Sawa smiled as he lay near a watering hole, staring at his reflection. He was not conseated, honestly! He'd just spent too much time looking like his best friend in the whole world, thanks to the god of creativety. He'd been wooing a lady in a rather 'i'm doing something good for Siyo' way of thinking and still needed more time. But three days had passed and he wanted to spend some time looking like himself before finding the god again. Laini wouldn't be going anywhere.
He had left Nadra and Siyo to their own devices a bit closer to the pridelands. Sometimes he just had too much of the little white minx always cuddling and purring and well.. you get the picture. It was adorable but it tired him out. And it was a little embaressing to be that way in front of his friend. He was sure it would calm in due time though, and would be easier once Siyo was stuck in the dawn walker pride with his new foundforced mate.
His tail flicked and he shifted, finally rolling onto his back to watch the sky for a little while. He was thinking about maybe Rhino Baiting today but he wasn't sure Nadra would like that. Oh maybe he could stir up some trouble in the two-leg territory! He smiled as he thought of all the possibilities.
His ears twitched and he lifted his head, able to hear something that didn't quite fit his surroundings.

She would no doubt, later blame her thirst for the whole encounter, however, as it was, Kianga had no way of knowing that her small trip to the water hole would probe to be life-shattering. In fact, upon arriving on scene, the lioness seemed to be minding her own business sparing the male a mere glance before she elegantly dipped her head to lap up the water from the pool at her feet. He didn't seem to be a threat to her, for the time being. At least not an imminent one, at any rate, she figure as she drank up the liquid, feeling it cascade down her dry throat.
The trip there had been tiring to a point she wasn't all that she she wanted a repeat; ever since the 'shadows' had talked to her, Kianga had searched for the pride they had indicated her towards. To no avail; she'd seen no pride. Eventually, the pink femme had giving up and instead focused herself on survival, working her way out of those lands, and onto the next ones.
Truthfully, she missed the comfort of a pride; those days, seemingly so long ago, where she'd belonged to a pride were missed dearly. The lioness to gossip around, and the King to look up to; it was all missed. Instead, now Kianga found herself having to hunt on her lonesome (a task that she was able to pull off well, regardless of the fact she'd have leapt up at the idea of assistance from other females). The plague had forced her pride to be dismantled, and ever since she'd found herself alone; she'd barely interacted with others, really. It wasn't that she wasn't social, but rather, that she preferred to stay out of trouble.
As soon as she finished drinking, she lifted her head to gaze at the male, only barely before narrowing her eyes; something at the back of her mind screamed 'evil' at her. Perhaps it was his colors, or perhaps the way he regarded his reflection on the pool; whatever the reason, Kianga instantly decided she did not like him. Walking away would be seen as rude though, so instead she did the next best thing her mind supplied; she lifted a paw and groomed herself. Though her eyes never landed on him, and for all effects she seemed to be ignoring him, had he moved, she'd have instantly reacted; one of her ears was focused on his form, waiting for him to either talk, or leave.
Hopefully the later. She wanted to take a bath.

Sawa's nose twitched and he watched slowly as the light colored female walked past him, to the watering hole and sat. Not even a hello? He frowned lightly but it was quickly replaced by what he thought to be (and was generally considered by others) to be a charming smile. He sat himself up, shaking off the bit of dust on his fur.
"Why 'ello there gorgeous." He purred out, tail curling around his paws. Ah! She was ignoring him, wasn't she? Well he'd soon find out. But in his mind a female who ignored was simply adorable, and even more fun to 'win over'.
His bright eyes roamed over her body quickly, from the pink to the wing-like markings on her back back to the purple eyes. She was stunning! Well... most females Sawa ran into were thought to be stunning.
He wondered breifly if she was from the pridelands but immediately disregarded the thought. She had that hard, slightly dangerous look of a rogue that could still be elegant and stunning, which she managed to pull off well. But who knew, maybe she'd joined recently.
He generally judged most of the prideland females to be a bit soft looking, small and deligate but still amazing. All girls were amazing, weren't they?

