Catori dipped her head twords the stream, wich bubbeling lazy as it rolled and cascaded over its rocky bed. The water slid sweet and cool down her throat, refreashing as she had hoped it would be. Closeing crimson eyes she enjoyed the drink before raising her eyes to survey her surroundings, light was fadeing fast leaving only a few scant goled rays to shine out from pink and orange clouds.
The world was filled with brilliant colors at this time of year, brilliant oranges, yellows, and red around every corner but in her heart she longed for the snows of winter. Her reg and gold tail swayed behind her, her front hooves -dainty as carved garnets were still in the stream.
~Splash Splash~ She heard it quiet but swift, like something was running at her. She turned her head just in time to see a swift littel racoon leap at her, swipeing the bead and seashell necklace from her body. She sqeaked and starteled back a few steps splashing water around her. The littel racoon clambered to the other side of the streap, chittering and sqeaking in victory as he petted the pretty red green and white shells and beads before seeing the angery littel mare glareing at him, damp and non-to happy.
With one last littl sqeak it waved and took off down the shore.
" Hey!! Come back!! " She said, takeing off after the littel racoon who was supriseingly fleet of foot.

What a day.
Training had been rigorous and exstensive for the teal stallion, having met up with his mentor for some water based strategies in combat. Zevach was a taller stallion thanks to his father's genes, the aqua tipped white locks also a trait....yet thats where the similarities ended. His brother Marius was moreso his father's look a like; while he looked little like either of his parents. Yet that was alright....he'd gotten used to it pretty fast anyways.
Slowly walking along the stream shore, the skies were illuminated in an array of warm colours ranging from gold to pinks; it was a wonderful time of day. It was unusual he had so much free time on his hooves in the evening hours; before he'd train till he passed out only to repeat the process day by day. Yet....a certian meeting had changed all that; and he was inclined to see all that he could see in this world; his father's Nomadic nature starting to slip its grip around his heart.
However, a commotion snapped him out of his thoughts as his ruby orbs looked forth to see a raccoon emerge out of the stream irritable and soaked; in his mouth a necklace it seemed. Once he took off down the stream edge, a rather equally irritable mare crossed the stream and took off after the little theif. Usually he paid no mind to these things....yet the moment the chase began his sore muscles began to ache with longing; he hadn't chased down something in a long, long time.
Smirking wildly as his eyes nearly lit up in a determined blaze, the stallion took off in a sprint after the pair as his hooved pounded against the ground. Faster, faster, faster he sped, coming up to and passing Catori in her run as his eyes set only on the glimmer of the necklace in the Raccoon's grip. His chest heaved from his pants...and he couldn't have been more thankful that he had the advantage that he was in his peak physical shape.
Nearly coming up to the side of the raccoon, he made sure his balance was in check before dipping his head and taking a try to bite the necklace and pull to get it out of the Raccoon's mouth.

Catori had been running as fast as her slender legs would carry her, but even as she raced down the pebble littered shore a tall stallion zoomed past her, leaving her tiny pale form behind.
The racoon heard the joining of another and attempted to speed up, but ended up playing high speed tug-of-war with the stallion, and in all eventuality, was pulledd up to hang but the lechlace from the stallions muzzle white still trying to run tip-toed. He sqeaked in anger. How dar someone try to take his shiney treasure!!
All the while catori blinked, her neck streached forward and blinking, scarlet eyes obviously confused but greatfull she had help. At least she assumed it was help, not aware that the stallion was mostly after the racoon for the thrill of the chase.
Her ears flattened and put one last burst of speed attempting to at least catch up, tail and main streaming out behind her like emerald and ruby streamers. To onlookers they had to have looked like only a stream of cyan followed by a stread of snowy white.
The racoon all the time was sqeaking and sqealing angrily at the stallion while refuseing to take his paws and mouth from the beads and shelled strand.

"Dauhmn fuhrbahl! Leht gooh!"
Zevach hissed, shaking his head somewhat lightly as the raccoon was lifted from the ground yet refused to let go of the necklace! Persistant little bugger. He didn't want to harm the pest (although it seemed to be getting a better and better idea the longer it remained attached to the necklace) yet he needed to get it off without breaking the necklace...which would have defeated the purpose.
Throwing on the breaks as dust swirled up behind his hooves, he flicked his tail in a irritable fashion and glared down to the little beast. With his front hoof he gave a few test flicks before pressing down lightly on its shoulders to try and push it off.
"C'mon! Scrham rhaccoon!" His voice was low and deep, dripping with a dangerous undertone. Shaking his head once more, he watched the necklace suprisingly keep strong under the pulling strain from both he and the raccoon.

