[This roleplay has major time skipping for the characters involved.

This roleplay takes a few months into Zagaa'Tamanio's pregnancy from when she was raped by the firekin Pyralis. After wandering for some time she stumbled into the prideland and ran into her mother, sparking much anger

Note: This is more for my information than for anything else, if I don't jot it down I'll forget]

Zagaa'Tamanio had only been a few weeks old when her mother abandoned her and her siblings, leaving the young cub to fend for not only herself, but for her sisters as well. Having to take care of everyone Tama had to grow up fast, becoming an adult when she was only a cub. Every morning, when the sun started to trickle it's light across the sands she would go looking for the pure white female with the green eye markings that decorated her eyes and the mark upon her shoulder and tail. Everyday before the others could wake she would be up, searching, hoping to find her coming back. And every night she was disappointed.

Then her family fell apart. Lakeishi disowned them all, Kimiko left with one of the males, Misae had disappeared in the night causing fear to well up in the green striped lionesses chest, and then there was Vinya and Chau. The two that perhaps depended the most on her....she had left behind. Not meaning to of course, she had been forced out of the oasis she was born in. Those haunting glowing red eyes that reminded her so much of Misae..they had spooked her, forced her to run and whenever she would stop....there they would be again, giving her no rest.

Everything she had gone through, all the hell she had to put up with was all because of the white lioness that wasn't too far in the distance. The female that looked so happy now.

How dare she. How dare she look so happy and not be out there looking for the young daughters she had left behind so long ago!

Rage bubbled up in her throat and Tama just seethed, narrowing her eyes and glaring at the female. She didn't understand why she felt this way, she knew her mother had reasons for leaving, important ones.....or that what she always told herself...Could it have been that she had been here in these lands all this time?! Being happy, content and possibly laughing at the misfortune that fell upon Tama and her sisters?

A snarl escaped her maw as she approached Malika. The maned wolf she had been speaking to scattering at the sight of her, no doubt her anger obviously showing.

"How dare you." She hissed not giving the other any explanation of why she had just walked up and spoke so cruelly towards her.

Malika'Eusi had been having a pleasant conversation with one of the maned wolves that frequently came to the pridelands, her new home. Home....It felt so good to think about it, to have a place she could call home and know that it would be home. Being here in the pridelands made all of the bad she had experienced in the past disappear, at least until night settled....then as she laid in the cave, in the darkness the memories came flooding back to her.

All of the idiotic mistakes she had made rushed through her mind, from the day she joined Nyek's pride to the day she fled, leaving her poor daughters behind before she had even realize it. That was the mistake that hurt her the most and was undoubtedly the one she regretted the most, the one she would do over in a heartbeat. Unfortunately she couldn't turn back time and she couldn't fix things.

Just thinking about it made her sigh heavily, receiving a questioning look from her companion. "Sorry its....." Malika never got to finish because the canine took off obviously scared. "Le...." She was about to call out at the other when the green striped lioness got in her face.

How dare you

Those words echoed in her mind as she furrowed her brow in confusion not recognizing Zagaa'Tamanio at all, well that was a lie. She had a flicker of recognization flit through her thoughts but it passed by so quickly she pushed it aside.

"Um...excuse me?" She asked in her soft tone of voice not understanding the other's anger.

The fact that Malika was confused only made Tama's rage build and grow. How could she not remember?! How could she not freaking remember? Were her and her sibling so damn forgettable, unimportant, loose ends? Now Tama was pissed

She stood on her hind legs and shoved Malika, which wasn't perhaps the wisest decision for the female well into her pregnancy. "What don't remember your oldest daughter...Mommy?" Tama asked sarcastically as she landed back on her paws, a growl erupting from her throat. "Are we that forgettable? So unimportant that you just push us from your thoughts and never wondering if we're alive or even just okay?" She continued to press snarling as she spoke.

"How dare you ******** forget us, forget who I am." Tama hissed advancing on the now retreating lioness. "God Dammit! You've made my life a living hell! Do you not see these scars? Do you not see everything in front of you?" By now the green striped lioness was yelling, but not out of anger but out of sorrow, tears beginning to well up in her eyes. "How could you forget me?"She asked, her voice soft and weak.

Malika blinked stepping backward when she was shoved. What was wrong with this lioness? What was her problem? Then she said mother. That word triggered everything, her hidden away memories, the pain she tried so hard to forget, her desperate struggle to find her daughters only to find the oasis completely abandoned by everything except for a few prey beast, none of which could help her at all.

Now as Malika looked at the female before her she recognized the markings that decorated Tama's markings. They looked just the like the salmon lion that often haunted her sleep. Nyek. The male she had her first litter with.

"Oh.....my.....god." Malika barely breathed, her eyes welling up with surprise, awe, and even fear. "Zagaa'Tamanio?" She whispered softly as if this was all a dream, a terrible nightmare even. Was the green striped female who looked so much like beast who had tricked her into trusting him be her first born daughter? The one she had thought their father to be possibly the most proud of? "Is that really you?" She asked still in disbelief. This couldn't be happening, this couldn't really be reality. Yet deep down Malika knew that it was, no dream could create anger this strong, this pure. Nor could it create the tears that flowed from Tama's eye.

"No it's not. I'm just a figment of your imagination." Tama replied sarcastically before growling again. "Of course it's me! Who else could it be?!" She snarled shaking her head, sending her tears flying. "Am I that damned forgettable? Are we all that forgettable?" She asked once again her voice going weak.

