Rosalie hovered in the section for the heavy-type dolls with her hands full of doll. One of the two was Madeliene, her newest- and an Angel- and the other was Voice, her oldest. Both dolls were of similar size, but she would have felt guilty had she dressed up the newer in hand-me-downs from the elder, especially considering the unused credit card that currently weighed down her lacy black purse (which happened to match her lacy black dress perfectly). She felt even worse that Madeliene was wearing a handkerchief, and fully intended to fix this as soon as she could. That happened to be the business that brought her to the Descending Angels store before the rest of the world woke up on a Saturday morning.
Her homework was done, and Fres hovered several feet away, ostensibly checking the prices on a display of premade angels. There was no reason for her not to be there. (She repeated this several times when she thought someone was going to walk into the store).
Soon enough, she was engrossed in comparing Voice's white dress (the inverse of Rosalie's own) with an outfit she'd found on the shelves for Madeliene. She didn't even notice someone else enter the store.

Kylie entered the store and sighed, glad to be out of the shuffle of the crowd outside. It may be early but this town didn't seem to sleep on weekends. The red-head had made plans for the rest of the day and well into the night, so if she expected to get any training done this weekend, she would need to do it now.
Moving through the empty aisles towards the stairs at the back that led to the layers on the second floor she heard some movement in one of the other aisles and stopped. Maybe it was someone to practice with or at least get a look at some competition. Moving to the end of the aisle, she popped her head around the corner, pretending to be comparing the contents of the aisle with the sign that hung above it announcing the heavier weight angel section. All she saw was a girl holding two dolls (one that obviously wasn't an angel and one that could be) and an older person staring at prices. Nothing interesting or worth while really....
((oh, and Kylie doesn't wear her bright dress and boots everyday. Probably more prone to a black halter top and jeans with black boots. <3 Messenger bag slung across her chest. ))

She jumped and turned when she saw someone out of the corner of her eye, dropping Madeliene in the process. "Y-you scared me," Rosalie stuttered, glancing at Fres out of the corner of her eye. The bodyguard-come-lady's maid was paying attention to the prices, obviously, but she stood tensely now that someone was behind her. She dropped to her knees and picked up Madeliene, checking her over for harm imposed by the fall with near-frantic motions of her gloved fingertips. It was lucky that she'd dropped Madeliene and not Voice; the ball-jointed doll would have fractured, at the least. Her Angel was unharmed.
"Are you going to train?" She looked up from her position crouched on the floor. Then she stared back down at Madeliene and checked her for cracks, running fingers over the eyes and hair with some kind of worry and desperation. Her doll couldn't be harmed. She just couldn't.

Kylie had come fully around the corner when the girl talked to her, figuring it to be too rude even for her to just walk away. Watching her fuss over the doll, she was reminded temporarily of her little sister Layla but simply crossed her arms and looked at the other women in the aisle that looked tense and ready to spring. Who was this girl that had someone watching her so closely? Wasn't a parent, stalker maybe? None of her business really. The girl's voice brought her attention back to her and she nodded, patting her messenger bag. "Yep. Heading upstairs now with Miyu." Nodding her head at the girl's hands she asked polietly. "Your Angel?"

She nodded and stood up, filling her arms with Voice and Madeliene again. "Madeliene," she said, clutching them both to her chest. "My Angel is Madeliene." With a somewhat tentative smile, she asked, "May I... see your Angel?" It wasn't often that Rosalie talked so much, but there was no one else to distract Kylie. Except Fres, but Fres had orders to make her socialize on her own. Father didn't approve of her small circle of friends...

Kylie shrugged and reached into her bag, pulling out Miyu gently and smoothing her hair and dress, untangling one of the ribbons on her lolita style pirate outfit. "This is Miyu. I haven't battled yet, but she's a Medium build with an emphasis on speed." Looking at the aisle again she smiled. "Going to guess Madeleine there is a Heavy angel?"

