Hello everyone. I'm new to this guild and glad to be here. I am going through my first pregnancy, and wondering if anyone else is going through the same or is a new mother? I'd like to talk and ask questions, so if anyone feels up to talking to me and maybe giving me some advice or experiences they've had, I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise I created this thread as a place to talk about the ups and downs of parenthood as well as other things besides. So, feel free to talk it up. 4laugh

Awesome, I'm not a mother yet, but I want to be someday. *nods* =D Good luck with the baby though, and I hope you make a lot of new friends here on the AoG.

I'm hoping I make a lot of new friends as well.
I'm so excited about being a mother, although I'm
nervous and worried as well. It's a mix of feelings.
I'll worry about something happening to this baby up
until I give birth and then after. >.< My maternal instinct
is up on high.

Congrats on you bundle of joy, ^_^ yes thats normal to have your maternal instincts to be on high with the first baby. I remember when I was pregnate with A Dreams Nightmare, I was on edge for the first three months then excited the second three months, and the last three I was ready for the pregnancy to be over, but I wouldn't give up that experience for anything, I loved it when she moved that is the most amazing feeling ever.

Awww.... Congratulations a million x over..... I have two children, both female..... 19 and 27. They are the joys of my life... My advice: treasure every moment... even the pregnancies... cause they grow up so so fast..... and the good times will never cease....

Thank you all so much. I'm happy to have found this guild. ^.^ I'm very much excited about this whole experience. I'm so ready for me to be able to feel the baby, and I know it isn't far off but it feels like it's taking forever and like it's moving too fast all at once. xp I'm many different emotions all at once. But I'm loving the experience. I know that each pregnancy is different, just like every child is, so I'm trying to enjoy every minute of it. 3nodding I'm happy for all of you who already have your own children. I've loved children my entire life. When I was a toddler I was obsessed with babies, and as I grew older I began to love all children the older I got and the more I saw of them. I think being a parent is going to be the best experience of my life. 3nodding heart
I'm not a slave to a world that doesn't give a s**t....
