After the discussion with her dear old friend Boma'burudi, Mtima'safi found herself once again in the Pridelands. She was not too far into the lands, and was being a little bit cautious about making herself known. She still had some lions here she wished to avoid, and she still wished to respect the possibility that some did not want to believe in or know about gods- but as was her style since leaving, she refused to mask her wings. As the goddess walked, she kept her eyes open for any others- one particular lioness was more important to find, but she also hoped she'd be able to find Boma's boy, and Kia's bunch.. that would certainly make her quite happy. The cubs would, at least- she doubted running into Amadet would be too pleasant.
One other lion came to mind, but she was not so keen to meet him. She felt almost like she should check on him, just because she knew Amadet was (or had been) in the area. Wahabu would just have to wait, though.. Mtima had yet to work up the courage to put herself at risk of meeting him face to face again.
Until then, she was content to keep an eye out for Amadet and the mysterious bunch of cubs she knew nothing about except at least half of their parentage and the memory of their new souls.

Ezekiel was not too far from home this time around. He was not gonna hunt today, he was just not in the mood. He was more preoccupied how to better himself about talking to females. The blush was said to be cute. The way he talked was the same as always, polite and always full manner. Now, he was not afraid to get close to her and touch her. Stranger or not, to be friends and talk with another, they must establish a connection. He was more about his appearance and his smile became more charming, focused on the female population. He was becoming more like his Uncle but something is telling him not to change completely... something in his heart. Even now he feels like he is missing something, but he cannot tell what...
He sat up under the tree and contemplated of what he was missing. Was it his mother? Well of course he missed her, he loved her so much how could he ever forget? She must have been busy with her own things to visit. He missed his father terribly. TERRIBLY! The face he saw every morning when he awoke, the face he saw when he awoke after the morning run. The one who took him to the Beach and everywhere around the Pride Lands... he was off without him and it felt strange that when he ran in the morning that he was not there with him...
He sighed and looked up into the sky, the clouds passing by. It seemed like those weren't the reason. He sighed and leaned back against the tree.
What was missing? Feathers? He had a few of those, perhaps not enough. Females? He saw those everyday. Parents were busy... What was missing?

Ezekiel was not moving a great deal, and Mtima was actually quite close by before she even realized that there was someone sitting beneath that particular tree. Mtima paused in her walking to take a look at the creature. Even at a distance, she couldn't see any true potential for danger within him.. and he looked rather preoccupied with the sky. His colors, she noticed, reminded her very much of the Pridelands and what she had seen of the royal family.
Deciding it was worth investigating, and perhaps seeking some assistance, Mtima stepped closer and cleared her throat to make herself known so she wouldn't startle him by suddenly appearing at his side while he was distracted- if he were indeed so intensely pondering.
"Hello there," she called.

Zeki looked over his shoulder with awesome red eyes. They glew in the sunlight piercing through the her body and staring right back at her. At first, he cocked a brow, taking in her features. First were her eyes, a beautiful hazy gold color. The trinkets upon her head, a circlet, and the silver heart placed upon her golden collar. Her pasty yellow fur looked dim in the moonlight, but he could picture if it were day. Lastly were her wings, those that proved she was of the exalted, the Gods and Goddesses. He simply smirked, having his fair share of them already at his age. But that did not mean she would get no respect being a Goddess and a female.
He rose to his feet and gave a rather graceful bow before collecting himself, flipping his mane from his eyes so he could see her properly.
"Good day, M'lady Goddess. Well, I must say I was not expecting to see one so soon. Usually it would be at least a few moons before I meet another one," he smiled softly, his voice sort of lofty and yet strong, bold, confident. The other day he had met the Goddess of the Earth... or something like that. He remembered her eyes. Her face. Her body. Her wings. And that annoying sound she made, annoying but interesting.
Zeki's gaze looked around to see if any other had noticed her come. He had not heard her walk over, perhaps she flew? Then he would have noticed her flapping wings, the landing thud, and the gust of air that she would have beated. But why was she here and why did she choose him to speak to?
"How may I be an assistance to you?"

