It's the beginning of another tournament, and everyone is welcome to join. Really, everyone. Not only have the three top duelists in the world decided to come, but bad guys, amateur duelists, and weirdos alike.

Something's obviously not right with this whole deal. Especially when Doom makes a comeback.

Even so, on a cruise ship they'll go, and when they get back...

On land, only those with a strong soul will be able to throw off the power of the re-reborn Leviathan. With the baddies safely aboard the boat, they'll either team up with the monster or our own group, but no matter which, their intentions aren't trustworthy.

Setting

1. Tell who you want to be so we can check if she/he is/are available. If you want a made-up, you'll have to fill out the form below.

4. This is a lit role play which means your posts must be three or more lines. Or at least enough for another role player to post back.

Personality: Someone who would prefer to live in solitude, Nephtys couldn't obtain that desire because of his behavior a couple of years ago. Sometimes when agitated, he would get snappy but would never walk away. Nephtys tends to be collected otherwise, with a calm demeanor and sometimes controlling. He also is very dedicated when he sets a goal, and will stop at nothing to obtain it.

History: Nephtys was born in Alexandria, Egypt- and not too long after he was born was flown to Japan with his parents. Originally however, Nephtys was actually a she, but a couple of years ago he shot his mouth off at the wrong person and they put Nephtys under a curse- she turning into the opposite gender. What started this, was that when an old man with Egyptian tattoos and a shroud approached her, he told Nephtys that he knew of her attitude towards those with faith. Replying in a snide tone of voice, she replied "I only believe in what I can touch, feel, and see. Anyone that believes in some big man in the sky or 'magic' needs to get their heads on straight and come back into reality." With this, as a lesson to teach her the old man put a curse on her. It not not clear who the old man was, but clearly he came from the same country that Nephtys was born in: Egypt.
Before this had occurred, he lived quite a decent life. His parents were rather wealthy and excelled in scientific study involving computers and technology (which was how they have met in the first place). Nephtys didn't gain much interest in the same subjects as they, but instead grew an interest in biology, he having a major interest on the origin of life itself.
Recently graduating from college, he hopes to find out more things, since he knows that there are still so many things to figure out. He wishes to be a professor.
Because of his curse, he had an especially tough time in college, for he was still attending it when it happened. Embarrassed, he still went through with it though plenty of proof was needed to prove that he was truly Nephtys Anpu. Sometimes, people will confuse his gender because he still is feminine in appearance.

Personality: Saito is kind of like one of those bad-a** people. Not really caring what happens to him or to people he doesn't know. But then, he still holds his friends dearly to him. He's one of those kids who skip school for the heck of it. Mostly a laid-back kind of person, he can usually be found smoking. He hates being lectured about his addiction to the nicotine and doesn't give a damn about what people say about it. He does what he pleases. Saito could really care less about school. He's almost always stubborn.
Hair Color & Style: Black with blue streaks. The back reaches to about his shoulders and his bangs fall partially over his eyes.
Eye Color & Style: His eye color is a really dark brown that almost looks as if he had black irises. They don't have a shine to them and his facial images could be mistaken as a dead person.
Height: 5 feet, 11 inches
History: After being abandoned by his parents at the very young age of 2, Saito was found later by a young couple and taken into their care. While in Japan, he practiced martial arts in private with a Tán Tuǐ specialist. He began the training, and has continued to work on his technique up till now. Currently, his skills haven't been matched by any other Tán Tuǐ user, but no one could really predict when she would be defeated. Using only his legs to fight, his arms also are rather strong to uphold the weight of the body when flipping onto her hands to do spinning kicks and such. His parents weren't very encouraging of him with his learning in the martial arts. Saito was raised under a smoke-abused home and thus, his habit for smoking started when he was 9. Then his "foster mother" died of cancer (type unspecified). His father is currently in the hospital, getting treated for lung cancer. He lives just fine on his own in the house and can work around making money. He works in a bar a few blocks down the street from where he lives and makes a significant amount of money there. He's a hardcore chain smoker.
Usually found smoking and wandering the streets of Domino, he often gets strange looks shot at him. He knows he should be thinking about his future, but he also figured that all of that has gone down the drain ever since he entered High school. As soon as he uses up a pack of cigarettes, he almost goes to a store to buy another.

