being a prude right?

My whole life ever since I've moved to Prince William County VA I've been always working hard at school and etc (which was 6th grade). But. Ya...

I was never really allowed to go anywhere during middle school. And now, although I have a life and etc, I still don't talk too much during class cause I want to do well in school.

But then people can get straight As and have fun all the time. Because I'm used to staying at home, I'm too lazy to go anywhere with my friends. Which practically makes me a prude.

I didn't have much of a social life until I was 16, 17-ish. My first kiss was at the age of 16 and I wasn't in a long, serious relationship until I was 17... If it bothers you than suck it up and go out with your friends, if its not bugging you than just chill at home, its your life so its all about what makes you happy. For me, I try to get out of the house at least once a week because it can get kinda stressful focusing on school all the time without ever giving yourself a fun break, even if it is just going to the mall or movies with a friend or two. But I still have problems with going out because I'm shy but now whenever myschool mates invite me out or to stay at school and study I try to say yes because I always have fun even if I don't think I will. Its hard to say yes to going out but once you do it a few times you will most likely start enjoying it because thats what happened to me and I've always been very anti-social so my family members are always happy to hear I've gone out instead of home.

Your not a Prude, you just want to do well in school.

A prude would be some one who doesn't hold hands with their Boyfriend because its to Sexual....

Alot of people don't have these really big social lives because they want to get through school. As long as you do have friends and go out every now and again just for some fun, there is nothing wrong...

I'm with J walker Kim.
My daughter doesn't go out a lot but she is a honor student and a high school scholor. She has her friends so I guess it doesn't bother her.
It's excellent that you want to do well in school.
It just means that you'll be doing well earning money when some of those partyers will be working at mcdonalds

You're right. My mommy calls me like. 453958439367 times a day (she lives in NY) to tell me to only think about school. I think I wouldn't want to dissapoint anyone. And the fact that I've been in school my whole life so far, so I don't think I'd want to prepare myself for a pathetic life. whee biggrin

Stick with school. But don't forget to allow yourslef a little bit of fun time. When I took a college psychology course the teacher kept telling us 'make time for yourself to do something you enjoy, even if its just 5 minutes a day to sing along to your favorite song' because she believes it makes a big difference. Right after high school she enrolled in college to become a physciatrist and that takes about 12 years so she never gave herself any time to relax and ended up having a mental break down her 3rd year of college.

Lately, all my aquaintances in school (that seem to dress emo) want to grow up as therapists. When they're kind of like sluts. I never want Kim to go near any of my friends. Who knows if she'll end up making out with one of em...

some lost their virginities this year or maybe last yr. And we're sophmores.

I'm just like. "um. Am I the only one who thinks we should try to make it more meaningful by doing it after marriage?"
Like. For example. Mary. She usually comes to me as her councilor. But then at the end, she never really listens to my advice and she's broken up with her bf 3 times and they're still going for each other. It makes me feel useless. -_- ninja

I know exactly what your saying, I have a friend who used to call me crying all the time because her boyfriend was such a jerk and she'd ask me for all sorts of advice and tell me it was good advice and she was going to follow it but then she'd turn around and ignore it all and just get back with the jerk. All the sluty girls I went to high school with wanted to be hair stylists... so stereotypical rolleyes

fdsafdsafdasf I want to be a comic artist or something. =[ I might do a comic for my friend just cause I'm NICE and all. xP

But I just find it weird when people look through my sketchbook and see it in the process. They'd be like "what the heck is this about?!" So I'd be like "if I finished, then you'd know. -_-" GAH. lol