Mtima watched the young lion's reaction with pride, always enjoying this moment- at least when it was not a bad reaction. Clearly he was impressed, on some level at least.. or so she liked to think. The smile and bow was enough to confirm her suspicion, and she offered a nod in response. When he spoke, she was very impressed with his polite address and almost surprised when he mentioned how it was not usually so soon that he meant another one. Clearly she was not the only god he'd met before, not even the only one recently. How interesting!
"Ah, you have seen others lately?" she asked, taking a moment to glance around them and wonder who could possibly be around here. There were several gods she knew had been in the area before, perhaps it was one of them. Conveniently, her looking around coincided with his looking around and she looked back just in time to be asked how he could help.
"I was hoping you might be able to assist me in finding some lions that live here," she explained brightly, "I realize it might not be so easy, I don't know what they look like or even their names. You look about the right age, perhaps you are friends.."

"A few in my life time. Desert has tried to attack me once when I trespassed upon her desert sands. Tornado granted me the experience to see the true strength of her powers. Lost has helped my find my way back. Earth has let me know more about the earth than I would have though. And now, here you are, Goddess," he replied, naming off the Goddesses he had met. Obtaining a feather from a few of them for his own reasons. He cherished them and kept them in a very secure, secretive place. This yellow Goddess seesms very pleasant, she did not question nor did she speak of domaninating authority, he liked this.
Zeki raised to his feet again, rolling his shoulders with a smirk.
"I am friends with many of the Pride Landers, some of the Royal Family of the current rulers. I know lions from the seashore, those of the distant rogue lands, and some from the swamps. I am sure I will be of any assistance to anyone, especially a female who doesn't mind my company, of course," he dipped his head again. He was telling no lie when he said he known lions from those areas. His father took him to a lot of places where he met a lot of lions and faces. He was a very likable guy it seemed when he was younger and plained on meeting them again in the future.
"Tell me about these lions you are looking for... what was your name, Miss?"

The goddess listened carefully to the list of gods that he had met in his lifetime. She did not know those he named personally, except perhaps Earth should he be referring to Boma'burudi. But of that she could not be sure, and she would not ask right now as it was not the point of her current venture. "That is an impressive list," she complimented brightly, "Perhaps you will soon be able to add that you helped Souls."
Mtima was equally impressed, and a bit more pleased, to hear the list of the mortals that he knew- for the more he knew the better chance there was of him being helpful! Not to mention, traveling far and having so many friends was a wonderful thing for a mortal. Even Mtima'safi knew that; it was something she wished for her own mortal children.
"How rude of me! My name is Mtima'safi, and I am the goddess of souls," she introduced herself with a half-nod, half-bow, "I am looking for a group of at most 5 siblings, with an absent mother. I could not say what they would look like, except that perhaps there would be some browns in their fur, feather markings, spotted tips of the ears, perhaps even a cross over an eye. Similar to mine, but whole." The goddess carefully turned her head so that Ezekiel could see clearly the half a cross that was over her golden eye. With her head angled to the side, she watched him hopefully. Would he know of Kia's cubs?

