Gabriella was out for a morning stroll. She had been feeling keen on exploring all the areas near Mythril's home. It was a different area after all. She had been wanting to see all the ways to get back to her two-legged person's home. What was fast? What were secret ways back into his family's thicket of the forest? Besides all that, she appreciated serene mornings. Early bird got the worm as she had heard some humans saying.

Zikeria was drawing down from her flight, circling a moment before landing in a small clearing. While she had called the 'home' of Kahaina her own home, she always took to wandering now, stretching her wings, and of course, looking for her brother to harass once in awhile.
He, however, had not turned up as of late, and she was a bit annoyed about this. She did not like him vanishing, as it made her worry. A lot, at that. Now reunited in this new land it wans't likehim to just... stop being around.
Had he been... eaten? Crashed into a tree? Sick from too many berries? Finally lost all his feathers form preening?! She snorted, trotting along through the forest a bit and flicking her wings. If her brother had managed any of those she would mock him for eternity - providing he was alive, of course. Well, of course he was! He ebtter not have gottne himself killed or something!!
She made her way along, not paying too much attention to if anyone else was around at the moment.

It just so happened that Gabriella had been musing to herself that it was such a pleasant meeting to run into that wonderfully red soquili with the feathery wings... Zaribe? Yes. That was his name. What a romantic thing to as to go out and get presents for his mate... She considered her welcome into Mythy's family the greatest gift she could be given from him.
Then, as she continued her gentle trot up the stream and into the clearing. Well, there he was! She was amazed. Without his basket too... She remembered that maybe he would be a friend now. "Hello Zaribe! You didn't bring your lady with you? I was hoping to meet her too. I really don't quite know much of anyone I must admit..."
Once she got closer, she started to stare at him. What was it about him that looked different.. something sure was not the same... WHAT one earth was it that was seeming off? She stared gently with an almost half absent look at she looked him over.

She froze in her tracks as a female's voice came across to her, speaking a name... a name not of her own... but his. She craned her head around before turning more fully to face the - er... smaller Soquili. With pretty wings and a poiy thing on her head like Kahaina's love and all. Whoa... wait, how did she know Zaribe?
"Er...." Zikeria gave a toss of ehr head, her curly mane shifting it's lay to something less awkward feeling as she fished for words. "I do believe you have the wrong person... I am no Zaribe - that's my brother." She narrowed ehr red eyes slgithly, studying the other. "I'm Zikeria, his twin sister. How do you know him?"
...how did she, hey wait a sec. Did she say female?! WITH HIM. Her thoughts caused her to gape a little, looking a bit confused now as her wings flicked once. Wait wait wait what the heck...
"Run that by me one more time please?"

Being calm by nature, Gabriella took in a breath as she listened. She decided to do damage control first. "Oh, I do apologize for mistaking you. You look just like him!" She also listened to her voice. She noticed the smoother lines in her face and the more curlier of hair. "Yes. I can now see the differences as I'm more up close. But, you do look a good deal like him..."
Then, she flipped through all the questions. "OH, as for how I met him.. Well, I met him when I was out exploring just the other day. I came upon a gathering of soquili in the meadows. He was carrying a basket to collect all those gifts for his beloved. It was just the sweetest thing. I gave him one of the tulips that grow in my locks. He did seem almost in a hurry though." She looked up thoughtfully.
She then reflected on teh last question. Run it all by her? Run all what by, now? "run it by you again? That I don't know much of anyone? I'm sorry, but it is true. I usually live with a human out by the great river. I recently came out here after coming with my mate to meet his family and all."

There it was again! His beloved! She stared at Gabriella awhile, somehwere between disbelief and confusion before shaking her head. "No no, it's fine... I was wondering where he'd been lately... seeing ahs he hasn't come to talk to his dear sister after all..." Her tone was neutral, although she was thinking a few other things aside that - mostly about what she was going to do to him for keeping secrets and being too occupied to not let her know what was up and worrying ehr so much!
"Well, I'm glad he's okay," she said, sighing slightly. "Sorry, I've just been fretting about him for just... not coming around and letting me know what's up and all." She puffed up a bit, letting her wings spread slightly. "You'd think after being seperate dbefore he'd learn! Hrmph!"
After a moent of this 'seriousness' she broke into giggles, looking awfully silly in the process. "Sorry, sorry... I'd just been thinking about him too when you surprised me. ...Ooooo drat, I think I missed your name if you mentioned it... just sooooo occupied sometimes in thought lately."

Gabriella just watched her wide eyed for a bit. She would nod as she was talking, sometimes reaching down and nibbling at the grass which smelled especially nice in this area.
"Oh, my name is Gabriella. I guess I can see the point. I suppose if I had a sibling; I should be worried if they don't come see me for a while. I might be inclined to worry if they stopped visiting if they were disappointed in me.. or found someone more exciting to spend their time with."
She rubbed the tip of her hoof on teh ground softly as her tail swished happily behind her. Her eyes then followed when the other's wings spread a little. "Oh, your wings are bigger than mine. I wonder if all the other horses are bigger than me who have wings. Out of the ones I've met this far, I'm the smallest."
After that mention, she spread her own wings. Lifting up the gossamer wings that were etched like a butterfly. The sun catching the soft pastel prisms in them. It was like a soft glow that would reflect onto her hair. Somehow, the way the light did that to her sometimes could make up in some part for her lack of stature.

Zikeria giggled a bit at the size statements and flicked her wings back into place at her sides. "Well, those of us with these feathers do tend to be larger then those with more delicate wings like yours. I met another one once, and she was smaller too!" She nodded to this, emphasizing her point. "There's nothig wrong with it... if anything you have less worry of branches."
With that statement she laughed again. "Well, I just know he can be a featherbrain sometimes and forget things or such... but when we first came here we got seperated. We found one another and then he like.. forgets to remember to talk to me for a bit. And it's not like I can easily hunt him down, either. Not that he's hard to spot..." She gave a roll of her eyes to that one.
"I do hope he's happy though... just surprising to me maybe." She snickered a bit. "Then again, I haven't exactly found someone... sooooo...." She let that trail off.

Gabriella listened patiently adn nodded her head. "Yes. I understand. I did feel honored to be asked to contribute to that basket he took back to his mate. It was awfully sweet."
She smiled feeling touched by the idea of romance. She was believing it herself especially because of her newfound one. "I found someone. But, I don't need him to bring me trinkets from strangers. I should be happy if his family end up liking me well enough. I dunno.. His mother sure is nice though..."

"Oh?" she asked, settling down a little. Well, at least she was content with things... and well, she'd eventually find out about Zaribe's goings on and all. He found someoen who could put up with him. She chuckled inwardly a moment.
"Sooo.... hmm. Lucky to find someone, I say," she commented somewhat chipperly. "I know... at least one who has found love. He's a lucky guy, he is. Has kids too."
She made a funny face a moment. "Man I'm having such an issue trying to imagine my brother with kids."

Gabriela just stepped back a little pressing her wings to her side and lifting them back up again. "Well, you know... Sometimes, it happens that males don't show their great fathering qualities until after they have a baby with them. Maybe once he has a foal around his legs, looking up at him with admiration. When he feels proud of his child, he will be a better stallion for it. I've always heard that happens." She smiled. She blinked her eyes a few times thinking that it would be a wonderful day when she had children of her own as well.
