Tsuki was up nice and early that morning, and her tired body quickly awoke to the feeling of a chilly breeze. She was off to do her normal morning run, and after a long span of time she stopped herself at a quiet covering in the trees. For some reason, she was exhausted, and couldn't run as much as usual. The weather change seemed to be affecting her, and she grunted to herself before moving into a quick paced trot again.

It had been over a month since she had come in contact with anybody. That in itself was strange enough, and it was bothering her. She couldn't even focus on her training, since she was so hidden in the world. For some reason, this sort of lifestyle worked well with her father, but in her opinion, she hated it!

Her usual attitude tended to drift others away from her, and she knew she needed to work on her positivity. It was hard being grouchy all of the time, that she needed to step it up and make some friends!

.. That though, would probably be a challenge..

((My apologies, hon, for not posting yesterday. I had to go to the emergency room and was there for hours)

Ah, a morning person! Paeya strongly lived by the saying 'early to bed, early to rise' and she figured she was better for it. After all, she'd never had a single day of ill health in her entire life. This morning was no different at all. She'd woken up, checked her appearance in 'her' stream, and gone off for a brisk morning walk.

There was nothing like walking through the trees and listening to the birds sing and the various sounds of wildlife waking to the light. It was peaceful and it filled the teal mare with a soft contentment.

Of course, she wasn't generally used to meeting other Soquili this early in the morning so seeing Tsuki was a bit of a surprise. Not that it registered on her face. Things very rarely did. "Good morning," she greeted the orange mare, head canting to the side as she studied her. Such odd colors! Then again, she couldn't be one to talk, could she?

Tsuki glanced over to the strange voice, but then lightened her face a bit by smiling. In her mind-daze, she must have not noticed the female who had pleasantly appeared. The female's coloring was extremely interesting, and Tsuki found her eyes watching her before she actually spoke up. The mare looked like something familiar and Tsuki was wide-eyed while trying to figure it out. "Good morning to you as well."

Walking a few steps forward, Tsuki flicked her main out of her eyes and shivered a bit from a wind gust. The cool air was something she would need to get used to, and with a huff, she realized that winter was soon coming. "I am surprised to see someone else up this early.." she then commented, while eying the mare politely. The mare had approached her.. so that must have meant that she had a friendly personality. That was a relief, since Tsuki was hoping to actually talk kindly with another. "I am usually the only one wandering around!"

"When are we ever really alone?" Paeya returned thoughtfully as she continued to study the mare, "Think about that next time you believe that you're the only one around." Creepy smile. Oh, yes, Paeya did have a very odd way of thinking about things at times. Her reasoning for this, of course, wasn't nearly as creepy - the morning was the most peaceful time. It would be foolish to believe she was the only one that enjoyed it. Paeya's head straightened itself and she flicked her braided tail behnid her to move a fly from her rear end at the end of that train of thought.

Damned bugs.

Tsuki cocked her head to the side and eyed the mare. She didn't even know how to respond to that.. it was actually pretty creepy when she thought about it. "Yes, I feel alone a lot." Still holding a raised brow, she shrugged her sides and continued to watch the mare cautiously. "Why, do you feel the opposite?" Maybe she could expand on the comment, since Tsuki wasn't someone who thought that way. "I believe what my eyes tell me, and my ears. That's all I can do.."

Ugh.. what were they even talking about? This conversation looked as though it was going to get deep. Tsuki wasn't very good at deep.. but maybe that meant that the conversation could get interesting?

"Because most assume that just because you don't see something, that it's not there, or that if you do see something, it really is." Really, it was quite simple. Why was this mare not grasping the concept? Then again, most didn't. That creepy look on her face didn't leave as she finished swatting off that annoying fly that had landed on her.

"Your eyes are the largest liars aside from your ears," Paeya laughed, "Logic is your friend, though it seems it's a friend that many lack. A sad thing indeed..."

Tsuki snorted, and lowered her eyes at this mare's words. Did she seriously think that Tsuki would continue talking to her if she was this creepy/random? "I don't know who you are, and why you keep saying such outrageous things, but since I don't understand you, I find myself completely uninterested in what you are saying."

Tsuki wouldn't lie anymore, and she rolled her eyes while moving off to the side and finding a patch of grass to nibble on. At least she could tune this mare out.. and TRY and ignore her! But as always, that was harder then Tsuki thought! "Is logic the only friend you have?" Tsuki then asked, while raising her head up in a nibble. She was so confused, so she HAD to ask questions every now and then.

The mare seemed nonplussed that Tsuki had gone off to try and ignore her. Truthfully, she hadn't been expecting company in either case and it didn't bother her that she was suddenly without it. The mare had just started to leave and go on with her day when the question made it's way across the breeze and to her ears.

"Logic has never failed me," Paeya answered without hesitation, "It's reliable, when others are not. Perhaps you should keep in mind that even if you do not understand something, it will still exist. Perhaps you should make a point to understand more things. This life is a long one, for some, and far too short for others. You do not know which you will get, mare. It would do you well to find out as much as you can about the world around you. It could save your life sometime."

With a flick of her head, tossing her mane, she continued off to leave the mare alone with her thoughts. Hopefully, she'd given her something to think about?
