Sirius wandered onto Platform 9 3/4 without a thought of saying goodbye to his unaffectionate mother. He gracefully walked toward the train. It was billowing a cloud of black smoke, and clouded his eyes, but other than that he gave no expression.
I wonder where Prongs, Moony, and Wormtail could be. We should meet up soon to find a compartment together. Sirius wondered out loud in the tone of a murmur.

Gemini watched her older brother head off toword the train. She hated having to pretend that she hated them when they were around their parents. She turned to her twin brother, Regulus, and nodded toward the train. We should probably go and get a spot on the train, before all the compartments are taken. Besides I want to go and talk to Sirius, she thought dragging her trunk toward the waiting train.

With a shake of his handsome head, Sirius began to board the train. Many girls gave a hopeful nod in his direction, but he didn't show any interest. Though he did not act licke it sometimes, Sirius was a little too mature to be girl-crazy. Poor James and his unrequited love, Sirius thought.
He longed to see a familiar face. Even his sister would do. He was feeling slightly alienated. Besides, he had not seen her all summer, having just ran away.

Gemini heard her brother regulus slowly gathering up his things and saying goodbye to their parents. She took the small opening she had and rushed onto the train to find her older brother. She spoted and open compartment and quickly stored her things in it. She walked quickly through the train and soon spoted Sirius walking down the hall. Sirius, she called, hoping that he would talk to her. I hope he doesn't hate me like he hates the rest of our family.

Sirius heard his name. He turned and saw his sister. God, I just realized how much I missed her over the summer. He saw the apprehensive look on Gemini's face and gave her a reassuring smile.Hey, sis, he said a little bit, if not too much, cheekily.

Gemini let out a sigh of releif. He doesn't hate me! I missed you this summer she said. It wasn't the same at home. How was it as James's house, better than Grimmauld place right?

He thought about this for a moment, but it did not take long to comprehend what she was saying. Of course it was better than Grimmauld Place! And James's parents love me. It was not hard to become accustomed to their ways. He gleefully noted that Gemini was not liking the way their mother ran things. I guess I'm not the only punk in the family.

Gemini was about to tell Sirius about the few good things she had done over the summer when she heard her twin calling her from down the coridor. See you later then? I had better go Regulus doesn't like haveing to lie to mum about me talking with you. No wories though he understands that I like to keep in touch with you. She gave Sirius a quick hug before turning and heading toward Regulus's voice.

Feeling slightly down that his sister had to leave so soon, Sirius trudged down the train corridor. It had not started moving yet, and he wanted to find an empty compartment. He vaguely wondered where his marauder friends were; it had not been an hour since he'd seen James, but he wanted to see Moony and Wormtail really badly.Where could they have run off to?

Nice timeing Reg, Gemini said glaring at her twin. I haven't gotten to talk to Sirius all summer. Looking over her shoulder she saw that Sirius had moved off in the other direction. Why does my family life have to be so complecated, she thought to herself. Come on Reg, I already got us a compartment. She took one last look back to where Sirius had been before leading Regulus to their compartment

Tori grimaced as she hugged her mom and waved goodbye to her as the dragged her trunk towards the Hogwarts Express. She walked down the hall of the train with a small bag over her shoulder and peered into the first compartment she saw.
"Hi Sirius."

Sirius smiled, relieved. Though he did not know Tori extremely well, he did know her. And he thought she was pretty awesome, too.