"Why 'ello there gorgeous."
Her eyes narrowed further till they were near slits; a feline gesture as Kianga watched the male warily. By then, she had however, decided to turn grace him with her gaze, purples eyes sweeping over him before she frowned, "Excuse you?" she breathed softly, her body straightening, almost as if he'd actually insulted her, rather than having complimented her as he had. She went as far as taking a small glance around her, almost as if briefly expecting him to be talking to someone else, because surely he couldn't be referring to her, could he?
A second sweep of her eyes around the area confirmed that yes, the male was, in fact, talking to her.
Kianga frowned up at him, her brows knitting together in mild consternation before she huffed loudly and turned to look away from him in mild irritation, her long, groomed tail, thumping the ground beside her. It showed how annoyed she was; she'd earlier categorised him as evil, and his few poorly chosen... words had just proven her right, at least in her mind (and really, trying to convince her of the opposite was as large a feat as moving a mountain).
Despite being intelligent, Kianga was fast to judge, and fast to categorise others; she was also rather narrow-minded. It might have been due to the fact she'd, in past time, belonged to a more traditional pride, with one male ruling over several female. Alas, for whatever the reason, she found Sawa's approach rather uninteresting. Or at least, that what it seemed at first glance, for the female seemed content with looking away, her nose stuck in the air in an almost petulant way.
Maybe she should just find another water hole to swim in, she thought as her white tipped tail came to curl around her paws. The thought lasted a bare two moments in her mind before she turned to offer the male a glare, "Go away," she stated, "You look evil. I don't associate with the likes of you," whatever she meant was his guess entirely, for she picked that moment to look away indignantly again, nose in the air.

He blinked and his head tilted. Did she want him to repeat himself, had she possibly not heard? Oh wait.. why was she looking around like that? As she glanced around for someone he might be speaking to he looked around to, just to try and see what she was trying to see. Well... nothing was there!
He was about to repeat himself when she told him to go away! His eyebrows climbed high and he just watched her a moment, looking a little surprised. Never in his short life time had that small, almost insignificant, line got him told to move it! It had always gotten him the name he was searching for. He couldn't quite believe she really wanted him to leave... that was ridiculous!
Wait... so he looked evil and she didn't... what the hell was she talking about? His tail twitched and he frowned a moment, trying to figure it out, and then brightened. "Don' play 'ard teh ge', s'no fun. C'mon, wha's yer name?" He asked again, obviously looking for trouble.
He stood and stretched, but made no move toward her. Nor did he move to leave! "'Sides I was 'ere first." Childish. "I'm Sawa by the by, c'mon now. See, it's easy teh introduce yerself.." He teased very slightly.
Oh this uptight, almost pristine manner in which she was holding herself! Perhaps she was from the pridelands.
Well if she wasn't going to give her name he was going to try and give a conversation anyways. "Tcht, my guess on firs' impression was tha' yeh were a rogue with yer build bu' I guess yeh jus' migh' fi'teh the pridelands af'er all." He meant that she was acting like a stuck up little princess. Was he put off by it? No but he still wanted to mention it.
"So which is it? Rogue or Pri'lander?"

She frowned openly at him, her expression turning grimmer as the minute went by, her maw set into one thin line before her lips parted in what jmight have looked like something between a growl and a grimace, "Do learn correct use of the vocal language before addressing me; your slaughtering of it makes me want to kill myself," a pause as her brows knitted even further together, "That, and I can't understand half what you're saying," which was, in fact, true.
Huffing and sticking her nose in the air was producing little effect, aparently, so thus, the female allowed her eyes to become heavy lidded, going for a 'bored' approach to situation instead, as the previous one was not only not working... but something at the back of her head told her that it was actualy, somehow, encouraging him, "Kianga, if you must know," her lips curling into an irritated growl, her tail thumping the ground beside her legs to prove her restlessness, "I belong to no one, not that you care, you word-murderer; also, what kind of a name is Sawa? It sounds girlish; and I changed my mind; you're not evil, you're simply a moron, which by the way, it far worse than the former."
She had half a mind to simply get up and walk away (there were other water holes in the surrounding area, after all) when she paused, her head turning to face him slightly, her frame though elegantly built, having been touched, no doubt, by her time spent as a rogue, "What, exactly, is your deal anyhow," she snorted through her nose, a puff... a breath to signal that she still didn't like him, and she still didn't trust him. Even if she was curious; curiosity killed the cat, she knew, but still, there was an almost morbid pleasure in trying to understand this vile, vile beast before her, "You were nothing like My King. He was a knight. You're a scoundrel, and my physique, which perfect, by the way, I just DARE you to come down here and challenge me to a fight, is none of your bussiness."
Blunt, curt, and thought polite, it was obvious Kianga was lossing her already warily thin patience, "May I please have the pool to my lonesome now?" she turned and sat facing him again, lifting a paw to move it in the air, amusingly enough shooing him away, like one would an unworthy creature, "Shoo now. Go on! Shoo! Don't you have someone else to bother?" was it any wonder she had few friends as it was? Kianga had found few creatures she'd liked to sociolise with, ever since her pridal days; there was a reason for this, of course. Due to the fact she was alone, her sense of self-preservation kept her away from others, scared of tying herself down to anyone that might bring her down. She still had some sort of hope her King and her pride had survived the plague; maybe she would find them, in due time. Little did she know they were far gone and dead, and that she alone, was the probably the sole surivor of those glorious days.

