I just heard from my dad (who heard from someone) that Kylie IS the TARDIS... like the personification of it not just like rose who absorbed it, though that has been a rumor too as far as I can think. and was just wondering if anyone else had heard this rumor? if so... I wonder what she will be weaing? I mean what would a tardis wear? confused

Yeah, I heard that, but I don't know if it's true or not. It seems to be based on the fact that her character name in Voyage Of The Damned is Astrid, which is an anagram of TARDIS. She is wearing a waitress outfit throughout the show.

Well, that's certainly interesting. It'd be a good twist though, surprisingly, that little leak doesn't make me want to kill myself. biggrin Can't wait for it to come out!

Well, after Professor Yana and the identity of the face of Boe, it doesn't seem so surprising confused Who'll be next? Maybe Donna is actually a spy for the time agency? biggrin Still, a personification of the TARDIS has the potential to be very interesting! Maybe because she was damaged, she had to try and help the doctor in another way? If, as rumored, they share a kiss, that would then make heaps more sense, the Doctor does love his TARDIS wink

I would never be able to to take that seriously after having read 'The Potential Companion's Guide to the Tardis'. It's just weird, even when you're not meant to take it seriously.

I think it's true. These sort of stupid things keep increasingly happening in doctor who, but we have to trust RTD to not make it make it seem like the wierdest and stupidest idea in the shows history.

Takuha I think it's true. These sort of stupid things keep increasingly happening in doctor who, but we have to trust RTD to not make it make it seem like the wierdest and stupidest idea in the shows history. I'm with Takuha... this is the sort of idea that RTD seems to think is really clever, but sounds kind of lame. Like the YANA thing, the seemingly random Torchwood references in series 2, and Jack = FOB. Astrid = Tardis... god, please, no... I'd really hate to see the Doctor falling in love with his friggin' time machine. That reminds me of Andromeda, that goofy 'Hercules in Space' TV show from a while back. I wish they'd dispense with such cheesy ideas and stick to solid storytelling. PLEASE.