History: Andy's entire family turned out to be very successful scientist, lawyers, or politicians who all value a high education above anything, especially Andy's parents. Her dad is a neurologist and her mother is a forensic anthropologist, both completely successful in their fields, which puts even more stress on Andy's shoulders. Born in California, her family lived there until the age of seven when her mother was recruited to a new institute that just opened. So, moving to Domino City, her father got a job at a prestige hospital and all was well. Her parents fought limb to limb about keeping their child out of public school, but Andy would not have it, she did not want to stay home day after day, so their parents pulled up a deal. Her parents did not want her in a public school because they not only thought they would not challenge Andy enough and that they would not be teaching enough subjects for her, her parents hired an ex-college professor to be visiting the house everyday after school to tutor Andy the "correct" subjects like medicine, health, forensics, law, advanced math, advanced English, and foreign language. Andy's entire life revolves around her studies in which every minute of her life is dedicated to her education. Andy doesn't really mind the amount of pressure and time her parents force her to spend on her studies, she actually enjoys studying, but she does have her doubts. She has never had time to herself to do what she wanted to do and would give anything to be able to run her own life for once.

Personality: Isolating himself from others, Derrek often finds himself alone, brooding in his own thoughts. Not very talkative and very private, Derrek hates being in large groups, or if he finds himself with someone, he wont speak that much. He only speaks in the simplest degree, only talking when he actually needs to and or saying as little as he possibly can. Sometimes he can be cold and sarcastic, but he does not mean harm, that's just how he is, very blunt. He's very distant from everyone, his eyes always seemingly staring off as if looking through everything, even that small eye connection with people seems to even cease to exist with him. His thoughts are the only thing he has with him all the time. Calm and silent most of the time, there is a side to Derrek that is very frustrated, angry, and somewhat violent. History: Derrek Heilbronner was not always cold and distant as he is today, as a child he was in fact the opposite. Living with two loving parents, Derrek's mom and dad were always caring and supportive of their child. Wanting their child to live in the best and happiest environment he can, his parents showered him in love and affection all the time, he could do no harm. Derrek thought himself to be the luckiest kid on earth, even having a stuffed rabbit he carried with him all times as a youth and a rat named Henry. However, when he was seven, all of that changed one day with a little spark. Off playing with his best friend at the park, Derrek did not expect the horrible news that would approach him that day. One of his neighbors came up to him and told him what had started that morning and what had finished only just half an hour ago. A huge fire had not only claimed his house, but took his parents and his entire life with it too. With nothing left to do and no death will, the state had forced Derrek to live at a foster home, and there he lived for exactly two years. Living from house to house, Derrek's spirit was broken as it seemed like his life was just flying right by him, and there was absolutely nothing he could do but take this torture and live through it. His grandparents had finally found him and they were who took Derrek out of the foster home, sending him to go live with them in Japan. Domino City was where he stayed from then until present, nothing left for him but his old, withering grandparents and the worn-down apartment they all lived in.

History: When Yuri was twelve, she blindly hacked into a huge company in Domino and caused it's demise and the apparent suicide of the CEO. [no it's not Kaiba corp...this company was second to KC] Grandpa, for fear of Yuri's well-being, sent her to New York City in America to a relatives house to keep her safe. What he didn't know was the relatives hated Yuri because they blamed her for the death of their only child. They abused her and on one instance tried to sell her to someone, so she got tired and finally escaped their locked basement and ran away. She spent several weeks, almost a month on the harsh streets of New York with only her laptop to aid her. When the battery finally gave up and died on her, she resulted to pick pocketing to gain enough money to eat on until she came to a very strange man by the name of Dartz. He caught her and as punishment, he took her with him. Upon arriving at Dartz's compound, he took her to a room to show her the orichalcos...instead of her chosing it, it chose her...signalfying that she held the spirit of the Leviathan inside her. Upon learning this, Dartz began his work on Yuri, training her in martial arts and developing her already growing computer skills and her thieving. He also started to feed the leviathan inside her by abusing Yuri and causing any negative emotions he could. In one instance when Yuri refused to put Kaiba corp under, he had her chained to a metal table and blindfolded. The man that was to torture her, raped her instead. Later she found out she was pregnant, but when she was five months, she was relentlessly beaten until she went into premature labor and gave birth to a very tiny infant girl which died in her arms five minutes later. Devastated, Yuri drowned herself in fighting and causing any physical harm to herself that she could just to drown out the pain inside her. The North America business world became very frightened of the possibility they would be next on Yuri's list. She uses the alias, Silent Huntress and is sought by the feds in North America.

