Appearance. . . . Mort looks a lot like any 4 year-old boy, with a few small differences. He’s a little tall for his age with long, boney arms and legs. His hair is bright orange, and I mean orange. Not red that looks orange, but true pumpkin orange; a color not usually found in the human genome. There’s also a leafy green stem growing out of his head, the overall effect closely resembles a pumpkin. In his forehead is a deep crack that is slowly healing over. Elda is told that this crack come from when Mort was dropped as a pot, and it will eventually heal, but will probably scar. With his pale green eyes and laid-back grunge style Mort is an easy person to like.

Fai:: One of Elda's other children, Fai is Mort's brother and an Illusionray. Mort dosen't know what to make of Fai's sparkles and Fai blows spit bubbles for Mort.
Ruka:: Elda has never actually met Ruka, but she understands that he was Mort's original caretaker. She wishes she knew more about the man who helped bring the adorable pumpikn child into the world.
Dulca:: Ruka's sister, maybe??? Anyway, Elda knows from hanging around HQ that Dulca is Teigen's Guardian. She seems like she would be a nice enough person to put up with Teigen all day long.
Teigen:: Mort's "cousion" through Dulca and Ruka, and Dulca's Eden, he has the soul of a Ring Tailed Lemur. Elda feels that even through Mort is under her care now he should still have as much contact as he wants with his old family.
