Way With Words
Angst lends its eloquence
My heart's put up it's own defence
Heartache inspires poetry
But that's not all you meant to me
The ink on this page is running with my tears
The images I convey to you can't show you all my fears
The verses that I can think up are simply just too bland
The guy that I am with is not who I had planned
And this pain it gives me reason
To write all that I feel
And this pain that I am feeling
I wish it wasn't real
And these words that I'm spelling out
Don't show you what I'm thinking 'bout
And though my heart is beating
I've learned that happiness is fleeting
The signs say I'm still alive
But I'm long dead inside.
Fallen Angel
If I'm gonna get to heaven
I'm gonna get there tonight
I might get to heaven
If I slit my wrists right
Heaven would be escaping
Escaping from this hell
I'll make my escape
A returning angel that fell
I'll do it tonight
I'm sure they'll understand
I'll slip away in sleep
With a razor in my hand
I'll leave them a letter
It's filled with my thoughts
I leave behind my feelings
They're all that I've got
And so I'll go to heaven
I'm gonna get there tonight
Even if I go to hell
It can't be worse than this right?
Strange-er
You speak a language I don't understand,
Punctuated by gestures made by a strange hand.
A tongue that seems foreign,
Yet I know yours so well.
From that glint in your eye
You have something to tell.
You're familiar to me, like a second skin.
But I can no longer guess just what lies within.
We were the same person,
But you're a stranger now,
Seperated suddenly,
I can't remember how.
Does it even matter?
Now your touch is cold as ice.
And we can't go back.
You don't get a second choice.
There is no other option.
There is no simple cure.
Our damage has been done now,
Of that I am quite sure.
So you'll remain a stranger,
No longer the boy I knew,
But in case you remember,
Just know that I loved you.
Attention Whore
Stupid lil' emo girl
In your lil ******** up world,
Safety pins in your arm,
Your hobby is self harm.
Mildly pornographic photography.
How low will you sink to insult me?
I hope you're happy in your future,
With those words carved in your skin.
I hope you get what you deserve.
Faking pain when there's none within.
Seeking attention,
You just want your name mentioned.
Are you proud of yourself?
Proud of what you do?
Is depression an achievement?
I bet your mom is proud of you.
You're so hypocritical, wait, do you even know what that means?
I bet you gotta starve yourself to fit into those skinny jeans.
And yeah, I'm ugly, but at least I'm sane,
I don't get a kick outta taking pictures of my pain.
So ******** up lil emo girl,

took me less than 2 hours to write it, i was in class so i was kinda distracted razz i hope u like it:-
call me stupid call me emo
you people are just too shallow
i am the living dead
i feel haunted in my bed
living forever in pain is my own curse
if i dont spill my blood i see my hearse
i'm so confused so scared of death
never knew love or had a hearth
people are just puppets of fate
"go along with the world and live it sane"
you stupid pricks your just insane
i have no future i live for the moment
and rather die than hear your comment
i cleanse my sins while shedding those tears
i prayed and cried and fought my fears
till i knew for sure, god has no ears
always been had..i thought he hears
he hears our plea, our pains he feel
proud of pain ? b***h please get real
am not hypocritical just eat your beans
your mom always told you to eat your greens
while mine was drunk going out with a loser
thinking she's alive she was just a poser
she always screamed i was a mistake
so i hurt myself and my life i'll take

mine take like 5mins
and i wrote the attention whore poem coz this lil emo b***h started havin a go at me, insulting my appearance and whatnot...god i hate that girl

grr teachers eh? i wrote a poem bout like, eating disorders, while in class and my teacher read it....I got referred to the counsellor...fun.
and i like your comeback poem, it reminds me of me when i used to self harm! (in my darker moments)
