((This would make putting their pics easier xD))  Nalani raced across the beach, her hooves barely grazing the waves that reached the shore. The wind rushed at her, whiping her mane around wildly. The mare made a sharp turn and galloped up into the woods and made her way towards the meadows. She wanted to see how far she could go before she gets tired.

The seasons were changing. Not only could you tell from the trees turning different colors, but from the cold crisp new air that was starting to blow. Very cold air. The blue female shivered lightly as she stood up top a small hill looking out to the sea. Watching it sway back and forth. Thoughts had filled her head. Thoughts that others may think were upsetting with the look that was upon her face.
Her wings hid the truth. They were half way unfolded as she stood there. Them drooping over the fat belly that hid beneath it. Fat that indeed told that she was carrying little ones. How did this happen? It was a blessing, yet a curse. She had yet talked to the stallion that had helped her with this. Though, how could she? So many things had gone wrong the last time she had talked to him, and didn't think she'd see him again.
Though, now she had an obligation to. She sighed and slowly made her way down from the hill she was looking over. Not noticing the other mare in the distance. She lifted her wings from her side to fold back to where they where. She didn't think anyone was there to see her fat ugly self. She was holding back emotions she didn't know would ever come with this. Were they from her being pregnant, or where they feelings that she had hidden away that were know just coming up? Another sigh escaped the mares lips as she slowly made her way onto the sandy shores.
She always found peace when coming to the ocean. The sounds of each wave hitting the tiny rocked ground was just beautiful. The sound of the birds crowing as they glided over head was pleasant as well. But the most relaxing was the smell of the salty air. The fun it was when flying up there, though know she was halted to the ground until she gives birth.

As she made her way up one of the hills a shimmering object caught her eye. Nalani slowed only for a few moments, but it was long enough to see what it was. Her sky blue eyes widened as she noticed another mare. Someone she knew too well, that someone...was her very own mother who she had not seen in what seemed to be ages, but that's not what shocked her. Jeevita had a large belly, but it was not from eating to much. The mare was....pregnant.
Nalani halted and turned in the other mare's direction. Jeevita was making her way towards the ocean and her daughter decided to follow close behind. She was too curious about the situation and wanting to find out how it happened, why, and who was the father.

Jeevita had stopped half way to the ocean. Still unaware she was being watched by eyes she hadn't seen in a long time. It seemed like years, but only had been a few months. Her eyes were filled with tears, yet she wasn't crying. Not yet. She took a deep breath, before she heard hooves behind her. Oh no!
She quickly lowered her wings slightly as if to make it look like she was a lazy wind. Though, it was probably too late for this. Turning her body quickly, she saw who it was. Her face turned long for a second. She... She saw her like this? Her adoptive daughter was now standing only a few feet away from where she was. She had remembered every moment of being with that mare. From the moment she found the basket, to the moment she was an adult and went on her own.
"Nalani!" she gasped quietly not sure what else to say but sit there and watch in disbelief. This time a tear trickled down her face as she stood there. Happiness? A smile crept on her face to see that she was doing well, or looked like she was doing well at least. This was too much for the pregnant mare, or at lest too much for her to keep her emotions under control for the moment.

The butterfly mare stopped her advance towards Jeevita as a wave of emotion ran through her mother's face. She lowered her head and nickered softly to the troubled mare. Nalani knew she was pregnant and didn't want to stress her out more than she seemed. "Mother..." A warm smile formed on her muzzle, but a frown followed as soon as she saw a tear run down her mother's lovely face. "What's wrong...?" Nalani wanted to get closer to comfort her but she was too afraid how Jeevita would act in her state of pregnancy.

She stopped sobbing for a moment. She must look like an idiot crying after seeing her daughter. "Oh... Nothing nothing!" She said as tears came down her face again. There was something wrong. SHE WAS FAT! Not a bad fat, but THE fat that was suppose to be for happy couples. She went from a light sob to a huge sob. "How did this happen. "She said with some sniffles in between each word.
There was no point in trying to hide it. Her emotions were enough to say she was pregnant. Unless it was with someone she didn't know, then she could possibly pass as insane. Only possibly anyways. She looked away from Nalani out of being embarrassed for falling apart in front of another. She was the one that was very strong and could hold in her emotions. "I'm a wreck!" She said finally sobbing more.

She couldn't stand back and do nothing anymore. Nalani rushed to Jeevita's side and nuzzled affectionately. "Oh mother, please don't cry. I hate seeing you so upset. Please tell me what's wrong." The mare nickered and cooed, trying to soothe her troubled mother. She missed the happy and cheery mare she grew up to love so much. Something was terribly wrong and Nalani wanted to make it all go away for the sake of Jeevita's happiness.

She sighed and looked back at Nalani. "I don't know what to do. I mean, look at me. I'm fat." She started crying again. She still had to look for Lonatos to tell him he was a father again. It had to be him. "And the father doesn't even know yet." This turned out to be a nightmare. She didn't want to break down in front of Nalani.
"I'm Sorry." She sighed. "I'm just a wreck, and this whole pregnancy is getting to me." She dropped her wings completely to the ground and hung her head. Flicking her curled mane, she just sighed.

Nalani smiled warmly at her mother, "You are not fat, mother. To tell you the truth you look more brillant and beautiful than ever before." She leaned gently into her mother, "Don't worry so much about the father. I'm sure he will take the news well. After all, who wouldn't want a gorgeous mare such as yourself to be in foal with their children? Just take it easy and relax a bit. Everything will be fine, just have faith." The mare gently nuzzled Jeevita's belly and cooed to the foals inside. "If you need help, you know I'm here for you. I'll stay with you through all of this if you want."

She took in a deep breath to try to get a hold of herself. She knew she was going to break down in front of the first soquili she saw, she was just glad it was Nalani. At least it made her feel better that she knew the young mare was doing good. She couldn't tell Nalani the truth about what had happened between her and the stallion. Couldn't say that they weren't exactly on speaking terms now. Though, that would have to change now.
"It's just these emotions. Nothing to worry about. I'm sure all pregnant mares go through this!" She laughed trying to make herself really feel better. The tears had stopped, but for how long? Who knew exactly when she was going to cry again. Her eyes were blood shot. Her mane flowed lovely in the air as she brought her head up to look at her adoptive child.