"It is, I always thought that the Gods were rather elusive beings that tried to avoid mortals to prevent interference with their duties to their domain. I plan to meet a lot more, as my name suggests, I believe they will be the ones to help me in my own endeavors," he chuckled softly. He had longed believed that his name, 'God's Will Strengthens', that the Gods will help him become a strong lion. In his own mind, strong enough to protect everyone. However, Gods cannot just caste a spell or something so he sought a more optimal way to keep the powers of the Gods with him. Their feathers. A part of a god must hold some amount of their power, otherwise, why do they have them? He had long believed this and slowly sought out the feathers of the Gods he encountered. Another name to his was very intriguing, but he did not need that to motivate him to help.
"Oh how rude of me to ask for yours without giving my own. My name's Ezekiel, but please call me Zeki," he gave his own full bow. "Mtima'safi, Goddess of Souls. Now that is an intersting domain to have, and quite a beautiful appearance to match."
Zeki paused to think. 5 Siblings who are brown with feather marks and spotted ears. He tried to think hard about it of who it might be. Perhaps he knew at least one of them... but who? Then it hit him, Sineri! Shaji! He knew them!
"Oh! Uncle Ezeoha's cubs? My cousin?" he paused... Goddess of Souls seeking his cousins? . . . one would definitely suspect something. He would rather not put them in any danger but Mtima had shown no harm to him... but he should be cautious, not letting on about his paranoia. "Why are you looking for them, Mtima?"

"Sometimes they are, but other times they are very much involved with mortals. It's not entirely unheard of to befriend mortals, or even have a family of mortals," she explained vaguely with a small smile. Mtima considered several mortals to be her friends, those lions who resided here among the best of those friends, and of course, she had her two children. She wrinkled her nose a moment as she considered what Zeki said about gods helping him with his own endeavors, and his name.
"I'm sure if you help me, Zeki, I will do my best to assist you in some way," she offered brightly, and beamed fondly at him when he complimented her domain and appearance. She liked this young lion, very polite- and compliments never went unnoticed. As he thought about her description, she waited patiently and was even a bit startled at how quickly he was able to recall someone fitting that description.
"Your cousins? You know them, then?" she questioned, looking at first delighted and then a bit put off about questioning her intentions, "A god's business is their own, though I suppose mortals would be curious- or worried. I know their mother, and I knew her mother. I simply hoped to see them, check in, especially after hearing that Kia did not stay."

"That's quite interesting, Mtima'safi, a family of mortals? To think that a God would love a Mortal, but then again, love has no bounds. Love is love, not age nor gender so I cannot say what is and what isn't," he spoke rather sagely. He did not know that Gods could have a mortal family. This meant that the God must have mated with a female who produced cubs. Or a male mated with a Goddess to have produced cubs. Interesting subject to say the least and the thought of what their offsprings would look, would be like tickled his mind. "Do you have a family with mortals, Mtima'safi? If you do not wish to answer, that is fine."
"Well, what should say I should not! Being a female and a Goddess, no less, you deserve any help you could get. I offer my assistance and I shall help to all I can," he smiled. She liked her a lot, she was kind and nice. She was humble and her voice was rather adoring. Her wings compelled him to touch them and the marks on her body were enticing to touch. But he must not touch a Goddess, nor any female, without her out spoken permission.
"Well, I have heard my Uncle speak of their mother a little, how she left them. If this Kia you are talking about is the mother, then I am sure that this little of adults are the very same lions you are looking for. Heh, won't Shaji get a kick out of meeting a female like you, he'll blush like the sky turns red at sunset," Zeki chuckled at the thought of his rather adorably shy cousin. He was positive that the siblings that she was seeking was none other than the cousins he was living with. Plus, she would like to meet the male who sired them. The male rose to his feet, but not without a quick shake, and started off. His fur was so clean and his body was almost in perfect posture that it was hard to tell that his back was still healing some.
"Follow me, I'll take you there."

Mtima was surprised, but not too surprised, that Zeki did not know that immortals could have families with mortals. It wasn't something most gods might speak of, especially if they worried a great deal about the life of their loved ones. Mtima might worry herself sick about Wahabu, and even Kilango, but she was far from denying their existence. When asked about them, she knew even if she lied there was always a chance of him spotting Wahabu somewhere out here- and him bearing such a strong resemblance, of course he would know as soon as he saw him.
"I did have a family with mortals," she said carefully, choosing 'did' over 'do' because of her rather recent abandonment of them, "Have you not seen my son? He lives around here somewhere, there would be no mistaking him as my own."
Mtima nodded as Zeki explained his reasoning for thinking that his uncle's cubs would be the ones she was looking for. The mention of them being adults made her stomach turn just a little bit- everyone grew up fast, but for mortals it was much less pleasant to imagine. Cubs were a lot of fun, but she was just as eager to see them now.
"I'm sure it's them, I trust you'd know what you're talking about," Mtima said confidently, "Thank you very much, Zeki."

