It's been a while since Nariko had last since saw any of his siblings. Most of them were off doing their own thing which left him alone. He had been spending some quality time with his betrothed, Sarakiva, but she had plenty of siblings to play with as well. He yawned, the sleep slowly fading away as he got up to stretch. His tail flicked slightly as he walked away from his mother's den towards the grassy plains of the pridelands. Maybe he'd get lucky and find one of his siblings.

Of course, if you think of someone for long enough, they are bound to appear. The second youngest of Tufani's cubs padded silently throught he long whispy grasses of the pridelands. Radi never really went very far, her paws never lead her to the central pridelands really, she was happy to stay beside her mother, clinging to the life she knew. Soft green eyes watched the land as it passed beneath her paws, familiar, safe ground, a place she loved.

Her nose lifted as she caught the scent of a familiar male and she smiled, her long tail giving a sway of happiness. "Nariko." She whispers shifting through the grass and parting it until she was face to face with her brother. The brother whom would one day be wed to a pridelands princess. She had not seen himf or quite a while. He must have been busy with his princess. She couldn't help but let a little giggle escape her lips, though she hid the smile well.

Ears pricked forward as Nariko heard his name. His green eyes settled on his sister's form not too far off as he went towards her. What a surprise! It was as if Radi could have read his thoughts or something...does she had telepathy? He joked in his mind before shaking his head. What an absurd thought! He called out to her, "Radi! Nice to see you!" Maybe he could spend some time with his sister afterall.

Smiling sweetly the pale lioness greeted her brother with a gentle headbutt. ""It's noce to see you too brother, it's been a while." She coos her soft green eyes dancing happily. She was always glad to see her family members. "You're getting very big." She giggles,s he felt sdwarfed by her brother, her family seemed to be growing up around her, especially the males, getting big, bulky and growing their fluffy manes.

As his sister greeting him with a headbutt, Nariko pawed at her shoulder affectionately. It was nice to see her again, it's not every day he gets to spend some time with his sister. At his sister's comment, he gave her a lopsided grin, "Yea, my mane's growing in!" He said proudly before looking at her, "But you're not too far off from me as well, you've gotten bigger!" They could almost appear as opposite from one another in their color scheme. Whereas he is gray on black and she is black on white.

His tail flicked as he looked at her, "How have you been faring, Radi? Anything interesting going on with you?"

The shy pale lioness smiled softly. "No, I'm still with mother, just, enjoying the pridelands." She whispered. Where as most of her siblings had now flown the proverbial nest, Radi insisted upon staying home with their mother. She felt almost too frightened to stray too far incase she returned back to the den and found her mother gone. Truthfully, Radi knew she was too old to still be dependant upon her mother, but she couldn't help it, the world was a scary place to her.

"And you? How are you getting along with the princess?" she giggles, her soft green eyes dancing, she wanted to know, she had heard the rumours and listened to the gossip, btu really her brother could tell her himself.

At Radi's answer, Nariko couldn't help but smile warmly at her. Radi had always been the shy one of the family. While he had been a bit shy in his youth, growing up had proven to help relieve some of that shyness that he had held. Plus, he couldn't be shy and timid if he was to be Sarakiva's mate, that's for sure! "That's good to hear, Radi."

At her question, he paused before answering it. Did he get along with the princess? Well, she was certainly a character! He nodded his head, "I'm doing well. Sarakiva's been helping me meet plenty of other members," He said softly, "I would say that we're getting along quite nicely. We've spent plenty of time together as well as with her family. Since it wouldn't be good if I wasn't on good terms with her family." He gave Radi a lopsided smile.

Radi smiled gently, a serene little puurr rolling over her lips. "It's just as well really if you have to marry her." She giggles softly, the thougth of marriage, mateing, any of those things were far from the nieve Radi's mind. She was happy simply to stay with their mother, safe in the knowlege that she would be looked after, despite her age.

Rolling her small shoulders she decided she had to ask the question which rolled around her mind. "Do..do you think it's strange that you have to..you know be with her forever?" She blinked and blushed a little, it wasn't a question the very shy femme would usually ask, but this was her brother, she trusted and loved her family more than anything.

Looking at his sister, Nariko was glad she was his sister. Out of his siblings, he would definitely say that Radi was one of his siblings that he could be closest to. Even though she was a bit naive in mind, that didn't make her any different in his eyes. In fact, he liked talking with her and was kind of sad that they didn't get to spend enough time together as cubs.

At her questions, he replied, "I don't think I would be happy with someone if I didn't like them." He paused to think about the other question. There really was no real answer to it since he's never really thought about it before. "Well, I thought it was strange at first...because being a cub and all when this had occurred, you can't really grasps the whole concept. But, when I got older and understood it better, I'd definitely say I was grateful to mother for chosing this for me. I really don't think it's as strange now as it was before, especially since I trust mother since she wouldn't do anything to harm us or make us miserable," He paused before continuing, "I'm happy with knowing that I won't be alone for the rest of my life. Some lions don't find mates or raise cubs by themselves like our mother, but I'll have someone with me." He smiled.