Catori sqeaked and skidded to a stop, rocks shifting under her hooves causing her to stumble a bit. But the nible footed littel mare regained her balance before crashing into the stallion.
The littel racoon eventualy lost its grip and fell to the floop with an ungracefull thunk, scampering off a few steps before turning back to zevach " Schreeeeeeeeeeeeeee~ scream : then takeing back off into the forest with a sullen aura, lurking for his next victem laden with pretty shinies.
Catori was amazed that her necklace had survived, and she watched the stallion with scarlet eyes, shuffeling around a bit behind him unsure of what to do, not wating to seem rude and just simply demand it back. She realy was a tiny thing, her demenor sweet like the candy canes marked on her flank.
Though he did seem to be a helpfull and kind stallion so far, haveing helped get back the necklace in the first place.

Finally! Zevach had been victorious.
As the critter fell to the ground rather ungracefully, the stallion stood tall and puffed out his chest in pride; the treasure now his. However, he wasn't too thrilled when the raccon turned and screeched at him! Folding his ears back he glared daggers, stomping his foot down as it ran off in hopes to emphasize not to come back.
"Oh yeah? Well Skreeee! to you too. Ingrate."
Turning back as he finally got a chance to look at the mare; ne noticed she was colored similar to those hool like candies the villages often made around the winter season. Cocking his head to the side he took notice that she too had red eyes...something he had yet to see in anyone other than his own mother....and well, Marius; but he only had one red eye while the other was green.
Blinking in suprise that he'd been staring, a blush rolled over his cheeks as he held out his neck slightly to allow her to take back her necklace. "Here...this must be yours." He muttered slightly, trying to be polite.

Catori blinked and blushed as well, a shy and sweet smile creeping over her face. She troted over carefully with garnet hooves to match her eyes, glad he was indeed a nice stallion. She carefully took back the necklace, astounded that it was as resiliant as it was.
" Thank you " she said, her voice soft and sweet. She didnt mind that he had been stareing at all, though she was rather emberassed virtualy nuzzeling her muzzle to his while takeing the necklace back into her own mouth.... But now that she had it back she had no clue how to get it back on.
She had never seen a stallion quite that color before, a teal like he was. She had seen a green stallion before, but the didnt have those intruigeing white patterns. " I dont think i wold have been able to catch him on my own, he seemed to realy want my necklace.... "
Then suddenyl she realised something " Oh! My name is Catori " She said, blushing brightly, her white cheeks flushing a nice bright red. How could she have been so rude to the stallion who helped her with that damnedable racoon~!

Now that the race was over, Zevach realized how uncomfortable the situation had actually become. He stood holding the necklace as the mare trotted over to reclaim her stolen property. Gulping softly, he tried hard not to wince as she virtually brushed her maw against his in retaking the necklace back. Luckily he'd inherited a darker pelt like his father and thus his blush was nearly too faint to even be seen.
"Don't worry about it..." He was quick to admit, a little too quick as he shrugged it off a bit non-chalantly. None the less, he noticed now that she held onto it a bit troubled now....even though she had it back, she couldn't get it back around her neck. Did he have to do every bloody thing!?
"Yeah...Racoons are stupidly stubborn like that, they see a shiney and they'll nearly die for it." He shook his head, his white locks clinging a bit to his neck as he did so whilst he stepped closer and hesitantly pulled the necklace back into his own mouth. "Here...."
Craning his head up (To which he thanked his parents he was a bit of a taller stallion) he slid the necklace over her head and down her neck; making sure to try and bite down on the clasp hard enough to keep it shut but not break the little metal thing. Using his nose to brush a bit of her hair back into place; the teal stallion took a step back....trying to keep his smart comments to himself and at least try and be kind.
"There. And Catori is it? Nice to, um, meet you. I'm Zevach...." Yet he couldn't help but grin a bit at her blush; which suited her quite well with the other ammounts of red in her hair and on her pelt.