Talk about a slap in the face! Correct use of the vocal language? He was speaking fine! Well.. sure sometimes it gave other's trouble but never had he been insulted about the way he spoke. He was probably lucky she could only tear apart half of the things he said and stomp on him for it! He was half ready to flee, like she was hinting for him to do... but he was also... enticed. He felt this a challenge, a very challenge on his very character and he should completely change her stuck up mind about him! Well, that's what she would get for bumping into someone so competitive, right?
First of all he should probably try to sound out his words slower for her, if that would get him in her favor. And the fact that she eventually gave her name (Kianga, it was beautiful!) only encouraged him to bother her further, in fact it made it firmer in his mind that she was indeed playing hard to get. "M'sorry, I'll speak... a bi' slower fer yeh." He offered, face still twisted into confusion over what was happening. Never had he ran into a female he couldn't immediately 'fall in love with' just a little bit. And while she was beautiful and her manner was some how attractive... he almost felt as though he should be exchanging insults with her, like when he and Siyo got into verbal tiffs and had gos at each other. "An' I do....not think any'un should kill 'emselves over how someone else speaks." He frowned, shaking his head and chuckling.
Word-murderer? Well her insults were getting duller and duller. At least they weren't making him feel... that horrible about himself any longer! "Bu' yeh do have a pre'y name, I'm glad yeh finally told me it." He smirked, to show just how pleased she finally surrendered to his asking of it. And why wouldn't he care where she belonged if he'd asked the question? She really was a piece of work. No... maybe he shouldn't be trying to charm this one!
Moron? This time he coughed and rolled his eyes, turning as if to surrender to her wishes. "Aye, aye. I'm sure I be a bit brighter than yeh shoul' be imaginin'." He muttered. What was his deal? Was she for real, asking him something like that when she obviously had the deal. Or something. "An' I do be glad I am nothin' like yer king seeing as I am not something so pompous.." He chuckled, now just looking at the horizon instead of her. His voice had gotten a bit softer, a little hurt, and less determined. How was he supposed to show what a good fellow he was to someone so set on thinking he was a creep for sure? A moronic creep! "An' I do not fight girls." He spat out, glancing over his shoulder, looking surprised. He didn't see fit to fight anyone at all, male or female. He wondered what type of 'good' lions she knew that would challenge her to a fight?
"Yeah. Yeh can 'ave the 'ole world to yer lonesome lil' self." He said, with a bit of a sneer in his voice. Sawa was... crushed. But he managed to emphasize lonesome. If she wanted to be lonely than fine! "An' yes, I 'ave plenty of friends who I can bother. I'd say I hope the same for you but I highly doubt an'un could put up with your crumby attitude for more than a little while at best.
He started to walk away but hesitate. Oh he just wanted to shove her small body right into that water! Give her something to really complain about instead of picking on him for stupid things like his name and his speech! "An' forget Sawa, my name is Ushaufu." He grumbled as his last words, not sure why. Perhaps he was a bit embarrassed that she thought his self proclaimed nickname being girly. He'd not given his real name since Siyo had come upon him when they were juveniles, that was a long time ago too.

