There is who goes to my school and church I like. I was wandering what I should do. I know I want become his freind first but am not sure how to go about it. Do I go right up to him and start talking to him or should I do it gradually. Can you guys pray for me that I will have wisdom on what to do and that threw out the whole situtation I won't turn my eyes aways God. I have had that problem before.

Girl! I'm having the EXACT same problem here! I'm so desperate for making friends with the opposite sex. Now look - I'm not hungry for sin, if that's what it looks like. No, you see, I've bee homeschooled pretty much long enough to make me feel lonely. And well, I want to make friends, now that the oppurtunity to go to one public school class course, and to work, where there is one boy that I work with once a week. I'm dealing with the same problem...how can initiate contact? I'm hoping for some advice along with ya, ^_^

Each guy is different, so I don't think I can give you an absolute answer on what to do... but I guess what I'll say apply to the vast majority of guys out there.
If you are just looking for the friendship of that guy, there's no problem in you taking the iniciative and talking to him. If you are both in the same environment (just like you say: in your church and in your school), approaching him shouldn't be a problem. Remember that we are normal people too (although sometimes it seems we aren't xd ), and just like you do, we like having new friends.
You could just go and introduce yourself before him, or while being near him, make a comment about something that is happening around, so to start a conversation. Or ask another person to introduce you to him. There are many ways to do it. smile

Thanks for standing up to us. And don't worry, we never said that you guys weren't normal ^_^
Personally, I think that *introverted girls are the ones who have more trouble approaching the opposite sex.
*Psst...Hey, girls, don't hate me - I'm introverted too!!! And there's nothing wrong with that
