Finn could admit he was jealous, he had thought that after all those adventures together that the two of them would be best friends. But no, Pumpkin was having loads of fun with Nicky now in the Snow Drop Mountains. Finn still did not like those mountains much, all that snow got to him. His dark eyes took in the darkness of the Nightshade Valley, this was supposed to be their home but Pumpkin refused to think about his kind.
It was as if even though he was a Chinua, it did not matter to him if he ever met another Chinua. For Finn, his lifelong mission was to find another Kirishitsuno and when he finally did he had expected more out of Chastity. He shook his head once more, moving forward slowly across the field. His mist like mane and hair tossed as he walked, his ears perked when he heard slight noises. What to do. He looked around again.

Izayoi walked around Nightshade Valley. He had been here all his life, and the boring place got to him. He loved it here, but once in a while he had this terrible urge to go somewhere new, somewhere fresh where other Hespierden could look up to him. He wanted to find friendship and love. Somehow he believed that far far away from this dark place he would find what he was looking for. He only had to search for a willing companion that would be crazy enough to take up his offer of travelling together with him.
The moon was beginning to crawl into the sky. It didn't matter much here though, since it was pretty dark all day long. He enjoyed to see the moon's bright light casting its glow on his bright coat. He smiled at the moon, and continued his walk. When he heard a few sounds ahead of him, he slightly stopped. The creature ahead of him was a dark tone, so it was hard to make out its silhouette in this already dark place. His pace dropping, he slowly made his way towards the figure.

Finn took a nibble on one of the bushes. He chewed slow, his head throbbing with his thoughts. He was going to be obsessed with thinking soon, unless he met another Hespierden of any sort to converse with. Being along for too long was having an effect on him, maybe not that great of a effect either. He was about to reach down for another bite when he noticed it.
Another male, like him. His heart pounded in his chest, and he grinned. His eyes turned bright and he pranced like a foal, over to the other Kirishitsuno. That one stood out so well, unlike him who blended in mostly. Reaching the other he grinned right at him. Finally I am not alone anymore. Hello, I am Finn. He sent telepathically to the other, head tilting in anticipation. He wondered if he was too pushy, sending his name at once.

Izayoi let out a frightened whimper and sprang back. He had never experienced such a scare as of yet. Oh my goodness! he exclaimed. What was that for? he tried to regain his balance, struggling to get up. Once he managed to get to his feet, he held his head up high as if nothing had happened and smiled happily at the stranger.
Hello there, Finn. I'm Izayoi. Nice to meet you! he examined the Kiri. He was very dark, and had silver markings all over his body. He even had a silver mane and tail, and a small spider dangled off his horn. Very, interesting... Izayoi thought to himself. No wonder he hadn't seen Finn before. He was so darkly colored that it wouldn't be difficult to miss him. He certainly fitted perfectly in Nightshade Valley.

He backed up, blinking at the other's actions. You scared of me? Finn knew he was big but well so was this one, they were the same size pretty much. He stared long at the the other Kirishitsuno before dropping his gaze. He eyed the grass, thoughtful. He hoped he wasn't scary looking, maybe it was the spider? He guess that could be frightening enough. Well not to him. He pawed at the grass, wondering.
Hearing the words sent to him by the other Kirishitsuno made him look over. If Kirishitsuno's could grin then he was definately grinning. His eyes shined bright, and he felt relieved that the other found that it was nice to meet him. It's great to meet you too, Izayoi. You stay in the Nightshade Valley always? Maybe the majority of Kirishitsuno's stayed here. Finn came here loads but he went other places too.

Oh yes I've been living here all my life. It's the most boring place in the entire universe don't you think? he said to Finn, his new friend. He looked down at the spot where Finn had been looking at. A small patch of grass grew. He bent down and took a bite of the green stuff which he hated so, just to be doing something at the moment.
So, do you live here too? I haven't seen many Kiris around here... he explained. He only met his parents when he was born and never saw them again. He was left to fend for himself here. It wasn't a very difficult place to live. He didn't have to battle with the elements, or search for food. Everything was here for him. No one noticed him, and he didn't notice anyone. Nightshade Valley was a very solitary place... That was why he wanted to go somewhere where he could be noticed.

He stared long at Izayoi before turning to look around. Nightshade Valley had never seemed boring to him but maybe that was because he was only alone for a little before Pumpkin had come along. What if....what if it was a boring place but he had never noticed that. He surveyed the area once more before turning back to the other Kirishitsuno.
I have never thought of it as boring. The Snowdrop Mountains are more boring, all there is is snow there. Nothing but snow. But here there is much more things to see, with all the trees and fields. The entire valley is magnificent with the darkness pouring all about. He sighed, he truly did love the place. He watched Izayoi eat the grass, he bent to nibble on some also.
The next words from Izayoi made him freeze. Finn rose his head and shook his head, tossing his mane about. Then I am not the only one who hasn't met many Kiri's, I thought I was the only Kiri around for so long. But then once she came to our family home I knew there was hope again and I started to come back here more and more. Then I found you. Finn paused. No I do not live here, though I think I should since I come here so often but Pumpkin likes the family home so we always went back.