A sneer was her first inmediate answer to him; a slight uplifting of her lip, signaling she was no doubt superior to him in every single way she could think of. She'd been watching him wince, further and further away from her, recoiling just a milimeter further with each verbal attack till he was just about ready to leave, "Yes well, what good is talking to someone when that someone can't very well understand you? It's called Comunication for a reason; learn to talk instead of trying to put the moves on every female you see walking on her four legs."
The fact he was a flirt had not been missed by Kianga; oh no. Not at all. In fact, his very form seemed to scream something along the lines of 'Bachelor! Take me if you will, while I'm still hot!'. Of course, she knew better; she knew of this type of male, always eager to 'prey' on any sweet lithe female they found, only waiting for the right moment to dump them before going onto the next. Well, she had news for this one; Not her. She'd not be made a fool of. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever, she thought firmly, allowing her purple eyes to narrowing to slits for emphasis.
Kianga wasn't all that old; in fact, she was still rather young. Inexperienced in the ways of life, and certainly having been secluded by both her pride and roaming ways after it'd been disbanded; this no doubt played a factor in her attitude and ways towards others, and was certainly not gaining her any friends either, really, "As far as I'm aware of, I'm not killing you; I'm merely insulting you. There is a clear diference," the sneer had vanished by then, but her head had lifted in a regal manner; haughty, resembling a petulant child whom never thought she was wrong, no matter the situation at hand, "I don't know about you being brighter," she countered with a soft, graceful snort, "You've given me no reason thus far to believe otherwise, and thus I shall not, unless showed otherwise. Now if you'll excuse me, I would, in fact, much rather being alone, as you put it, than wrongly, and badly acompained," it seemed the pink, soft-spoken female had no problem with verbal banter, and was, in fact, quite good at it, "And you, are not doubt both wrong, and bad company. So shoo."
Making a show of waving her hand as if to an insistent, slow child, the female sneered again. Of course, it must've been rather comical how she paused mid both actions, a brow arching, actual mirth shinning in her eyes for the first time since they'd met, "Ushaufu," it was amusing to note that when she wasn't adding insults to her phrases, her voice had an almost sweet tone to it; no doubt attractive at least, for it showed intelligence, "Deception; that's a much better name."
She knew that word, and found it idly ironic; he might've been surprised by her last few words, or maybe he wasn't. There was no time to gauge a reaction from the male, for Kianga suddenly found herself slipping on the mud as she took a step forward towards the water hole; of course, it hadn't been entirely her fault. The fact she'd been watching male with an arched brow, amused at the irony of his name had played a crucial part in her fall. The karma that had suddenly decided to attack the lioness didn't quite end there either; her body slipped on the mud, her paw twisting painfuly into an awkward position as she tried to regain her balance...
This, as Kianga would soon enough find out, had been a bad idea. Not only did it painfully sprain her right forepaw, but it sent her tumbling towards the shore, her head smacking also quite painfuly against a rock before hre form slipped into the water, half unconcious and quite helpless to do anything but suck a deep breath in before sinking into the the water-hole.

He never thought he'd meet someone that he would like to shut sound off because of. If only he could stop listening to her words! But no, once a ladies voice always an open ear. It was terrible in this situation! She just dumped on all of his defenses with out a blink of the eye! Or so it seemed to him.
And then.... then she complimented him? The absurdity of it all caused him to turn around in surprise, because he wasn't expecting her to say anything good about him, least likely about something he had decided was a bad and poor name. How could anyone say the name of deception was something good? Unless she meant it was a better name in explaining his character, which he did not think so at all! He had been about to say so, that it wasn't a better name, when suddenly she slipped!
His eyes widened and he winced when her head hit the rock and his mouth hung open slightly. Oh gods! Why did this have to happen while he was around? He'd probably be blamed!
He moved forward quickly enough and shifted her, teeth clamping lightly down around her neck fur before pulling her out of the water and dragging her on dry land, shifting and moving in front of her. He was leaning down, his face close to hers, trying to see what sort of state she was in. Still awake... that was good, right? "Kianga! Are yah alrigh'?" His voice was quiet and worried but he was making sure she would not fall asleep, he had a bad feeling about the thought of her falling asleep.
Maybe she should have been paying more attention to the water than seeing if her insults stung! It was a bitter thought and he hadn't wanted to think it but he could not help it. Was she this way only because he was his way or was she insulting to everyone she met? It made his head hurt immensely. "Do no' go teh sleep, yeh 'ear me?" What else was he supposed to do?

