(If you want updates on the Resources gallery in general--tutorials, vector resources, Fonts, etc., go check out ^thespook and ^bleedsopretty. You don't have to watch their art, but their Journals & News would be ideal. ^bleedsopretty in particular, since she is submitting a series of news articles every now and then of fantastic Resources submitted in the last 48 hours.)

Soft CG tut
Vector tut
Cool waterdrop tut
For the Waterdrop tutorial you can easily do this at home if you got a glass and camera. I wish I can try it one day but I have neither x_x

Over the past year, I've been using very many different tutorials to help improve my art. Several of them are listed in the very thread!
But I'm afraid none of them helped me out at all. ;-;
I'm my own biggest critic when it comes to art and I always find myself doing far too much unhealthy comparisons when using tutorials. I find that my best results are produced by my own personal experimentations with trial and errors.

Anyone feel like this or am I slightly mad?

I've found many useful ones that are probably lost forever in the vast abyss known as my favorites.