Rosalie started to reach out to touch Miyu, but stopped and looked at Kylie for permission. "Yes, Madeliene is Power-Heavy," she said, tucking her hand back into her sleeve to support both dolls. "I bet you'll do great in battling. But what if someone catches Miyu's ribbons? Wouldn't that be a liability?"
Immediately after speaking, she turned red and looked back down at Voice's blonde hair. "Sorry," she said, her voice muffled by the way her mouth was pressed into her doll's hair. "Sorry."

Kylie subconciously pulled Miyu back as the girl had reached to touch her. It's not like she thought the girl would hurt the Angel, she was protecting her own like a breeze might break them, so she wasn't sure why she had other then that the girl was a stranger. In fact, she knew this girl's angels name, but not hers. "If they could catch her, then maybe. And honestly, if they could do that then that would mean they were probably light weight...and she could take them." In fact, she almost counted on it. The ribbons looked like a tempting little way to trip her up, if they were focused on catching one of the many ribbons, that would distract them from hitting Miyu.
Her brow furrowed as the girl began to almost shrink in on herself, apologizing. What the hell was wrong with all these young kids with no self esteem getting into this game?!? It wasn't going to be any fun to crush one of these wimps. "It's fine...really. You can stop apologizing...it's kinda creepy." Looking around, she saw the stairs and turned towards them. "I have to go train now if I'm going to get any time in today...your welcome to come watch if you'd like."

She nodded. "That'd be nice. I haven't actually seen any battles, except for Asami and Fantine, but both of them spent the entire time dancing instead of actually trying to beat each other up." It'd been pretty, but not exactly educational. Rosalie tripped after Kylie, but only after looking at her bodyguard to make sure that she was followed. Fres smiled reassuringly. It's fine, she mouthed, and the dark-haired Deus nodded. She followed Kylie up the stairs.

Kylie shrugged. "I won't be doing much more then that." She said as they walked up to the second floor where the layers were. "I've just started training myself...so I'm not that great. Not going to be fighting or anything." As they got to the second floor, it was rather empty except for two girls in the far corner who were battling. It was obvious even from this distance that they weren't very good and both were giggling at their failures. Hey, it took practice, no faulting them there. Moving up to the counter where Jade sat, she got a training ticket and started to move towards a layer, waiting for the girl to catch up. "Oh, and I'm Kylie by the way."

"It's more interesting when you admit that's all you're gonna be doing," Rosalie demurred. "And I'm Rosalie, and my other doll is Voice." She trailed behind the older girl, half-distracted by Fres- who had stopped in the doorway- and by the battle in the corner.

"Whatever makes you happy kiddo." Kylie said, sitting down at the appointed layer and placing Miyu in her lap as she positioned the headset over her ears then pushed the button on the side, turning the thing on and having the wings on either side pop up.
"Miyu, may your beauty conquer all." She said, smiling, and threw the little doll onto the layer. As Miyu passed through the barrier she turned once and landed. It wasn't intricate or even graceful, but it worked. The orange haired doll moved shakily and turned to face Rosalie, giving a small wave.

She smiled and waved back. Sure, Miyu looked nothing like the angels she saw on the TV screen, but Rosalie thought she looked very pretty and graceful in her own way. To practice, she identified the entry phrase used by Kylie, and kept it in mind for when she had to come up with her own. Her own idea was percolating in the back of her head as she watched Miyu and Kylie.

Kylie returned her attention to Miyu as the doll began to move. "You can sit down by the way..." She said quietly, indicating the chair opposite her.
Nothing too fancy today. Walking, jumping, ducking...maybe a few kick and punch combos...that would be enough for now. Looking at the clock she huffed and realized she didn't have as much time as she thought she did.

She tripped over to the chair and sat, crossing her ankles primly like a proper lady. For maybe the twelve-thousandth time today, Rosalie wished she could draw; even just walking, Miyu would be a great subject. She stretched one arm upwards and then settled into watching Kylie and Miyu dance.
