During my many years of surfing I came accross a mmo called Utopia. It was almost rp all the time. And in your kingdom, you are practically FORCED to be active (or else your provence would be would be raized by your fellow lords and ladies). Thus we needed a way to unwinde. So, every kingdom had it's own little forum thread dedicated to the sole purpose of unwinding and socializing with your fellow lords and ladies. This was typically something like public square or (in my case) a pub.

So I give you the Shallow Grave pub, a place where you can hang out with your fellow guild mates, ask the admins questions, and even order drinks (I'm always here). Just tell me want you want to drink, I've got it all. Soda, alcohol, even blood for our vampiric members (just tell me what blood type you want).

Uh, not everyone looks in the subforums. There's no way to tell if there's a new post in the subforums. That (and the fact I had no idea we even had a lounge) is why I put this out here: so people can actually see it.

Ah, well since you are in fact human, I suggest a glass of Burbon.

*Hands Weadge a glass of burbon*. Well, several months ago there were two "secret" quests from the Van Helson sisters (who are vampires) and Edmund. The sisters wanted money, while Edmund wanted garlic and black orchids. If you did Edmund's quest you were rewarded with a Black Orchid Brooch (showing that you support Edmund). But if you gave the Van Helsons 500 gold, you would get a Blood Drop Brooch (proving that you support the Van Helsons). On top of that, there was a progress bar that showed how much support each side had receaved. But the thing was, no one knew what would happen when the bars filled all the way up (and we still don't really know). But everyone thought that there would be a "war" during halloween between Vampires and Humans. The latest manga at the time backed up this theory.
It was at this point that the forums basically became a verbal "battle field" between the supporters of Edmund and the Val Helsons. People were posting threads that erged people to pick a side. And it's in one of these threads that Zion discovered one of my "rants" about a vampire apocalypse (or something like that) and that all Gaians that still had their souls and a pulse, should support Edmund.
Long story short, Zion agreed with what I had been ranting about, he wanted to create a guild that would "protect" gains from the forces of the undead, and he wanted me to be his 2nd in command. Then fast forward a few months later, and the Legion of the Living is finally up and running.
And yeah, that's pretty much how hthe guild was started.

Weadge takes a long sip of the burbon. He carefully puts it back down. "Wow, you sure do have some strong burbon in this place." He then turns to face both Zion and Marrionette. "And I do agree that not all undead are our enemies, heck, when the zurg landed, more of them wanted peace then to attack us. But I think we need to moblize into action soon, I've heard whispers and rumors of full out battles breaking out. Me thinks it's time to go and introduce ourselves to the world."

Cattsu barges in and takes her hat off and walks towards the bar. her face is as pale as bone and eyes as red as blood. "I'm thirsty!!" she said when she reached the bar. She grins showing her overly sized fangs.

Weadge nearly fell off his bar stool when he heard the friendly voice walk in. Weadge walked up to greet his former GMI/GFLD commander. "Zyke, it's been far too long. What's been going on with you since the GMI/GFLD disbanded? MM, a drink of your finest. Tis a custom to be the best for good commanders from where I'm from."
