Maybe because of the fine detail on a small avatar? Or because they wanted them to look kind of ephemeral?

Hm. Yeah. They're still cool, though!
Too bad the avatars are only one size. You can see it close up when you go to customize it though. ^^

I spent all my battling time on the Wall of Gambino with all my accounts. The most massive battle going on there was the thread "Tonight We Dine in WalMart!" Before the end of the event, it went over 18,800 pages!
Anybody fight in other areas? If so, what was the really big battle in your chosen area?

I was in Aekea most of the time in the "You want bites? We'll help!" or something like that. I was a human fighting vamps everywhere else but got turned in that thread and started biting humans there 85% of my time.
I have all the vampire items, but never was able to get the ghost cape (and a few before that) due to being at a weekend sleepover and Neko-con on Saturday. >>;;