"Do no' go teh sleep, yeh 'ear me?"
His voice came oozing towards her from the darkness; she knew it was him, too, because of the accent. It was distracting enough that she was able to focuss on it instead of the mild numbness that was threatening to overcome her, "Hmmm..... 'shau....fu?" the words were mumbled through the haze, barely even whispered, however, with how near he was to her, it was probable he'd heard her; at least enough to know she was still there, with him, and not too far gone.
Of course, needless to say, she soon enough noticed that his body was pressed against her, and that the numbness was being replaced with a dull throb that indicated both a headache and pain. His words had had their purpose; she was awake. And hurting, to boot. Kianga wasn't all too sure she'd have not rather being asleep; at least the pain would have vanished.
A long hiss escaped her maw, the breath of air released through clenched teeth as she forced her eyes to open; they were unfocused at best, his form over her blurry as she tried to move. However, even despite this, one thing was clear to the lioness; he had saved her. It was something she couldn't deny. It was a fact. Undenyable, "It hurts," she stated plainly at him, her bitting tone gone, replaced with a slightly softer one; of course this could easily have been due to the pain that lashed through her body, specialy in her head, and paw, "Is it broken?" she hadn't asked him directly so much as voicing her wildest fear; lifting her front paw, she moved it right and left, up and down, wincing as she did so. She soon came to the realisation that no, her paw wasn't broken, but it was sprained, and would mean she'd have to take rest for a few days.
Which meant that hunting was out of the question. Which meant she was inevitably in trouble.
Raising her healthy paw up, she touched the spot where her head had hit the rock, wincing at the pain before lowering it to look at it; there was blood there, but the overall damage was minimal concidering what could have been, and what was. All in all... it had been thanks to him. Closing her eyes, she let out a sigh and slumped her body against the male's almost in complete defeat, "Karma," she breathed out.

Oh the gods! His heart was hammering when she opened her eyes, looking dizzy. He moved back a little, almost in fear of her whapping him with a paw. He never knew, she might result to violence since she seemed to have run out of crumby things to say about him.
"Shh, shh I know." He muttered softly when she said it hurt. He was no stranger to wounds, not many rogues were. Oh but to see a female in pain! Even such a vile-tongued one! He wanted to just cuddle her and clean her and do anything he could to lessen that pain! He wouldn't dare, though.
"No. S'not broken." He replied, though he knew she wasn't really asking him. But he felt too nervous not to be speaking right now. His gaze faultered as it neared her head, then shot up and just stared at the blood. Was the wound deep? He shifted but held off a moment on starting to clean it. Would she get mad at him? "Yeh... yeh need this cleaned.."
All of a sudden she slumped against him and he knew it was wrong to really be enjoying this but he was. He was also nervous as anything and praying to any of the gods he might have heard of that she would not suddenly flip out on him. Karma. At the word a sudden burst of nervous laughter escaped his maw that he quickly tried to stop. Karma... she thought falling on a rock was a result of calling him names? What was wrong with her! "K-Ka..." He couldn't even repeat it because he felt that nervous laughter coming again. "Kianga I do no' think tha' this be karma.." He said quietly as he began to lick at the wound on her head, very lightly and hesitantly but he knew he'd need to do a better job than this. If she didn't flip out maybe he could be more thorough.

Another sigh, this one having been breathed as a smiled touched her maw, her eyes opening only halfway to glance him from the side, "Karma," she said again, heavily convinced of the fact; in fact, there was nothing short of a God that could have convinced her of this fact, just like there had been nothing, only moments ago, that could have convinced her that he was, in fact, not all that bad.
He'd managed the almost impossible, and Kianga found herself forced out of her mental box; she'd had to take a metaphorical step out in order to glance at the in from the outside. She'd not particularly liked what she'd seen there either; it'd been her fault, "I'm fine, I'm fine," the words were mumbled at him as he fussed with her head, but she made no move to push him away; in fact, she closed her eyes and remain leaning against her, her breathing the only thing that signalled she was indeed awake and not asleep, for the longest while, "I'll heal; had worse done before. It's not fatal.... I'm more fussed about the paw," her voice had lowered till it'd a whisper upon the last few words, her eyes opening to reveal troubled purple, "Can't hunt like this," not to mention she was at the metaphorical mercy of any creature that were to stumble across her.
Kianga did not particularly like that thought; she was a proud lioness, and the thought of having to shy away from others was not one she regarded highly.
Her gaze slid towards him finally, a brow arching as she noted how tense he was as he tended her wound; in a way it made her smirk, really, and she couldn't quite help herself, "For such a lady-killer, you're quite tense. Words and actions, not the same, now are they?" it was flat, but not nearly as biting as her previous statements; in fact, this was almost a light teasing. If he thought she'd run out of stinging remarks, he was far from right; if there was something Kianga could do, even after having become immobilised, it was arguing, as he'd soon enough find out, "I'm not going to bite you," it was said almost as if an explanation to her earlier remark, "You saved me..." her eyes had slid away from him, and she fell silent against him once more.
There was a long pause, and then, almost as if whispered to the wind around them, "Thank you."