"Really? That's really interesting, Mtima'safi. So then you must have been rather happy to have the cubs, and especially so to be with a male that fathered them," he assumed it was the sterotypical way of love. Male loves female. Female loves male. They mate and have cubs. They are happy. Little did he know that not every family was happy with who they were with.
"I am afraid not, miss. If he looked anything like you, I am sure I would have noticed such a handsome male. Afterall, he came from a beautiful female," he complimented with a purr as he walked along. "If I ever find him, I will let him know that his mother is seeking him. I am sure he will be estatic."
Zeki listened on as she thanked him, trusting him. How could she be so trusting? She just met him and he could just be playing her for a fool... now that he thought about it, he was the very same when it came to females. He long believed that if he gave them respect, they would give it in return... sometimes. He smiled and tried to be mannerful as possible.
"They should still be home, maybe a few are still out hunting. I have not actually met all of them really. I see Shaji a lot because he's with Uncle Ez. ... Who should be either napping right now or he's off somewhere."

"I love cubs, I was very happy," Mtima agreed brightly, leaving out the details of the whole situation. It hadn't been a walk in the park, with Kilango being so horrible in the beginning, and then running away.. and of course when Mtima herself chose to leave, unable to watch her much-loved family grow old. She offered a shrug when he mentioned not having seen Wahabu, and couldn't help but beam proudly at the compliments to both her son and her. The goddess was very proud of her son, even if she had issues with watching him grow old- though her pride was part of the problem.
"Perhaps you shouldn't mention it to him, if you see him," she suggested carefully, not wanting to offend Zeki or make him think he'd done something wrong. He hadn't, really, but seeing Wahabu was something she had to do on her own time right now- especially since she left without saying goodbye.
"If they aren't about, I won't mind waiting," Mtima answered brightly, though she was very eager to meet these lions. It had been so simple, it was rather amazing that she'd found just the right lion to ask about all of this.

"Cubs made you happy?" he questioned. He was confused about the subject of it but he was told about it numerous of times. He liked the ideas of having cubs, but when? How will he know when it would be time to do such a thing as mating? With who? He had no mate... he had no idea what to do but he knew he loved the idea of cubs. Perhaps one day...
"If you do not want me to tell your son about you, then that is fine. It's what you want," he spoke politely as he walked on. Zeki did not know why she did not want him to tell her son about her, but if she wanted it to be a surprise than it will be one.
"They are there when they sleep, at least most of them. And making such a beautiful lioness like you wait is a crime in itself. If they aren't there, leave it to me, I'll go fetch them," he chuckled. "I insist."

Mtima smiled at his question about cubs, knowing it was the truth but wondering if she was perhaps giving someone so young some bad ideas. Cubs were a blessing, and usually a joy- even Kilango, for her evil nature as a cub, was loved by her parents. Even the boy that Boma had abandoned was loved, though his mother could not bear to risk seeing him die.
"My son made me very happy," she said finally, deciding to speak only of Habu- who had given her trouble only in the fact that he was mortal, and that was hardly something he could help. "Cubs, in the right situation, can be a blessing."
She nodded gratefully when he said he would not mention her arrival to her son, and was glad he did not question it. Surely Zeki had caught on to how she spoke of him in the past tense, but still said he was alive and well in the Pridelands. Mtima was rather surprised when Zeki insisted he go find those she was looking for if they were not around, and she smiled at him.
"Going so far out of your way for me, I am very grateful," she said brightly, "However could I thank you properly?"
