I love it!!! I don't really think they had secks, but they were intimate for sure. Of course we know that Tifa leans on Cloud. Who knows, maybe they did share a kiss. whee They wouldn't have to talk.

But anyway...Doujinshi aside...I honestly think they only cuddled with (or 'leaned on') each other. I think that, judging from both of their personalities, a kiss (or sex, for that matter O.o) after everything they went through might be going too fast.
But then again, you could also say that since they didn't know how everything was going to turn out in the end...maybe they did share a 'first and last' kiss, just in case xP
Either way, Tifa sure was embarrassed when they went back on the Highwind, so intimacy must've definitely been expressed ^^

SOME people seem to think that because it was the supposed end of the world, and a very passionate moment, think that the two probably had sex. Now I on the other hand, agree with you Tai. A kiss is hardly within their personalities, it's hard to see them actually going that far into their realationship. And after wards, they didn't act like a couple who had just gone that far, you know?
Though, a few members at StrifeHeart seem to claim that people have sex just on a whim, and don't need to have emotions while it happens. -cough- Because to them, sex leads up to emotions instead of the popular belief, that deep emotions lead to physical intimacy. :shrug: I guess every-one has their own opinion. rolleyes
I think that a kiss really does make sense. ^^ Cloud and Tifa are both very shy, and introverted characters, and yet they seem to be moving closer to one another as the game progresses, and even understand one another a lot more as well. The Highwind scene is just the icing on the cake! Tifa says there's more way to describe things than just words, and the screen blacked out. I mean, it must have blacked out for a reason. : ]
Even so, Tifa would've been really embarrassed just to be seen snuggled with Cloud for so long, I think. That's within her personality. -nods-

I agree. Even if there are 3 different scenes in which the outcome varies, the fact that they actually leaned against each other, asleep, with all defenses and barriers down was really special.
Oh yeah, I read on Strifeheart (not the forums, the shrine) that even if you're nice to Aeris and stuff, it doesn't mean that Tifa will react less in the Highwind scene. I don't know all the details, but apparently they were experimenting with the affections level and how they affect the Highwind scene. Suffice it to say, I think it's obvious that if you're mean to Tifa then her reaction isn't much. But the fact is that even if you had Aeris as a date, in the Highwind scene, Tifa could fall on her knees trembling with embarrassment still. So.....claims from the Cleris side that the Highwind scene is irrelevant goes down the drain. 3nodding Though I haven't experimented it myself.....someone feel free to play FFVII multiple times and test the outcome. blaugh

I've played it many times, but I haven't had the heart to be mean to Tifa. x'D Well, if they want to say the Highwind Scene is irrelevant, than Aeris's date scene is irrelevant. I think, that the fact that Tifa and Cloud will STILL have a moment together under the Highwind, means something. Like, even if you're mean to Aeris--- Cloud will still be sad when she dies. If you're mean to Tifa, he'll still sit with her under the HighWind, give thanks to her before he gives the Black Materia to Sephiroth, and still accept her help in the Lifestream.
But anyway, who cares about SH and their opinions. :] I shouldn't have mentioned them at all. Everything they say, is nearly irrelevant.

The whole sex theory is out of the question. It takes them both out of character and would make Cloud a complete jackass in my eyes. Seriously, in Advent Children the two are still sleeping in separate beds. rolleyes
Anyway, this picture pretty much sums up that scene for me. I think Cloud and Tifa shared a shy, but cute moment together before facing 'the end of the world.'

Sex would be out of the question for those two in the original game.
Even a kiss is strecthing it.
I mean, Tifa just recently delved into Cloud's most inner thoughts and fixed them for him. The poor guy just might be a little mortified. One doesn't expect their inner child to tell the girl they like about their feelings. X_X
So it be awkard to share anything ele at the moment.
