Nalin was enjoying his newfound freedom, strolling around the gardens and paths farther from his house than he would normally be allowed. Sighing, he found a large rock, which looked comfortable and warm. Making a quick decision, he climbed up and settled into a nice position, watching the land around him.

Amaeli, like a delicate flower used to stay at home all day long, and usually she discovered the outsideworld by sitting behind her little windows, the one just near the chemney ^ ^
But today the door was open, and as she wanted to close it she saw a wonderful critter, round and red with black spots, and she ran after it, as the ladybug flew away in the garden.
The weather was cold but sunny. The leaves on the trees had some wonderful gold and copper color...
She was amazed by all of this.
She wasn't used to make attention from the different sounds outside, and she didn't noticed that she wasn't alone... 3nodding

Nalin was just about to nod off, when he noticed a patch of bright pink moving around in the grass. Interested he raised his head and scooted to the end of the rock.
It was a minya, a pretty one with a big gold star on her forehead. Nalin wondered if she was new, he had never seen her before. Smiling, he spoke to her "Hello there! Are you new around here?"

Amaeli jumped in surprise and turned back to see where the voice was coming. And she was even more surprised to see a young male minya, she used to play with her two sisters, but she didn't know much boys...
Smiling but shy, she answered:
-" Hello mister. ... (silence) Hem... yes I'm quite new around here, I don't go out very often..." sweatdrop
After a short silence she continued :
-" My name is Amaeli." 3nodding

"Ah, that explains why I've never seen you before." Nalin stood up and jumped down off the rock.
"My name is Nalin, its nice to meet you." He smiled at Amaeli. It was always nice to meet new people.

She bowed softly at him, in a gentle salute.

Nalin blinked at the bow. It was slightly unexpected, but he figured he'd go with it. He dipped his head back at her in a bad imitation of Amaeli's bow. "I'm not all that new... its just normally I'm not allowed to roam on my own."

"Personnaly, I don't know if I'm allowed to go in this garden... I've just never wanted to try until today ^_^"
she looked at him with shy but malicious eyes
" Would you think that it would be a good thing that you make me visit the place ? Or would it be bothering for you to continue on a not allowed path ?"

Nalin smiled back. "I dont think anyone owns these gardens, so I dont think it would be illegal to walk around." He though it over, trying to be sensitive to the new pink minya.
"Unless your owner would have something against it?" He wondered about the look in her eyes. It was strange.

" I guess that my owner will be more surprised than upset to learn that I went out for a walk, she often suggest me to do so, but I usually prefer my warm and cosy blanket..."
She made few steps to get a bit closer of him

"Thats good, I wouldn't want you to get into trouble." Nalin smiled. He was a bit shocked when Amaeli said she would follow him, but he got over it quickly.
"Uh, sure. Lets go then!" Nalin took the lead a little and started walking on one of the flower lined paths, this one leading to a small pond with a bridge over it.

Amaeli wasn't used at all to go for a walk.
She stopped quite often to see closer something that could amaze her. And it could be almost anything, a flower or a beautiful plant, a bug or a tiny animal...
And every time she asked Nalin what it was. biggrin
After few of theses pauses, she blushed a bit.
"- Sorry Nalin, I think I'm gonna try to get a bit faster... Excuse me, I think I'm too curious.... " sweatdrop

Nalin shrugged and smiled at her blush... he didnt mind all the questions. Besides, it made him feel manly that he could tell her things. "Curiosity makes the world go round Amaeli! Dont worry about it."
He paused and pointed a paw at a large white lotus blossom in the pond that was a ways ahead. "See that flower there? I'm named after it." He smiled at her.

"- Really ??? You're named after a flower ?"
She went next the lotus and look at it carefully, then smile at Naylin.
"- This flower lives on the water... Are you related to the water too ?"

The question caught Nalin offgaurd a little bit. But once he thought about it, he remember what his father had said about the meaning of names in the family.
"I guess you could say that... my dad is named after the god of rain." He blushed slightly. "He's not a god or anything like that... but he is blue!" He smiled.