Hmph, well he wasn't convinced that it was karma. It was just mere coincidence, which was completely different.
Well she seemed calm, certainly not chewing his ear off. His body calmed a little and even though she said she was fine since she made no move to get away from him he continued to clean at the wound, this time doing a better job. The paw... he eyed it a moment and thought it over a little bit before coming to the proper conclusion. Right, how could one hunt if they had a faulty limb? And she further confirmed the thought by admitting it out loud.
He wasn't sure if he should offer her assistance... after all how would she feel about a cretin like him caring for her? Well she didn't seem to mind it so much. "Er... my p.." He faltered. Oh right, Siyo was no where to be found. Ack but this meant it would only be he... Nadra and Kianga... Nadra wouldn't like that, he knew automatically. He wasn't sure he felt good knowing she wouldn't like him bringing another female to their staying place, hurt or not. "My mate an' I could 'elp yeh with the 'untin. Yeh could stay with us..."
His voice trailed off at the next words. Lady-killer? Tense... because... oh! He frowned and almost stepped away from her. Was she kidding or being a jerk? "I... tha's no' why.." God, he couldn't say he was nervous because she was a b***h and he couldn't say he was not a 'lady-killer' with out being a liar (fullofhimself) so what should he say? "Hmph. Kill meh fer bein' tense abou' someone with such a sharp tongue." He finally quipped back. Ah that was reassuring, she wasn't going to bite!
He slowly settled himself to a seated position beside her. He slowly smiled. "Yer welcome." He said, equally as soft and as quiet.

Well, it wasn't all that hard to re-asses her opinion of him once he'd saved her life; not to mention while he was tending her wounds, so rather than prod at him further, the female remain still, only momentarily smirking when he squirmed under the weight of her words. Rather than answer him with said sharp tongue, she chuckled lightly, "Hmmm..." it was all what she offered him for the longest time, her eyes drifting towards the pool of water as she pondered her situation over.
This was when a pride would have come so in handy; in the old days... she would have limped home and the other lioness would have taken care of her. No big deal; ho harm, no foul. Now was a different story; Kianga disliked being alone, but at the same time despised the idea of getting near others that were not her own pride. In a way, she was still deeply loyal to them. It saddened her that those days were gone, "Long gone," she whispered, perhaps too low for Sawa to hear her; an ear did perk however at his proposition, her head tilting ever so slightly so that she could catch sight of him out the corner of an eye. She spoke none however, but rather, regarded him through large, purple eyes, watching, assessing him, almost like a child would have done, trying to figure out if she should trust or not. Accept or not.
Turning away from him silently, she eyed the pool of water once more, still silent; somehow, going with him, to where ever it was he and his mate were staying, seemed to her in a way, as if she were letting go of her roots. At the same time, the rational part of her mind was telling her that she could search high and low for her pride, long and short... she could search for ever for them, and she'd never find them. Living in denial had been fine, however... perhaps it was time to let it go; it was either that, or starving to death, all alone, "I'd love to," she turned to glance at him out the corner of an eye once more, there was a strange mix of regal attitude and almost childish charm to her now that she wasn't trying to bite his head off verbally. Or otherwise, "Thank you," it was surprising how easily the word came to her when it was needed.
She seemed to hesitate only momentarily before pushing herself up to a sitting position with her healthy paw, "I'd love to go meet her too," a pause as she bit her lip, her eyes rolling; she really just couldn't help herself, "I'm curious to know whom this lioness is; she must be one of a kind, to be able to Tie Down Deception," if she was going to stay with them, he'd have to get used to her sarcasm; it was just beyond her to not poke fun at others. It was different from before however; it'd lost it's acidic tone, instead resembling more a light tickling of a tease than a biting snap. It was clear that he'd won. He'd won something; it was hard to understand or see what it was he'd won, but it was clear it was something important.

He waited in a slight nervous silence. Maybe that had been too forward, she was still trading insults with him after all. Well... more or less giving them to him because he was just not as good as insulting others. It happened sometimes.
He could not hear the soft whisper of 'long gone' as he was too interested in waiting for a 'yes' or a 'no' as well as cleaning her wound. He finally stopped licking at the cut and shifted slightly away from her, which was more proper even though he really wanted to be pressed close still!
Ah, ah! She would go! His heart sang with joy but he quickly punched it down. He knew any moment she could get back to how she was before she had hit the rock... very vile. Actually... He squinted as he watched her, thinking maybe she'd gotten a concussion! He coughed and righted his facial features into what he thought was a charming grin. "Good, tha'ill be good fer yeh fer a lil' while a'least."
His tail flicked and the smile dropped right off his face. "T-tie down?" He said, almost ashamed that she thought that. Nadra didn't tie him down! "She does no'!" He exclaimed, feeling quite childish about it.