Radi smiled faintly, her soft watery green eyes looking up at her larger brother. Reaching out a paw she patted him on the cheek. "I'm glad you're Happy Nariko. I, I think I would be frightened if I wa sin your possition." She smiles weakly, her eyes turning to the ground.

With a soft sigh the pale female lifted her head again and nudged her hairy brother with an airy giggle. "You're very brave, I hope Saravika looks after you though." She puurrs softly an honest look in her green orbs. "I wouldn't want to see you hurt brother, I hope it all goes well for you." That gentle wistful smile graced her lips again then and she looked away over the savannah. "do you think it's okay to be a little jealous of what you have brother?" she puurrs, "I would be far too frightened, but at least you have something. Don't you?"

Ears turned as Nariko listened to Radi. He was frighten at first, but then again, he was a cub when all this had started and he really had no idea what was going on. Once time went by and he got to know Sarakiva better, he felt much more assured with the situation and actually grew happy with it. At least, for him, he didn't have to worry about a mate or spending the rest of his life along since he'd have Sarakiva. He smiled at his sister, "I was scared at first, but I've come to like it."

At her comments and questions, he couldn't help but reach out to nuzzle his sister's cheek affectionately. He really did love his siblings, and Radi was one of his favorites...even though he shouldn't have favorites. He chuckled, "I sure do hope things go smoothly, since they have been so far." At her question, he nodded, "It's only natural to feel a little jealous but I wouldn't want you to be. Even though I have Sarakiva, I now have a huge responsibility to uphold once her mother steps down and Sarakiva becomes the new Queen. I'll have to help her take care of the pride and make sure things run smoothly. In all honesty, I might even be jealous of those that just have each other to worry about. But it's all natural, Radi...I would just hope that you're happy with what you have."

Radi smiled sweetly, that eternal innocents shining through on her gentle features. she felt very proud of her brother, he had everything sussed out it semed. Fear she supposed would have been natural, it seemed an eternity since he had been chosen to follow the path he had been put upon,, now though, now he seemed confident and happy.

"Oh! I never thought about that, you'll be wonderful at looking after the pride though Nariko!" She giggled in a bubbly sort of manner then and nudged her brother gently with a paw. "I am happy with what I have, it would be nice to maybe have a closer friend. You know that our sister left?" She smiled weakly. "She decided the world was far more interesting." She shuffled her paws then. "It's kinda lonely without her.." She smiled shyly, she had always been too afraid to go out and find new friends, well not afraid, too shy to find a new friend outside of her family unit.

The lion couldn't help but feel his face fluster at his sister's words. It made Nariko's heart melt to hear her say that. It did mean the world to hear he had her support as well his siblings' support in him. He smiled brightly at her as she nudged him. Though, her words turned down his smile a bit. His sister had left? Ears pricked forward, "No, I did not know that. What a shame, I haven't seen too much of our sister as you have, Radi." His lime green eyes looked at his sister, noticing her weak smile. She was definitely sadden by the news she told him, he could see that.

He let a soft sigh escaped him, "The world is only as interesting as we make it appear to be. I've heard our brothers talking about how it is interesting in the rogue lands compared to here," He paused before nudging his sister gently, "I bet it is. We should spend some more time together, Radi. Unfortunately we can't change her decision to leave, but we can try to make the best of it together."

Radi gave a little nod at her brothers words, she knew he was right of course. Someone else had once told her that just because she was happy here didn't mean everyone else was. Her gentle green eyed gaze looked out over the pridelands. "I'd like very much to spend more time with you. I'd like to meet your mate too, I don't beleive I'v had the pleasure." She smiles, it was almost as if she felt she needed to approve of the female whom her brother was betrothed to.

Smiling sweetly she looked away for a moment. "I should get back to mother. I'll meet you tomorrow, or maybe the next day?" She beamed, her soft green eyes hopeful.

Very glad to hear her words, Nariko couldn't help but nod to her request. Of course, the only other family member that had met his betrothed was his mother. He would have to ask Sarakiva to come and visit his family some time. It could be quite interesting, that's for sure. "Of course! I'll have to tell Sarakiva and bring her down to meet you. I'm sure she'll be happy, she's asked about my siblings before."

His tail flicked as looked at his sister. He couldn't help but nuzzle her cheek softly, "Tell mother I'll see her soon. And yes, we should meet up tomorrow or the next day. I'll have to come by and whisk you away!" He said to her with a playful grin, knowing full well that she mainly stayed close to his mother. Until tomorrow or the next day, he would definitely spend some more time with his sister. Hopefully to help her get out a bit more and see their homelands. If nothing else, at least to bond with her.