She moved inside with one of her friends and got a sporty motorcycle to ride around on. She often finds herself fascinated with dueling or fighting. A lot of people have beaten her up before but she struggles on her own refusing to accept help and make a name for herself so she could not only be different from mai but also she wants to be better than her. When she was young mai use to get what she wanted from her parents Amanda finally got feed up when mai took a boy from her that she thought she loved but it turned out all wrong. She can sometimes be found street racing late at night.

Then again, if she does end up liking someone, she'll show the other half of her personality, which is weird, hyper, and kind of crazy at times. History:Tsuki had a fairly normal childhood, although when she was six, her parents divorced. She really didn't know it though, she just assumed it was because of her dad's job why he was gone all the time. Even when her older sister went with him, she didn't think to much of it or have it explained to her. She continued to live with her mother and older brother, which proved to be a little harder then you'd think. Why? Because her brother got into fights and almost got killed a few times, and her mother drank, and was a bit abusive. Tsuki never thought there was something wrong or told anyone, then when she was twelve her grandfather died. A few weeks after that, her mother confessed to doing other drugs, Tsuki was shocked and hurt, but supported her mother. Even then, she began to change, she became distant and less trusting. Eventually her mother got 'better', Tsuki was glad but still hurt by all that had happened. Then something unexpected happened, just when she thought her life was back to normal, her brother got into another fight... but he didn't make it out alive. Confused and angry, Tsuki ran away, and lived on the streets for sometime. Of course, during this time, she found out there was an accident, and seeing as she only had a few known living family members, she was left pretty much alone. She did received an inheritance from it though, and moved away from her old home to Domino City. There, she found a room mate and got a job, saving the rest of her money for when she needs it.

Amisi was in her room, alone, e-mailing her father. She did so often, asking about business, and stocks and such. Heiress’ must stay on top of things.
But today she had a new topic she needed to take up with him, concerning her new brother.

Who still wasn’t there.

Where on earth could he be? He hadn’t even shown up last night, and they shared a room.

Part of her wondered if she should begin looking, but the only person she could think to help her look was that Kaiba idiot.

With a heavy sigh she finished her e-mail and closed her laptop.

She left her room as quietly as possible and knocked on the door to Seto’s room.

She matched his expression perfectly, but it was less intimidating considering he was taller than she was.
“I’m looking for my…brother. Have you seen him?” Amisi asked. She was still having a hard time referring to the boy as her brother.
“He’s about Mokuba’s height, black hair, pale skin, probably wearing black…”

Amisi's eye twitched with annoyance. She stuck her middle finger at the door as if he was still there, and walked away in a huff.

Why did father give me the kid if he knew I was going to lose him?! Hmph. I'll bet Kaiba's brother and sister are more helpful than he is.

It looked as if Samiko Kaiba was already gone, so she went looking for the youngest sibling instead, who was nowhere in sight. Well, maybe the both of them had up and gotten lost together or something.

She returned to Kaiba's door, pulled a hairclip out of her pocket, pushed the lock, and opened the door without even bothering to knock.
"Are you aware that your brother is gone as well...?"

Amisi turned red with anger, something she didn't often do. She was very accustomed to her usual 'I could care less' expression.
"Wait for me, dammit! You lose your kid and we all end up looking for him, but if I lose mine this tournament could turn into the sequel to the Exorcist!"
She shrieked, and ran after him.

"And you think I care about helping you? The only reason I even bothered to ask you is because they are probably together. Use your damn brain."
She hissed, crossing her arms over her chest. She didn't know enough about Kei to be able to spot him in a crowd, so this was going to be tough.

"Oh, pack up your ego and take it-"
She began, and then her voice changed. Well, not really her voice, it was her entire language. She was now speaking a language that was used by the Ancient Egyptians a long, long time ago, but had since died out.

Her hands flew up to cover her mouth, then in broken English, she said;
"E-Excuse me, kind sir..."

Apparently something had triggered an accidental transformation into Het-Heru.

"My...my brother...?" She said. Poor Het-Heru was very confused. In Amisi's body, she had absolutly no idea what was going on. She figured she should play along.
