Species: Acedia - Sloth has changed considerably since its original inclusion among the seven deadly sins. In fact it was first called the sin of sadness. Now described as apathy, depression, and joylessness, current interpretations portray Sloth as being more simply a sin of laziness, of an unwillingness to act, and an unwillingness to care.
