I'm bored. Guild is empty. So, lets just have a riddle fest while things are being set up! Mmkay, first riddle! 3 words in the English language end in gry, hungr-

NO NOT THAT ONE. <.<

The Sniper:

A man is driving in a war zone when he is attacked by a sniper. His car skids and turns over. He manages to crawl out and get behind his car but he is still under fire from the sniper. He has no gun. All he has is his canteen filled with water, a dirty rag, a army knife, and a cigarette lighter. How can he escape?

Hungry, angry.... Crap. mad

I'm dumb with these things. D;

And it's not that the guild is being set up -- it's ready. I am just waiting for intelli-gent to PM me back about the Intelli-points. Hopefully this should be Sunday. Apparently I picked a bad time because he's kind of out of town or busy.

If he's not back by Monday I'll start without him. The answer's probably no anyway sweatdrop

Drat, and I know the 'NO NOT THAT ONE' one, too. D:

Hm...Drive through a war zone...drive...war zone...under fire...cigarette lighter...dirty rag... He can...um...wait until the sniper runs out of bullets, then make a break for it!

No...um...

Homemade bomb...

No...

I dunno yet. >.> Though I have a feeling this should be obvious, I can't spot the section that gives it away yet.

Why's he driving in a war zone? Why does he have no gun?

Dangit, I'm gonna get this!

if he's driving through a war zone, he deserves to be shot

My friend said that when I showed him this one.

Well I want to say that the reporter should put the rag in the watter bottle and light the rag on fire and throw it toward the sniper, so the sniper thinks it's a molotov cocktail.

But honestly I dunno. D;

OSNAP I KNOW.

Drink the water out of the water bottle, open the lighter, pour half the lighter fluid in the bottle and keep the other half for lighting the rage which is now stuck in the bottle, NOW that's kinda a makeshift molotov cocktail.

One could also get gas from the tank on the car by poking a hole with the knife instead of using a tiny amount of lighter fluid [If it's the type of lighter that I'm thinking of, that is]; good luck getting out of there with a hole in the tank, though. >.>;

WE HAVE A WINNAH!

Sorry Q. <.<;;

Let's see, a harder one yes?

Every night before he went to bed, a man carefully locked all the doors of his house. Then he placed the front door key inside a bucket of cold water. In the morning he retrieved the key from his bucket in order to open the door. Why did he do this?

I have one too!

There are three bags of marbles sitting on a shelf. One is full of red marbles, one is full of blue, and the other is mixed. They are all labled incorrectly. Without looking into the bags, how many marbles would you have to pull out until you could identify which bags contained which marbles correctly?

Because if he didn't take the key out of the bucket, he couldn't unlock the doors?

My guess: The water froze at night, keeping the key safe, and melted in the morning.

Or because the cold water would make a surprised burglar go "AHH!" xd

One; the rest is logic. You start by taking a marble out of the bag labeled "mixed", and, assuming for this puzzle we pull out a red one, that bag must be the bag of red marbles. That leaves you with the bags labeled "red" and "blue". The bag labeled "blue" doesn't contain red [in bag labeled "mixed"] or blue [labels are wrong] specifically, so it must be the bag of mixed marbles. Therefore, the bag labeled "red" must contain the blue marbles. :3