Just when it seemed as though she was calming down, the rage welled up inside her again and she advanced on the mostly white female and shoved her again, ready to lash out. She was going to get payback. Make her mother just understand just how terrible a state they had been in when she fled.

"Why did you leave? Why the hell did you leave?" Tama shouted at Malika as she landed on her paws again. "Did you want us to die? Because that what almost happened!" Emotion got the better of her and her voice caught. She was no longer able to look at the other. She had to look away.

Malika stumbled backwards and landed upon her rear. It didn't matter that she was getting pushed around, her daughter was here. Right before her! "Of course not! You aren't forgettable, it's just that.....that....that..." The older lioness was having a difficult time speaking, her words were stammering just like they had when she was but a cub. "It's just that....I was afraid that you had died, please don't get me wrong Zagaa'Tamanio, I hoped with every fiber of my being that you weren't dead, but when I found no trace of you, I assumed the worse."

Tears were beginning to well up in her eyes now too. "I'm sorry.....I'm so, so sorry." Malika's voice was cracking as well, overwhelmed by everything that was happening at this moment. "Honey, I never meant to leave....it...it just happened...." The lionesss wasn't sure how to begin. "I'd take it back in a second, I really would. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left, you guys are more important to me than anything this."

"Obviously you didn't look hard enough." She snarled circling around the other, her tail flicking behind her. Her rage had dulled somewhat but was still rather strong, it was controlled though.

I'm sorry.....I'm so, so sorry.

Did she think apologizing for it was going to make everything better? That it would fix everything? That it would erase the pain, or that the scars would suddenly vanish and everything would be peachy? Just peachy? Well then she was in for a big surprise.

"Oh, your sorry, that's going to make everything alright won't it? And saying that if you had a choice that you wouldn't have left? So basically you're saying you didn't have a say in the matter right?" Tama snarled, pissed off even more than before. "Words are pointless, useless. They can't change the past or make anything better. And for your information; Apologizing will....NEVER be enough, you hear me? NEVER."

Then Tama smacked Malika smartly across the maw, without warning, catching the other off guard. "You want to make it up to me? Then make sure you stay around your next litter, because if I find out you've abandoned them again and make their future lives hell I'll come after you, you hear me?" She hissed deciding to wait until making her final demand.

Malika's brow furrowed at Tama's 'rant'. At first she didn't understand but by the time it was over she understood. The lioness hung her head, ashamed when the paw came flying out of nowhere. It caught her off guard and was rather strong, knocking her to the ground. "Ugh...." She mumbled as she moved to stand again.

Many would have been outraged that the other lioness had struck out but Malika wasn't. No she understood why and in some ways felt she deserved it. After all she had left them alone with no one to care for them, undoubtedly putting the weight of so much responsibility on her eldest daughter, the one who stood before her now, chest heaving and shoulders slumped.

"I hear you. I hear every word. I will not let you down again. And I know this doesn't mean anything to you but...." She paused momentarily to take in a breath. "I'm sorry and I always will be. I do realize I've made your life a big mess of problems but there isn't anything I can do now, the only thing I can do is apologize. So. I'm sorry."

"That's right you won't. You know why? Because you'll have new young lives depending on you and probably won't survive without you." She replied darkly eyeing the other with her yellow eyes. "One more thing. You need to search out all of my sisters, all of your daughters and apologize to them, because they're the ones that were hurt the most by your betrayal. By your disappearance. I had too much to worry about, too much to take care of to really worry about you." Tama told her rather coldly, turning her back on the other and beginning to walk away.

"You'll find Kimiko and Lakeishi in the firekin lands, where I got these damned scars and something else, but I doubt Lake will believe you if you say she's your daughter, you look nothing alike." She paused glancing back to meet those soft violet colored eyes with her harsh unforgiving yellow eyes. "Go to the sea and you'll find Misae, hopefully. If you can't find her call to the wind, it will deliver your message to her. That's what she told me at least and as for Chau and Vinya, I don't know where they are sadly." She looked away then remembering what she found to be her greatest mistake, leaving them when she had no choice.

Tama was a hypocrite and she well knew it. She had abandoned her sisters just like her mother had abandoned all of them, but she had no choice. Something physical forced her out of the oasis, chased her out. Every time she would try to turn back and return it'd appear forcing her farther and farther away. "Don't forget, I'll be watching."

With that she strode away to find a place to rest, her belly aching from all of the physical activity she had been participating in the last few minutes.

Malika nodded slowly as Tama turned away. Her eyes meeting the others for a split second. She took in every word said by her daughter, saving it mentally. It was then that she realized the rounding stomach of Tama. She was pregnant! It sent a jolt of joy and sorrow through the female. "Take care....." She whispered even though she knew it would go unheard.

She turned and headed toward the den that she had been residing in for the past while. She prayed that she would find Sekizen there. Malika really needed him to be there, she needed someone to lean against as she possibly cried mourning over the loss of children while at the same time celebrating with her tears the fact she had a chance. A chance to make amends with all of them.

Suddenly the pale lioness was exhausted and was staggering about. Weakly she called the male, who she had become so fond of, name a few feet away from the mouth of the den. She wasn't sure she'd be able to make it there with out collapsing before it. "Sekizen?"
