names are taken. Oh, and don't get me started about subforums becoming their own guilds. I've gone down that path. Nobody looks anymore. I have to send out letters after each update.

We need a name that is more original, something that only we know about, or a name that only we can come up with.
